This scene is an excellent example of how powerful music is. Remove the musical score, and the scene just falls apart. Sure, Melissa's scream and the sad flashback sequence are on point, too, but the music is what makes this scene what it is. I gave up on the series a couple of episodes into the second season, but I frequently find myself back here to watch this scene again.
love this scene my favorite, felt the emotion and got hooked, the song was perfect, the anger even better. i felt her pain. I fucking love music/ and scenes of emotions like this. Brings it out!
I always come back to this bc it shows how powerful she is and how good of an actor she is she’s perfect for this role and nobody could ever replace her
I enjoyed the show from the start, but this episode and this scene in particular, made me a complete and total fan. The powerful emotion in this scene was amazing!
She is so powerful to save the world but all that anger the moment flashback to see her world destroy made her so powerful to destroy her enemies with heat vision
Awesome scene. Not gonna lie, haven't seen anymore of the series but this was impressive. She's a great actress and a great fit to play Supergirl. I might just check it out...before you ask, yes Ima Marvel fan but I do love DC too
@@xxgradiusxx by the way the reason why she's yelling it's because she's remembering her sad moments in her life if you did not know that already I'm spoiling a little bit is that their parents are alive so technically this was for dramatic effect well technically I'm a fan of Supergirl and besides when they found out their parents were alive I think they came up with that
This scene is just ... fantastique, seeing supergirl getting p#ssed like that is as terrific as when superman got emotionally mad after Lois lane died in the 1978 1st superman.
You just don’t see much of this sort of passion on the show anymore. Kara’s been beat up so much that she’s kind of numb and resigned to the pain of life.
kudos to everyone involved with this scene, the look of the heat vison, the way her hair was more frayed and blow the more power she put in, the slight shake to her shoulders, that scream, the music, it was all perfect. It's the most epic thing put on screen scince spiderman 2's train scene. i'll admit as epic as it was i was pretty teared up the first time i saw this. everyone has pain in there past , some more than other so i really felt that scream.
The reason why Supergirls heat vision is blue it's because in the arrowverse there is well I saw this on Wikipedia so I don't think it might be true but there's a chart of heat visions and depending how hot they are red heat vision which is everybody used to is the second hottest the first hottest was blue so they decided to use blue instead and blue is more powerful
0:30 When you start an arguement with your wife but you in the wrong 0:49 When you are still in the wrong and wont admitting to it, and the wife increases her defense against you, all while you think you are winning..... 1:04 When she overcomes you and goes into maximum power and just shuts the entire arguement down and you're just done 🤣🤣
supergirl would never be a real thing in this world and it’s just so sad to me because I love ❤️ Alex and the rest is history and it’s not even funny anymore it’s not even real and ❤❤
I've never liked that Supergirl has turquoise heat vision in this show - Red just feels right - Not only is it comic accurate, but it appears heat accurate. A blue flame is the strongest flame available, and realistically, she's not using that all the time. Blue also feels like it relates to something cool, like ice or water abilities, not heat.
The laser should be red and really, you used the dramatic scene on red tornado, not just because his power is knock off version of one of the flashes villains, but he should be a super hero.
One thing I've always wondered is why are they representing her heat vision as being blue? It made the Bizarro Supergirl episode a bit confusing when the Bizarro version was doing the ice vision thing and her vision power was ALSO blue.
Spectrerocks I'm aware (thanks for the explanation BTW) but heat vision is typically done as red (or invisible in the Byrne era). Also, as I said, when the Bizarro Supergirl showed up with ice vision (also blue) it made it harder to tell the difference, visually.
Spectrerocks Could be. It's not, normally, a big deal. Just when the did the Bizarro Supergirl episode and Bizarro Supergirl was using her ice vision it was also blue so there was no distinction.
Such a great scene! Love the portrayal of her emotions in this scene with the flashbacks. You can see it all spilling out through the heat vision.
Timothy Moua I cry everytime!!!
same!

Mazra you're right. The Scene itself is so Powerful but with the Music, it's something more, something Unique ❤
Mazra you are so right!!!
I'm probably too late for anyone to notice but it's a scene like this lost in the CW supergirl show.
Yes!
YES!!!! This is EXACTLY how I feel about most emotional scenes!! The music in scene can make or break it!
BEST Scene of the entire Series !!!!!!!!!! Thank You for Posting.
No. Best scene is when Supergirl got the light of grass

E Mane such coolness
E Mane It's so freaking powerful!!!! You can FEEL her pain and rage!!!
I cried so hard when iI saw this 😭 all that emotion was so beautiful
this was the 1st time i was truly into the show
Bruh fr the CGI now is worse
Never watched the show but this scene is pretty dope. I just wish the heat vision had some sound.
I think the score and emotion did a good job so we didn't really need a sound for the heat vision
If you watch Man of Steel you’ll notice a subtle background sound when Kal el uses his heat vision
I wish it was red
@@draco9280 I think it looks really good in blue
this scene is epic
I love how her heat vision is different from Superman's.
Sean Last ikr I LOVE WATCHING HER
nope, superman also has blue heat vision in this
@@sixtwohunchos4198 why is it blue?
FloydRos because the writers wanted to be “different”
@@FloydRos I once read its because a blue star is hotter than a yellow star which is our sun. And that's why they can shoot blue heat vision.
Best scene of the series. Incredible acting. Incredible music. Incredible moment. Love love love
I enjoyed the show from the start, but this episode and this scene in particular, made me a complete and total fan. The powerful emotion in this scene was amazing!
One of the best scenes ever shot on TV. Damn, epic in it's purest form
This scene is the best one so far. #Supergirl
Anyone else gets chills from this scene?
I get rly cold
I did.
This scene made me decide to continue watching the series. So epic!
GOD this scene is amazing!!! the effects are amazing! & this made me love the show.
Sancheezy It's so freaking powerful!!!! You can FEEL her pain and rage!!!
The effects are trash
I agree: it is: awesome
The effects are amazing
Gives me chills everytime...
I get goosebumps everytime i watch this scene
I’ve never seen this show and after randomly clicking on this, I wanna watch it now
You should probably watch the other Arrow shows first... There's like a right order to watch them all
@@gabriel_alemdoaquario u should only watch the first few seasona
She is so powerful to save the world but all that anger the moment flashback to see her world destroy made her so powerful to destroy her enemies with heat vision
With the music combined with her painful memories, Kara practically went Super Saiyan to defeat Red Tornado..
I watch this scene every day during my morning poo, it helps!!
LanceDaPsycho Ari?
Made my day! 😄 haha!
Constipation
what
Omg 😂😂😂
this is my favourite piece of music from the show, I have noticed it in other episodes as well
Harnessing Anger is probably one of the best songs throughout all of the Arrowverse shows.
Most powerful scene in the whole series

I forgot how funny Hank's reaction is from Supergirl screaming her heart out 😂
Supergirl: *screams of sadness and rage*
Hank: SuPerGuRL r U oKeH 👁️👄👁️
I loved this show so much, it was so painful to see it die the way it did...
Yeah. I’m rewatching season 1 these days and it’s kinda sad what it becomes later on as the difference in quality is jarring
@@navyakapoor1248 I KNOW RIGHT!
Her performance, the anger and trauma.🔥
I love Supergirl's heat vision it's literally my favorite super power Supergirl has and flying of course don't forget the flying 💖
This scene is making me watch the show now
This scene !!!
This is the saddest scene for me
The sims3 videosmaker I cry everytime
this scene is really emotional
The Anger behind the anger
Reminds me of the scene in Wonder Woman when she’s dodging the bullets in the No mans land. Very powerful scene.
The music and this since is make me cry. 😢
Kinda want to see this scene without music or effects. Just Melissa screaming at a guy in a red rubber suit
It'd almost be like an episode of Dragon Ball Z or something. Nothing but a bunch of yelling while they take 20 years to charge up their powers.

Y-You do realize that Dragon Ball was created for children right..?
Don't bring this thread back.. lmao
I felt every piece of that
Melissa is terrific in this
I always wonder why they put so much emotional music into a scene of her fighting some random government robot.
Melissa and Henry’s heat vision is unmatched
The Boys did it better on several occasions
F na. The emotion here is crazy and Superman’s heat vision against Doomsday was FUCKING DIABOLICAL
Henry's use is epic bruh, Homelander's is just lazy

kara is such a badass.
Powerful scene. My one knitpick is that they should have had the contact point of the eyebeams vary as Kara was moving slightly
U hear the pain
she is really supergirl love her so much
This is an awesome scene!
This is the show I miss.
this is the most headass thing i’ve ever seen
Imagine telling her to get back in the kitchen.
I now have no eyes
Holy shit that was great
Not sure if someone already asked, but does anyone know the soundtrack when she was screaming?
Sugar Edits Harnessing Anger by Blake Neely

She uses heat-vision to shave her legs.
Imagine Melissa filming this, just randomly screaming at nothing

her heat vision weak

Amazing scene;what is the name of the music in the background?
supergirls heat vision has always been red it was changed for the soul purpose of making her "stronger" than superman
I am so confused didn’t all of krypton die execpt kal-el Zod and his force
Anybody else here after season 3 ep 10
I cried 😭😭
i wish i did this in front of my crush lol also what music is the backround ;)
The fact this scene resonated in a greater compacity compared to Zack Snyder's lifeless combined CRAP speaks volumes!
If it has become sentient doesn't that mean she killed/murder it.
They couldn't afford movie laser vision? MoS BvS is how you do laser vision yo!
of course they can't lol
Blue is actually hotter than red but if they really wanted to be sciency you wouldn't be able to see the heat vision itself
doctor99268 It's solar energy, u can't see the sun?
EroticOnion23 i guess so but the suns not juat solar energy it also projects light

Why doesnt her heat vision look like supermans in bvs????
There is no sound of the laser firing? Damn that sucks.
if u listen with headphones u can hear a slight sound coming from the laser rays. it's just low compared to the soundtrack and her scream
I wonder if she was thinking about Blake Jenner while using her heat vision 🤔
One thing I've always wondered is why are they representing her heat vision as being blue? It made the Bizarro Supergirl episode a bit confusing when the Bizarro version was doing the ice vision thing and her vision power was ALSO blue.
