Have you considered offering poster sized prints of your illustrations? If they were somewhere around $20, I'd seriously consider buying your art in the form of a few posters. They'd make good gifts for some of my buddies. Great video again, of course.
As a previous 112A owner, I can point out some other attributes. 2 doors, superb control feel, rear passengers have a panoramic view, trailing link main landing gear provides gentle landings, no “spam can” feel like I got in Piper Arrows. OTOH, I felt it was a bit underpowered with the IO-360.
Got my pilot certificate back in 1980 at the airport where my dads company was located. They had a 112 and when I got back from my check ride he took me up in it and checked me out. He let me take it solo for an hour. I’ll always have a soft spot for the little Commanders. That trailing link landing gear made most landings smooth. (Made me feel like a better pilot than I was back then…🤓)
I love all the "expert" comments from people who have never owned, flown, ridden or even seen one of these. As an owner of a 112A, I would disagree with most of them. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
😂I was not expecting the A5 shade, but it was well delivered and appreciated... This should be a running gag, honestly. Think of all the views and comments you'll generate from the Icon fans getting dunked on by casual SeaRey enjoyers.
Another awesome entertaining explanation! I especially love the Icon A5 cameo (ruclips.net/video/FCWSEebmOg4/видео.html) from the only thing on the Internet that has ever been able to clear up all my confusion as to what that odd duck really was.
Damn, I always thought it was one of the slickest looking planes of it's day. Shame the performance isn't better, looks like it should be cruising faster than its contemporaries
@@CompleteWalkaround ok thanks 👍 (: I saw a video of one spraying s feild and that really got me interested. I think they are kind in the middle between airplanes and helicopter. Not as manoverable as a helicopter and not as fast as a plane. I doubt they have huge use in that field.
Commanders have always been "plane" for me. Its the most plane plane that ever planed. Doesn't do anything particularly well, or particularly bad. It is a plane.

T shirts too!
Sames. I would definitely buy posters. If they had a cool background like a city skyline or mountains, even better.
@@AnsonChappell definitely tees!

Finally, a plane I can fit in!

Gotta love the old line, “cant lose a battle you don’t show up for”

I just found your channel and I got to say, you have better quality that some other channels 10x you’re size, keep it up!
Great little airplane..love the ability to get in and go on my own schedule!
That's livin the dream ✈️
Two good ones to review could be the Aeronca Champ and Mooney M10. Thanks for all the knowledge you've passed along!
Thanks for watching
I laughed really hard when that small plane shot across the bottom as a plane marketed to rich folks looking for shiny toys!
Fantastic video I hope you keep making these videos
I hope you keep watching 😃
Would love to see one on the murphy rebel, great videos!!
As someone who owns an '80s Buick...you're mostly right. My car is very well-made, though, thank you.
Do a T28 Trojan next!! father had one for years and i loved it

Coffee!!! Cause sarcasm needs to stay hydrated!!!

Tried to get the notification this morning but was still private
I've worked on a 112 a number of times, pain in the tail to work on. I'd have to agree, really not all too special
Can you do a whole video on gyrocopters and price ranges and performance? I think they are super cool but don’t know much about them.
I'll do a video on a gyro some day. Spoiler. They're not as cool as they look imo.

So…. We can put this one firmly in the ‘just buy a 182’ category of planes?
Yes, it's a big category
Thanks very much once again 🤓
I'd love to see you do a Pipistrel Virus/Velis writeup, the Rotax and electric versions.
Just as good as the 1st one that came out
Would you mind to calculate with nowedays prices Piper Saratoga II HP or SP please?
Nice can you do the AeroCommander twins soon.
It's really cute :D
Can you please do a Piper sport
I like these planes, but the parts can be very expensive and hard to find these days
What about 115 line? The best one!!
Yesss
SuperXimango next!
Socata TB-20 is another lesser known airframe.
Insurance is pretty cheap for a retractable gear aircraft
Boeing Stearman please!
Air worthiness directive took the first upload down

A plain ol’ plane…
Thought the 1:44 mark was a Mooney timeline... my bad.
That 500nm range isn’t so great, particularly if it doesn’t suck to be inside it for a while.
day 11 of asking for the aeronca champ pleaseee
Nice try. Who did you ask on the first 10 days 😏
@@CompleteWalkaround im so desperate haha i fly a champ irl so im pretty curious is all 😂
Hm, posted > made video private > reposted
Problem with the first upload? 👀
First
lol icon
damn metric system, 500nm equals 1759km?
it's actually 926 km, he might have made a conversion error idk
I did. 😕
So you've started doing comedy now? Hilarious to think a 112 would do anywhere close to 140 knots!
As previous owner of 112A I used to do 135kt and flew for 6hrs with 45mins reserve.
