Don't be discouraged. In the next straight-to-Modern set, WotC will definitely print a red and/or black card that should totally help in fighting Scam decks, just like how Bowmasters was praised by WotC for dealing with Ragavan.
Molten Collapse looks legit. I could see it being a staple in most decks that play BR. The number of times in this video I took out an Amulet or Sigardas Aid or Map in this video alone make me believe in it. There are so many great targets for the 2nd mode - Scales, Ozolith, food/clue/treasure etc tokens, Needle, Moxen, anything from Boggles lol. That added to Dreadbore as a card that is always a 2 for 1 or 1 for 1 but taking out a piece they need is a really good card.

It`s not your fault the format looks like a decaying carcass. I sometimes go back to the Flame of Keld 8Whack and the Pelt Collector vids just to see something that actually looks like the game we all love. If you want to focus your Brain on something else for a bit we got a Abzan-toolbox-combo withe explore-vampire for pioneer as well as a potencially good Mazes End/Gates-deck as well for Spelunking + Scapeshift is pretty strong + you can compensate the lands you sacrificed to Scapeshift with Echoing Deeps to get more lands at once out of the deck.
People keep blaming Fury as the main source of contention with scam decks. But ignore the fact that Grief literally rips apart people's hands on turns zero, one, two.... And when you add thoughtseize as well.
Been tinkering a bit with Ojer and its rather silly. Mayhaps you can find a good home for it? Plan: Cast 3 rituals for 6 mana - > Ojer -> Grapeshoot for x5 = 20 Damage
Yeah I say someone on twitch earlier today brewing it a bit. It requires a pretty significantly lower storm count to get to lethal. The build they were working with was starting with past in flames and then game two siding it out for Ojer.
It was already a huge red flag when they decided to make no changes to pioneer (karn needed to go) too. That should have been a sign that no changes to modern would be made.

We'll have to wait and see! It's pretty mixed right now, with some Rakdos scam decks still using terminate and others using Molten Collapse!
