This song went straight to No.1 in Britain the moment it came out. Back then when you have to buy a record of the song from the music shops (yeah, quaint, I know…) supplies ran out by day’s end. That was how big the song was.
It was a great time to be a teenager in the 80's with all type of music. Everyone knew this one, even the metalheads ( they just won't admit it.....)......

Limahl is such a "goo goo" He was the one who sang the theme song for the film "The Neverending Story" with the same title. Please have your patrons vote on you reacting to it. The intro to this song is one of the most criminally underrated pieces of music ever produced. I could see it being used in a movie during a fantasy girl/woman dream sequence or something like that.

I was 20 or so when this song came out and was everywhere. It’s weird seeing the lyrics printed out like that. I would think it distracts from initial enjoyment, as undue attention is focused on the not-very-deep lyrics.

Yes I went to see them at the Milton Keynes theatre a few years back, Nick was playing bass guitar alongside Steve.

this is a British Band, right after this video they fired the lead singer, tried to give the lead to the bass player and their fans were so pissed off they stopped following the band, band fell apart, never to be heard of again
