Thanks Pete!
Really good introduction to Sonsig-A.
Thank you!!
I'm trying the demo OMG this is just what I needed!!
Yeah, it seems to be good for everything!
Excellent demo. Thank you so much for this!
Very helpful and well done. Thank you.
Excellent review,thank you,great sounding reverb!
Thanks Bob!
Let me know what you think of the Sonsig Rev A? What are your go to reverbs?

Oh wow that sounds fantastic.
I've never heard of Cherry Suede, but this track Rise is awesome. Would you please kindly tell me what kinda mic and pre this singer is singing through if you happen to know? Sounds epic. The focus and sound stage is great...So big and open...clear and focused. Added it to my fav playlist.
This reverb sounds great. I have a zillion reverbs...UAD 480L and the 224...Fabfilter...Valhalla...Waves ....etc etc! But I might have to get this one. I like that sound and it's easy to dial in which is cool. Thanks for your response.
I have a LOT of reverb plugins! I thought no way do I need another one!! Then I tried the demo... So, now I own Sonsig Rev A. It's actually my first plugin from Relab.
By the way I've made a tool if you want to help "time" your reverb to your track, like at 11:42
nickfever.com/music/delay-calculator
Great explanation on the controls!
The same for me @NickFever I have loads and wasn't really hankering for any others. However, once I tried it I was sold.
Btw, I actually use your delay time calculator all the time. It is such a coincidence you commented. In fact, I even reference it in one of my tutorials on the Gobbler platform.
@@audioproductiontips Awesome! I see it here: www.gobbler.com/tutorial/how-to-perfectly-time-your-reverbs/
I hope you like the recent update I made! Thank you for referencing it!!
Well done for finding that! I was going to post it here for you to see.
Yeah, I prefer the new layout :)
Thanks, this was a good review and Sonsig is an excellent plugin. BUT: it was really so much annoying that you always start playing that vocal track from that stupid position where after 2 sec of voice always comes that 4 sec of nothing! :-/
Thanks for watching anyway, can't win 'em all.
Annoyed me too, big time. The selected loop seems not have finished. If it happened once, no big deal, but to have that repeat cue with pauses was a tad getting on my nerves a bit after a while.
Thanks for a great demo of it. Nicely done. However you seem to stay around for too long on the short ambient vocal reverbs it has. I downloaded the demo, and saw this in your video too, while I spotted the output signals. If anyone else care to see this, the 2 stereo input signals are even. But if you watch the output signals, the L & R flutters fast between L & R ever so slightly. When I downloaded the demo, I checked out in good headphones and heard a clear fast tremolo (slight) between L&R channels no matter at what presets, settings or character and algorithms. Which....beats me. There's flutter going on here, I haven't heard in other plugins.
You should demo longer decay times, so we could hear the trails too. Doing short ones, ambient, sub 1 seconds reverbs is no big deal these days. If you ramp up time to 3.0 seconds and above, so one can hear the tail/trails you can detect artifacts, and hear what the algorithms are doing (like comb filter effects as you said yourself). I normally don't like to hear what the algos are doing inside any reverb but I guess at this price and on PC/MAC it's unavoidable.
You missed something of its traits however. It is perfect for nailing those cinematic bombastic "Blade Runner" type reverbs of the Lexicons in the 80s. The "bloom" and "doom" of low frequencies. While very unnatural, it was the fad of the 80s all along. Lexicon in a nutshell. For the current price though on this one (they have discount, now), it's maybe worth it, but not indisposable. Some other plugins does this too, without the L&R fluttering going on all of the time.
I am going to do a video on how to determine the quality of reverb algorithms and longer delay times (and turning off modulation) will definitely be a part of that.
Personally, I've found Sonsig to be amongst the best for not having metallic artefacts in its tail.
100% agree on the 80s cinematic synthetic reverb sounds being strong on this.
