EZBOT "lyubov" Hardware Only - Jungle

This is a track I wrote using the Digitakt, Digitone, Syntakt, Octatrack MK2, and the Roland TB-03. It's what I consider an opening track. The music was Inspired by jungle, drum and bass, acid techno and a general need to write something that made me feel good when I played it. Digitakt on drums and chords, Digitone on pads, Syntakt on bass and leads, TB-03 on acid bass, and of course the Octatrack MK2 on performance mixer duties with the Ultimate FX Template. There were a few mistakes in there, which I anticipated as it was the first time I played the song live.

@@EZBOT_ If I catch myself there someday, I will do that. I have owned shitload of Eurorack, samplers, etc. I catch myself looking at that op1 field lately…I want 1 device to play live with. I play experimental noise music ( puce Mary, pharmakon, Prurient, etc.) . The limitations and the accuracy it demands stimulates me. Bad idea? Advice?

@@NothingNowhereNoOne you should check out the Lyra 8 if you enjoy noise and experimenting. OP-1 Field can do noise but its more of a straightforward song writing tool imo

But man, the height of the table is giving me back pain alone from watching.
Just out of curiosity: I saw you check that piece of paper a couple times. What kind of notes do you take before performing?

It says what bank and pattern is next, I was preparing to change songs but I kept changing my mind.

Cool. When I take notes, it usually lists certain effects / tracks I don't wanna forget using, because that happens quite often: finish my recording and I realize what I forgot to do.
Or when my focus went too much towards my Digitone or whatever, and I completely forget about the bass I still have running, and I end up with something I like... if it wasn't completely destroyed by 8 minutes of always the same, never changing, never pausing bassline... This is how I ended up with "remember that bass!!" on my notes ^^
I'm still hoping that gets better with practice and routine.
