Dear Serena and Ian, thank you for the farm tour. I see we all have missed your videos but we don’t know anything about your real life struggles (and we don’t need to know) so I just pray that everything is well and your farm keeps growing and being more successful every year.
You are a creative, generous and hardworking family, and your story and ideas have been an inspiration to many that now I see channels trying to replicate it, which only validates you. So many people have learned from your amazing videos, your successes and failures.
Don’t pay attention to the negative comments you may get, usually they are minimal, and we all get them, but the majority are from nice and caring followers who appreciate all the hard work that goes into creating videos and keeping up with your farm, so continue doing what works for you and your family. Love you and thank you for sharing your experiences with us and I’ll be watching your videos and the experiences you decide to share through this channel.

@@venusdimples556not sure if you know about the divorce, but sadly it’s not a rumor. Ian was the one who edited the videos, that’s why so many people are missing the content that they have been missing this year.

@@GardeningAddiction thank you for this. For someone to suddenly and completely disappear but videos continuing to be created and uploaded without any address to what happened to said person is extremely jarring and somewhat upsetting; denial of their existence almost.
As for the other people, the videos are still nice, yes, but half the reason I watched was for the farmer's market stand experience, humor, banter, and family interactions aspect that Ian brought. The videos feel much more big corporation "behind the scenes ad", or like a podcast now with the unknown cameraman not saying a word and the video content only being Serena with flower patches behind her. Not saying it's bad, but nowhere as special and fun as what they were.

Hurricane Beryl chopped off the tops of all my blooming Impatiens. And their leaves curled up like trying to protect itself from the 70+ mph winds. But in 7 days they look happy again & new growth is coming. Trees snapped yet the tenderist stemmed plants still stand. Nature has a way to handle weather change. Always have Faith.

Serena, I love watching you. Watched you guys before you guys bought this farm. You are an excellent gardener/grower. Have been a solid inspiration for me. I have listened to you, talk about seeds and specific varieties for hours! I had never watered a plant ever but was inspired to start my own veggies and flowers and now in my 3rd year at the FarmersMarket in US. Your experience is invaluable and so informative. As much as I liked Ian, and seems like he drew in a lot of views, I had stopped watching the videos as they were becoming less informative. Thank god, I see more of you now, talking about flowers! Lots of love and support to such an amazingly hard working couple❤️!

Great tour. Missed seeing the farm this year, but it's totally understandable with the weather the way it is. We're the same in Yorkshire. We've had nothing but rain and cloud all year. Everything is behind, or not performing at all. Just had a pop from a jar of pickled beetroot sealing make me jump. That should have been out of the ground weeks ago. Now I feel like I'm pickling Autumn beets instead.

Really love the orange & yellow lilies! Also the purple bee balm (Monarda). Here in zone 10 (So. Cal.) we're collecting seed from our spent annuals/wildflowers and then cleaning up, and starting to amend the soil for fall plantings. Local garden center just had it's annual "tomato tasting" event.

I hope the negative comments don't hurt your feelings too much. They sure hurt mine, and I only know you from RUclips 😅
I do miss seeing the vlogs with harvesting, making bouquets, the farm stand and the market, etc, but I'm sure you are doing what is needed for your long term happiness and success and I support you in that.
Parasocial relationships are weird, I get it and I don't want to be creepy. But I have to tell you that out of all the channels I watch and love, my husband (who finds lots of content creators annoying) says you're the kind of people he'd be friends with 😅
