Hey Matt, when you mentioned the pyramids being one of the seven wonders of the world, it made me think, how about building a 'pyramid' jump somewhere? A tabletop with four sides. It could be like a crossroads of two jump lines. Just imagine how sick it would be to get a train of riders alternately jumping it from each line! 🔀
@@reoxoglephic603 you only get better with experience bro 💯 plus riding with better riders pushes you. On my channel I got a vid of the KBR from like 10 years ago. My Asian friend Daisuk was just learning to ride trail at that time. Now he's way surpassed my skill level and travels the world riding comps, just takes time bro ♥️💯💯💯
Matt it’s little heartbreaking seeing you beat yourself up, we all take falls with everything in life, I had a week off work and went back and felt like I could not do anything the same, maybe take a trip to Corby with ben and a few mates and sesh a day out in the foam pit and just throw everything and build yourself back ! Your an awesome rider mate honestly !
Wise words from Ben- love the unspoken encouragement between you two. And the antimachismo- all self motivated victories! Fair play Jamie for clearing that line.
Hey Matt, As you were speaking about possible future drainage issues, I can't help but give you a piece of advice. Find the lowest point of the playground and make that the water collection point for a system of landscaping draintile that pulls water away from all the low spots in the jump lines. You will have to dig trenches and use a large spirit level to make sure you get a good slope on the draintile, but it will be well worth it and you'll have your own water supply after it rains
@@jchrizzy6995 What I'm talking about would involve filling the trenches back up with sand or something more porous than clay and compacting it so everything still looks natural, but it also still safe while directing water away from the jumps. Decent idea though!
Yet another banger!!!! Honestly, this series is keeping me sane while writing my dissertation - thank you, Matt, Ben, and Jamie!! edit: props to Ben for sending it! You really did make the best out of that crash, too - keep it up. And Jamie for absolutely nailing his line!!!
When Ben tries to mess up the fist bump like he does with Matt after Jamie gets through the sideline. The lack of amusement on Jamie’s face is hilarious 😆 massive respect to all of you for what you’ve made and that your testing your limits!
Ben taking nose manuals to a different dimension. Love the videos Matt..cant believe you lads get anything accomplished with all the banter. Heres to episode 12!
15:21 I don't think Jamie was too chuffed with Ben trying to introduce that to their relationship! That 'really?! come on!' meant 'save that shit for Matt!'
Mad props to Jamie, killing it. Bens just a shredder and so chill about it. Also after the new step up it should 180 berm round and step down into the gully and dirt pipe back towards the start. Keep it all flowing.
Not sure if I've said this before, but the level of commitment you guys have put in to this is huge , hats off to you, look amazing well done to everyone involved 👏 👍
Hey Matt you know what would be cool to see for a series is some trick tutorials and perhaps help Jamie and Ben learn some new tricks whilst teaching us viewers too.
awesome vids ago soo soon brother. matt jones sick asf setup off the playground ep11 looking lot more new lines too build on too another new jumps an berms on the playground trail building project track line.
I'm going to getting into mountain biking soon and these episodes pump me up to get to practicing and hopefully building and shredding some jumps! Bang up job with all the builds so far! Here's to many more
*IDEA*: You guys should build a little “hangout area” called the 19th Hole (usually the nickname of the bar/restaurant that golfers hang put after their round). After you had a session on the golf course themed playground, you could chill out in a little place that maybe has some space to hang out with a fridge that has drinks like red bulls. Just a thought. Love the content!
You guys have motivated me to lose a bunch of weight and get back into bike riding. I rode BMX a ton when I was younger and have gained a bunch of weight. I can't wait to see you on the trails.
Another sick video at the playground mate you should hit the step down backwards like you did and cross the main line and build a huge dirt quarter pipe to practice your flairs. 👍🤓🇦🇺
You so need another line out the back of that big berm... that could be a massive step down onto the hill off the berm. Perfect place to split that line up! Keep em coming. I'll just keep dreaming. lol
Matt I broke my shoulder bone and collar bone last Sunday and I’ve been really bored this week but when I wake up and see that you have posted it puts a smile on my face
After the new step up you could build a big 180 berm to do the step up back wards then jump of the landing of the racer jump beforehand then build a landing next to the lip of the racer to go up over the hill into the dirt pipe as you call it
Huck it Matt! You've reinvigorated my interest in single track/tech/huck lines. I believe I'm you making podiums again soon, cause you've re-inspired me to try riding Hardtail Single Track again. Thank you Monsieur Jones!! Stay Buildin!! Stay Huckin!!!!!!
Like the Winter Olympics in china. You should carve brick shapes into the wall jump to make it look like an actual wall. You guys are so entertaining keep it up!! Thanks
Off of the first left hip instead of going left there could be a great like if u went to the right down over the hill great video as always and it's great to see you all ride makes me miss riding
I'd be interested in seeing you guys build a massive quarter pipe after the margarine jump. Something similar to the muc-off one at the compound where you can come back down with some speed and possibly have another line in the same direction as 7:35 . The playground is SICK!
Make like a half pipe like you did in episode 7. Do it at the end of the track to the right. When you jump over the other track, you can use the next jump to jump to the right and go back to the other track. That would look sick and then you can continue on the golf-course line.
It’d be sick to just want a raw video of you just having a general training session for comps at your big compound, doesn’t have to be your usual funny kinda stuff just an all out training with big tricks!! Can’t wait to see you back in comps again!
The top of the step up should lead in a little muster area/ hangout spot. Could put a bench there or some seating so that people could hangout and watch from there while they're riding. Then it could lead into some new trails as it seems to be a bit of a high point in the playground. Also allowing for a start or turn around (maybe throw in a 180 berm) to hit the step up line backwards!
I think you should build a quarter pipe after that step up, then take the step up as a step down and then build an angled landing on the other side of the mainline ( could be cool for tabletops ). Maybe after that kinda hip jump, you could connect the line to the vertical berm, but you won't enter at a great angle in it
Love it thank you for your hard work. You should make one part of the trail gap over another part. We do it w snowboard trails all the time it’s tons of fun to ride w friends
Love the persistence on the hip flair, still look at that hip and think the take off could be 1ft higher. Loving this series though. Ben's sacrifice was admirable too 🍻

Mate that would be sick. 100% nneds to be in the playground.
would also be a good manny pad type feature
Duuuuuude that would be so rad.
Jamie is the man!!! I totally shouted out loud with him when he cleaned the line. Great stuff boys.
Haha same I actually clapped 🤣
Giving this a like mainly for Jamie killin it again 🔥 sick to see someone less experienced alongside a pro. Videos are too good lately 👌🏻
That would kind of make me self conscious if I was Jamie

Would be so cool if they made proper aqueducts and waterways, even just in clay

A tube level is what he needs. And fill the trenches with corrugated drainage tube and fill with 12mm gravel and then re surface.
We need a series on Jamie's progression, great to see him growing in confidence
Jamie smashed it there! So good to see him land his own line.
jamie is the man love seeing him up there
Yet another banger!!!!

Good luck on the dissertation.
best of luck fella, handed mine in yesterday. smash it
Jamie smashed it. Hats off to him. Love to see people on the come up trying new things ✅️✅️

committed to hit the jumps. Awesome🔥

You should build a pit-bike track round the edge of the playground. The old pit bike stuff was awesome.
This needs to happen!!
The pit bike vids were too funny 😂

You may build a proper quarterpipe, but one thing we'll never see here is a handrail. Lunatiks. Love it.
You should make a large gap jump after the step up. You are killing it and looks sick can’t wait to watch more episodes
Jamie with the big improvements!! Congrats to him. You all should put a REDBULL sign or logo on the back of that new step up also!
Love the play ground videos Matt sopre cool 😎

You should make a wooden quarter pipe like at the compound after the airbag that way you can air 180 air it and then use it as a drop
Like the Winter Olympics in china. You should carve brick shapes into the wall jump to make it look like an actual wall. You guys are so entertaining keep it up!! Thanks
Yeeesssss nollie and step up its a simple thing. Also you have built the lip now ride it like a quarter pipe flair it to the grass bank next to it 😉
These playground series videos are so good man.. thank you for your effort guys Im sure we all love watching these... Bless ya legends!
I like this stuff. Please more.
Matt!!! You need to do a 180 disaster to the step up landing edge and hop bar back in. would be the ultimate tech line.
Well done Jamie 🤘🤘

I would recommend doing a large, nearly verticle, wall ride that curves up and down the hill when riding it, after the quarter pipe.
The top of the step up should lead in a little muster area/ hangout spot. Could put a bench there or some seating so that people could hangout and watch from there while they're riding.
