- torq locker will be including shims with the production units the one I have is a prototype. however even with the factory shims i expect it will work fine.
Installed the Torq locker in my Pioneer 500 and it transformed into a tank! Especially since I have a long travel kit with 32” Blackwater’s. One of the best upgrades I’ve done to the P5 by far!
Hey we are automotive enthusiasts from MIT University India, we are working on building a 4*4 ATV for BAHA SAE and have ordered this locker but it didn't come with a cross-pin, could you please let me know the exact diameter of your cross-pin.
Installed the Torq Locker on my P5 and it was a night and day difference. Highly recommended.
Wish this was around when I got my first Foreman 450 in 1998. Only thing available was the highlifter spool for the front diff. Spool and no 4WD disconnect made it hell to drive on hard ground. Great video as always, thanks!
I installed a Detroit gearless locker installed on my 300, it looks the same but it never made the clicking noise that one does. They make a big difference, nice to have a honda thats a true 4wd.
I have the same wheeler and have been wanting to do this for so long! I ride sandy creeks and a locker is a must!

Great video @MudPuppy! It's clear you have lots of experience with this style of locker. This is one of our prototype lockers, thanks for bringing the tolerance issue to our attention. For production TORQ Lockers we will include shims just like we had to for the Can-Am differentials.

The instructions could also use some more details like torque specs. I didn't have any issues but I have installed a lot of your products. thank you for finally making this locker I've been praying for it for a long time

Hey man I been looking for the name of the drive shaft u have to change from 4 wheel drive to 2 wheel drive
They are no longer in production that's why you can't find them but they are called a 424

Would this work in a 2000 rancher? Used to working on 300ex and 400ex. utility bikes are new to me as far as mods
I think it would work on that one actually I would have to look at the part numbers and see what style diff it uses. They are coming out with one of these for the newer Honda's as well regardless

I have a Honda 300 and while I’m riding in water and it gets up to the racks it wants to kinda cut off and bog down does anyone have an idea on how to solve this issue
Grease your spark plug boot and wrap the boot and wire in electrical tape
If that doesn't do it it's probably one of your carburetor vents or seals leaking

Really clean pristine 300s are very hard to find and he’s basically turning it into a mud swamp bike which is ruining it IMO, I kno it’s his bike he can do what he wants but why not get a more ragged out bike to turn into a mud bike instead of such a nice clean one like this?
