Thank you! I’m moving to Pensacola next month and will be living with family to start out. Are there realtors that help with finding apartments? I know some states offer that, not sure if Florida does.
Downntown Pensacola or better known as Historic Pensacola has a lot of old homes that have been there since the civil war and after. Pensacola takes great pride in their history
If you live in a safe neighborhood In Pensacola can you send your kids to Pace or Gulf Breeze? The schools in Pensacola is what is keeping my family away. We can’t afford gulf breeze or Navarre unfortunately. May just look into Pace or Milton when we’re ready which would be a year, maybe 2.
Thank you for the comment! Pensacola like many other cities has it’s desirable and not so desirable areas. Personally for us though Gulf Breeze was where it was at!
So glad I went down there and checked it out. Way too run down and dirty for my taste. So much traffic! I was so excited to see the place. What a let down. Wasn't ready for the racism either. It's palpable. And I'm quite conservative, if that makes any difference.
I keep hearing Pensacola described as quaint or small town feel. The metro area population seems to be like 350k. Can you elaborate on how 350k and quaint go together? 😊 #thingsthatkeepmeupatnight
So Pensacola as a city has a population of just under 54,000. We came from a very large city and its is much smaller and quaint compared to what we came from
@jerrodlopes186 Even bigger question then. I would be coming from closer to 20k. I see a lot of various videos talk about Pensacola being quaint and running into people they know. Does it feel more like a bunch of small towns?
It's not much of a small town feel for people that are from here at this point. Alot more population. Definitely crowded since 2021 maybe, but that's alot of cities that were considered a small town feel years ago. May be that way for those who have moved from larger cities of course.
Thank you for watching! The cost of living on the mainland will typically be cheaper as compared to crossing over the bay. To the cities closer to the beach.
No growth opportunities and lacks progressive industries. Mainly relies on private business, government and military jobs, call center and bank employees, and remote workers to fuel the local economy. It's difficult to find non-tourist industry related work in this area or knowing enough people to help you stay afloat when you are in-between jobs and need side work. The local gig economy is highly competitive as well.

What Pensacola Fla. Are you talking about ,you are from some other place you have't. been here long enough to give an opinion , if Pensacola is so great why do you live in crowded Gulf Breeze with traffic lights on every corner.

Florida is a school choice state. I’m not exactly sure on the specifics but we have friends in Pensacola who send their kids to gulf breeze
Great video!
Thank you!
I would like to know the cost of renting a 1000 ft plus single story single family home near the beach.?
Thank you for watching, unfortunately we do not deal with rentals.
1200-2500 roughly, it depends on how nice and what style (high rise, condo, duplex, etc.) That’s near the beach. Not on Pensacola Beach.
City of Pensacola is ghetto! Gulf breeze is where you want to live where it’s clean.
Thank you for the comment! Pensacola like many other cities has it’s desirable and not so desirable areas. Personally for us though Gulf Breeze was where it was at!
As. Californian looking for a new place, this place is such an improvement.
That’s great if you can afford Gulf Breeze 😏

Why is the cost of living so low there??

@@EmeraldCoastReloTeam Okay! Do you know why it’s so much less than so many other places in Florida, though? Hurricanes? What are your thoughts lol

Everyone has opinions, ours obviously differs from yours.
Be nice Harrie
Florida sucks real bad but the panhandle is far worse
To each their own, we strongly disagree
