  • Having the ability to catch fish using artificial bait, makes life easier when fresh bait is not available. Its always good when a plan comes together. This was the case when I set out to catch mullet using artificial worms as bait. The Hobie Lynx made an ideal fishing platform. As you will see in the video, there were plenty of fish around, and I show you the successful tackle and tactics you can use to catch thin-lipped mullet using isome artificial worms.

What a wicked video!! I've been looking at this technique and reading a few books. This video has given me the confidence to give it a go!

Thanks Lyle, it definitely works, but if you swap isome for live ragworm, you will catch a lot more. Best of luck.

I think there is alot to learn about TLM Garry. Red is definitely an important colour for them. I'm already looking forward to fishing for them this year.

@@dizzyfish hopefully see you there again, I have found mullet fascinating since I was a boy. Thick lipped under my dads boat. Just Seemed impossible to catch back then. Of course they often still can be at times 😅.
