You've got some really nice Dinky vans there, I have a soft spot for Bedford vans and trucks. Thanks for sharing them with us, you're right to just clean up the Bedford Ovaltine van, it should display pretty nice. 👍
Hello and thank you for subscribing, yes this is my favourite batmobile and will always be my favourite. I have sourced all the components required to restore this model and I shall look at doing the restoration in the spring. I've seen a few of your videos of the hot wheels and that nascar collection is awesome.
Hello mate ,just discovered your channel, subscribed as well ,I do collect and restore cars.I think your vw camper van is Budgie toys no.12 ,nice lot, will watch all your videos ,cheers Laz
Ah thank you for the information on the vw, I have looked this up and you are indeed very correct. I think I may now have to look into these budgie toys more and add them to my collection. 😮
The Land Rover is an RAF model and came with the roundel plus a pressed tin canopy. There is a guided missile trailer and a Standard Vanguard to complete the Corgi RAF gift set. Makes a nice collection for you to aim for.
There's a book called The Big Book Of Corgi. Written by the model designer called M.Van Cleemput? A french bloke who was involved in ever single Corgi model from beginning to end. If you can get a copy, you will not be disappointed. It's a very big book. Unfortunately they are up at £100 on eBay. Ive wanted one for ages and got lucky. There was one on at £60. I put a watch on it and was offered it for £50. So I bought it and the book is a minter. Try find yer self one, you won't put it down. I regard collecting these old tried die casts as a bit of a poor man's hobby and that's the way I like it, cheap and cheerful. But once the big money starts to move in, that's when it gets spoilt and corrupted. The cheaper these things are then the more we acquire and it keeps us busy and out of trouble. So yes, Ive plenty, but I don't pay a lot. I like the gun metal blue idea 💡. Regards.
I’d restore all except the gun and vw split window bus. The parts for the Batmobile are not cheap. Watch others who have opened the Batmobile as the complicated parts can fly in all directions.
Lovely cars...and gun!
Thank you 😊

They are fantastic and most of the time similar to matchbox. Great cars for restoration too
Some very nice projects to do. Watch the videos by Corgi Bob and Martin Dare before you do the Batmobile. Those two guys are the experts.
