Definitely do a step up, it’ll be a perfect trick jump and perfect to session over and over. It’ll also add to the variety since there’s already a quarter pipe
You are the man Matt Jones! I have been following your career for a while and I think you are doing great things for the sport. I'm a Civil Engineer from Los Angeles, Ca that loves MTB and if you don't mind, I would like to give you some feedback. Your park is great but I have noticed multiple low spots with no drainage system. If you want I will be more than happy to design a simple drainage system for your park, it would definitely prevent or at least minimize future erosion from storm water runoff. I would also love to create a 3D model of your park (On Civil 3D-Autocad) where we can potentially add more features and such. Let me know! Cheers mate!
The new Bobsled line should be called 'The Cool Runner' after the movie Cool Runnings I think. Definitely do a step up after instead of a quarter, it'll be so epic. Love these build vids, loving the Playground, loved the pro's coming over, loved the car jump. Epic episode, Thank you once again Matt, Ben, Jamie and the other riders!
Omfg. I never thought I could love jono more. The crashes in Madeira, the hair cut bets with Brendon, the ultimate mini bike crash, the stink E hedge crash ALL surpassed by the pond swan dive 🤣🤣🤣 omg what a legend!!
As a professional landscaper… I love watching these build videos sooo much. I stand by my conviction for the last 20 years - the best landscapers are actually extreme sports athletes who understand the concept of flow better than anyone.
Turf stacking tip : if you stack them soil to soil and green to green , they will bond together and compost the grass into soil quicker . . Hope this helps. Playground of FUN . Thanks!!
How crazy is it to think that you’re as good as a content creator as you are riding bikes. Love the fun you have, pure and genuine fun, that s why your videos work so well. Cheers guys !
I love that the build laps are so quick and sick to watch. They use the same music every time and somehow It never gets old though. Love the new series, Keep on going with it!!
Insane, as always, love to see the progression! With the new track-gap you've put a landing right where you get spit out after reversing direction with a lot of speed. Why not add dirt to each side of the new landing so you can pump it/use it like a big roller and make your way back up the hill? Jono's jump had me in fits. Love to see the crew coming out to ride!
Needs a landing on the back of the new “rough” berm into a big step up/trick jump up the rutted hill. Ridiculous “out of bounds” line. Also need a golf flag in the pond, good wind gauge
I've said this on nearly every video of this series but Jesus you are a driven mad man and I and others look up to your determination and respect your hard work, unreal this workload
If these episodes were an hour long they would be too short... I'm sure that would kill you to do but I could watch these all day. Keep up the amazing content!!!
Always respect the graft 🙌 Edit: The same roller you started the side line, could you go off the right side as well? Could get alot of speed of the hill maybe for another line
Looks like a lot of fun! I'm a BMXer, and I usually ride street now that I'm older. I'll be 50 years old this year, and I have broken both my legs from jumping BMX. You'd be surprised how easy it can happen, and I just try to be careful. Your guys jumps, and trails looks awesome! I'd really love to try them out. With love, and genuine respect I thank you. Wes Sept
I would go with a step up, a quarter pipe would end the trail pretty quick however the step up could rap around left back into the ending of the main line. This could pretty much end off that lap of trail just perfectly.
Do both the step-up and quarter pipe! Also, on the bobsled berm, build a landing on the other side of it that goes down the hill so you can berm transfer out.
The pond is splendid! Aesthetically, it would be perfect if you could line it with some stones and replace the turf blocks with said stones as well. I know that's a lot of work on a non-biking feature. As such I will do it myself upon your request. Best,
The feature next to the water areabshould be called the “drop zone”. In golf if you hit your ball into the water, you have to take a ‘drop’ which is technically a penalty stroke.
The big berm could be called the “dog leg” because in golf if there is a hole that goes that much right for instance, it’s called a dog leg right hole. Would be pretty dope. Keep up the good work!
I’d love to see a tunnel of some sort, or a jump where you can ride in between while someone is simultaneously jumping over you. Loving everything so far! Sweet series
Dude I love this series. I'm working on something similar right now ofc not as gnarly and you've given me fantastic ideas on techniques of building jumps. Keep up the hard work. And yes, definitely go with a step up considering you already have a quarter pipe and step ups are jus so sick. rock on🤘
These videos are insane! so much fun to watch, better than any netflix series! If there is enough speed coming out of the trail gap, then you could hit the step up, and turn left around the tree with a roller berm and hit a little trick jump before jumping back into the bottom of the main trail going the opposite way of normal by the small rollers. Then you could jump off the quarter pipe/hip landing into a new set of jumps.
I think once you've built a ton of tracks, you should fill some of the large spaces with fresh sandpits (ie Sand traps) I think it would stand out brilliantly with drone shots overlooking the park!
The dirt pipe snake run down the gully under the bridge would be sick! It even looks like you could boost the new bobsled berm straight and make an epic step down
Incredible video, buzzing to see you ride the new line! I think a step up as well, there’s a lot of space up that way to continue the new line. Good luck in Switzerland!
Step up for sure! Not sure what’s on the other side of the hill there but even a step on step off super cross style jump once you step up could be cool. Great seeing all the boys loving the lines, such great work with this playground series! Lovin it!
Do a step up and either a roller or jump after into a big right berm and go back down the hill with a step down and utilize the valley. And then you’re kinda making your way back to the beginning of the trail too. Would be sweet! Keep up the good work Matt! Cheers
Matt, have to give you major, major props for this place and amount of hard, manual work you all have put into it. Have to say, I like the offshoot Jamie line, looks so fun, think it should go to a step up and then turn and drop into a low spot. Can't wait to see the 4 wheeled course you come up with for the Nomad, may be time to take it to the Welsh countryside and get some proper instruction and time driving it off road. BTW, your brother is CrAzY LOL. On the fountain in the pond to stop mosquito's, it works because they need a calm water surface as they use surface tension to land and lay the eggs, then the larvae need it when they're morphing from pond larvae into actual mosquitos, if it's disturbed, they sink and drown.
I use to ride BMX as a kid and we built tracks and jumps but nothing like this. It is amazing that you are doing all this work by hand. We would have loved to have had this track. Awesome job.
Build a massive step up, it will be perfect to continue the line on and that way you will be able to add more cool features too. Can't wait for episode 11! :)
I think that I would be awesome to have a step up, then a 180 berm straight to a step down back down the hill to a massive quarter pipe. That’s what I think that would be sick can’t wait to see the next episode!!
For the feature after the racer, you could make a wide quarter pipe that you can jump to the right and go around into the wedge trick jump like a split line. You could also make it a step up so it can be a double action jump. Loving the content. Definitely worth my time watching you Matt.
If not a step up, maybe an up-box? Looks like the back of that hill would be nice for a lander. Your trails are so sick! Watched all the backyard build series and now the Playground. Just keep on bringing the gold! 🤙
I think you should do a right quarter pipe into a left burm then continue off into that valley but you should also do a step up into something else. It would be a lot of work but worth it.😊
Matt you're looking healthy AF! All that digging! Good uck at the comp. What about giving an option to come back on yourself, jump off the landing to the gap in reverse, and thread between those trees you can see in the aerial shot? Reusing the landing as a take-off saves loads on digging! Plus it's just a cool use of space. You'd build a little, and get a lot.
That last part of the new section, I think, should be a step up into a turn, then straight into a shark fin. So its basically just a elevated turn, kind of like a jump in and out. If possible you could make more of a landing for it, so its more Jamey friendly and trickable, but the idea of hopping up and ripping around in a tight elevated turn is super cool to me Mate. Love the builds and I hope they don't stop soon. Keep up the hard work
A step up into a 180 berm then a step down into the valley again would feel good to ride. Could also put inside and outside line for different sized jumps. Great video enjoyed watching them all
My 3 year old loves the build lapses! I'm not a bike fan by any means, but I've been along for the ride ever since the lockdown series. Keep it up, legends!
For the pond, u should tie/fasten a taught string to the solar panel water jig and a heavy rock on the other end and place it in the middle of the hot tub to make sure it's always in the sun and doesn't get caught up in the shade on the sides!
That addition of the fountain to the pond to absolutely brilliant! Mosquito larvae need still water. They are terrible swimmers and hate any sort of current or disturbance in the water. Well done! I am completely in love with this series!
Definitely do a step up, it’ll be a perfect trick jump and perfect to session over and over. It’ll also add to the variety since there’s already a quarter pipe
100%
That would be sick 👍👍
Yes
Agree
stil think a sharkfin out of wood needs to be added
Jono’s pond dive needs to be added to the intro, absolute quality 😂
+1 to that, full commit
As soon as I read your comment I had to find where in the video it happened 🤣🤣
Omg yes!
that would be sick
Without a doubt

Nice one 👍

Thank you for you professional great insight.
Jonno jumping in the pond is the funniest thing ever 😂😂
Joni needs his own channel so good
Fully committed to that jump 😭
Funniest thing I've seen on RUclips 🤣
🤣🤣🤣 crazy and amazing guys
Makes it even better that the reason he done it was for a curry 😂
these last 2 episodes were absolutely insane, who knew this kind of content would be so awesome to watch
Turf stacking tip : if you stack them soil to soil and green to green , they will bond together and compost the grass into soil quicker . . Hope this helps. Playground of FUN . Thanks!!
and you can trow on some extra dirt to pack them all together.
How crazy is it to think that you’re as good as a content creator as you are riding bikes.
Love the fun you have, pure and genuine fun, that s why your videos work so well. Cheers guys !
Bloody loving this series, best thing on youtube right now. Cheers fellas!
Totally mate, lovin it.
amen

Make a little ramp/rockery in your pond so smaller/young wildlife can get out. Place is looking epic, crazy amount of work!
Yh definitely. Especially how they have rabbits and other animals running around there.
Wow! That build lapse is straight up art!
Always respect the graft 🙌

Just great to see your desire excitement and dedication to a dream playground build and fun rides.. Great viewing..
Do both the step-up and quarter pipe! Also, on the bobsled berm, build a landing on the other side of it that goes down the hill so you can berm transfer out.
Best build series ever! Love to see it all come together, and you guys have worked your asses off.
The pond is splendid! Aesthetically, it would be perfect if you could line it with some stones and replace the turf blocks with said stones as well.
I know that's a lot of work on a non-biking feature. As such I will do it myself upon your request.
Best,
Step up, once up roll hard right and back around to the startish area.
Sick place. Love what hard work can do.
The feature next to the water areabshould be called the “drop zone”. In golf if you hit your ball into the water, you have to take a ‘drop’ which is technically a penalty stroke.
That is one of the greatest pieces of digital entertainment I have ever witnessed, slow clap gentleman
The big berm could be called the “dog leg” because in golf if there is a hole that goes that much right for instance, it’s called a dog leg right hole. Would be pretty dope. Keep up the good work!
he said he's done with the golf theme
Well done guys what an epic installment, you have all moved some serious dirt.LEGENDS.
Massive transformation the name playground fits in perfectly great to have a mini jam there with other pros the extra long vid is amazing
And yes, definitely go with a step up considering you already have a quarter pipe and step ups are jus so sick. rock on🤘
Love that the side line was built as an alternative to miss a big jump... and ends up containing an even bigger jump
When will that gusset saddle become available the one you was going to put on the dh rig
You ride dh?
@@liam.nicholsonrides6296 yes sir
These videos are insane! so much fun to watch, better than any netflix series!

Thought the backyard line would’ve been the dream, then came the amazing compound line and now this INSANE Playground! What’s next?!
Bikepark!
Hopefuly just playground to endless perfection! Brilliant project and place!
So much back breaking work gone into this playground. 🙌🙌
I don't know why but Sam calling Matt "Matthew" is so wholesome and makes me smile every time. lol
Ben's never ending battle with inches gives me life.
He rarely shows his face. But he always makes a splash. Jono the legend
I say do both! Having an option could create the best line and could open up so many opportunities!
I think once you've built a ton of tracks, you should fill some of the large spaces with fresh sandpits (ie Sand traps)
I think it would stand out brilliantly with drone shots overlooking the park!
Step up for sure and a pump track in the valley by the 1st drop down!!!!
Love how it’s started as a line for Jamie so he didn’t have to jump the step down and it’s not turned into a 22ft gap jump 😂😂😂
😂
Absolutely amazing 😻 love ❤️ watching you build tracks
The dirt pipe snake run down the gully under the bridge would be sick! It even looks like you could boost the new bobsled berm straight and make an epic step down
I reckon for the lip on the bobsled line, build either a massive dirt merchant sized step up, or a whale tail / on-off pad. That would be sick!!
This is 100% my favourite episode yet
really loving the playground builds and riding keep up the amazing content. also really hyped to see you back in comps!!
The Pain of digging through hard Rock is horrible, My hat comes off to you Matt Jones!!
Incredible video, buzzing to see you ride the new line! I think a step up as well, there’s a lot of space up that way to continue the new line. Good luck in Switzerland!
Best videos ever, the jumps and pond so satisfying. Love Sam Reynalds accent, great Videos Matt. Keep up the hard work.
Step up for sure! Not sure what’s on the other side of the hill there but even a step on step off super cross style jump once you step up could be cool. Great seeing all the boys loving the lines, such great work with this playground series! Lovin it!
The drone follow shots make it looks very sick ...

I love this channel and watching the build progress at the playground. Its gonna be mental when it's done.
This whole series has been excellent but surely the highlight is Jono's dive into the pond. That was just mental!
The "cool running" line! Love it
Build's pond, fills pond, Jonno flops all the water out, and then it rains. Wonderful
Love the look of the new line!
unreal graft from you lads on these videos that new jump looks insane!
For sure a step up!! Perfect jumps Matt
Maybe behind the new berm build a second one but this time make it go left through the trees. Awesome work gentlemen!
the manual labor to put all this... hats off to you guys...
I think that I would be awesome to have a step up, then a 180 berm straight to a step down back down the hill to a massive quarter pipe. That’s what I think that would be sick can’t wait to see the next episode!!

Best series so far - look forward to these every week
Everything been set up nicely I love it.
Definitely a step up to explore the other side of the mountain! 🤙🏾
I think you should do a right quarter pipe into a left burm then continue off into that valley but you should also do a step up into something else. It would be a lot of work but worth it.😊
The first transition was so fire I was freaking out
The drone shots made it look gnarly

Definitely step up, it will make it more accessible to more riders and you can do way more bangers on it 🔥🔥
The playground is looking awesome mate what ever you build next I am sure that it will be amazing. 👍🇦🇺🤓💪

Step up feeds perfectly into a little line right in between the bush and dirt pile.
Banger Video!!!! Had an AP Physics test a couple of hours ago and was feeling worked, but this made my night!!
definitely a step up it will a great thing for that spot
My 3 year old loves the build lapses!
I'm not a bike fan by any means, but I've been along for the ride ever since the lockdown series. Keep it up, legends!
Pond is my favorite feature yet!! Love it. Respect too man, you be getting shit done!!
Definitely think the Step up would be sick, great work dude!
Well done lads! Epic place coming together very nicely 👍
magic energy this episode ✨
Definitely do a step up with a Lilly pad
Love this series man
Absolutely love the bomb in the pond
Step up for sure😊 and you already have the right hip which is a quater like feature to the right ✌🏻
Love what you do brother so clean came across this when you first started and now I’m hooked not just plan lines these lines are beautiful
For the pond, u should tie/fasten a taught string to the solar panel water jig and a heavy rock on the other end and place it in the middle of the hot tub to make sure it's always in the sun and doesn't get caught up in the shade on the sides!
I need like two episodes this length each day please, thank you
@Officialmattjones_ i text you here, thank you🤘🏼😅
That addition of the fountain to the pond to absolutely brilliant! Mosquito larvae need still water. They are terrible swimmers and hate any sort of current or disturbance in the water. Well done! I am completely in love with this series!
DO A WALL RIDE INTO THE QUATER PIPE!!! KEEP IT UPPPPPPPPPPP! MUCH LOVE!
Get a hand drill water pump, to get the water out the pond easier. Game changer.
