Thank you so much for posting this! Growing up in the late 60’s early 80’s (born ‘57), I’d worn out my copy of the Original Broadway Cast album. I was from Iowa and at that time there wasn’t much opportunity to see this, although my dad see it on Broadway, but didn’t mention it until late ‘90s.
Anyway, seeing this adds so much context, I really appreciate it!
To those commenters quibbles, any imperfections made this so much more real. Thank you again!
I LOVE this little blonde girl in the bikini top! She's killing it!
I personally think that the tempo Let the Sunshine In was way too fast and wasn’t powerful enough to fully grasp the situation and how dramatic it really was
Me gustó.
Creo que esta obra mantiene 100% su vigencia en los tiempos actuales.
Gracias por compartir.
Regards from Chile
Nice job Tia! I seen this play on Broadway 25 times, as well as college and High school. I enjoyed watching you all! Peace!
Great show! For what it's worth Claudes uniform is the correct camo pattern. It was that or plain OD green. The camo version he's wearing was called the "flower power" uniform by the troops who wore them.
Great performance!
Greetings from Poland.
素晴らしいです。みんな上手いです!
enthusiastic but do singing scales a lot out of tune, sorry!

Some quibbles. Flower children went barefoot. No nude scene at end of Act 1 (it is a powerful element), some of the singing is off key. Tempo of the Flesh Failures is too fast. Otherwise, the band is superb, and the harmonics generally good. I give it a 7 on a scale of 1 to 10 for the great enthusiasm. Highlight: the number that starts at time stamp 11:50
Thanks for the feedback! This was a school production so we weren't allowed to do the nude scene. And we wanted to go barefoot, but our tech crew said that it was a safety hazard. :/
Gotcha - that's understandable then. I saw my first production of Hair in 1969 so am a bit of a purist, but you are right, other factors do change things. On the whole I thought this was very good - great energy and great enthusiasm., Also, must be said, great choice - the message is still relevant, and still strong. My compliments.
Aint there supposed to be a nude scene?
I take it this isn't a performing arts college.
Bravi, ma ho visto la versione Brasiliana e loro cantano meglio
