      @@Ssm19494 no I wasn't advocating him drinking I just had a legitimate question if one can be cured from alcoholism. Im trying to get different takes because if you can then the fear of drinking again is eliminated from your mind. Good example. I used to smoke weed everyday as a teenager for about two years. Then all of a sudden I just stopped. I don't fear smoking again because I can take a couple hits and not desire it again. Ive went years without smoking. I was wondering if people had that experience with alcohol.

Years before i quit i found a great video that really helped me along the way, its called '' the power of silence'' by Elliot hulse, i highly recommend it, it makes you think and reflect on your life. That was exactly what got me going, thinking '' What the fuck am i doing with my life?'''
    When you are alone you have nobody to talk to but yourself. You might find some nasty things in there that you don't want to take on. but if you don't, it will eat you from the inside and it will project into the outside world, from experience i can only say, Deal with that shit.

    I'm an alcoholic and I love watching stories of people stopping abruptly to change their life. Of course alcohol withdrawals happen, but don't let that scare you. You could have a seizure if you're drunk constantly but if you have a thought about quitting, then you're not too far gone.

    • @jw9099
      @jw9099 2 года назад

      I've cut down to weekends only. I do feel like having a drink often throughout the week and feel more bothered if i dont but haven't experienced serious withdrawals. I think the motivation for me to get off it is the serious symptoms that can occur when you quit while you're too into it.

    Who wouldn't desire to be resilient and looking new? Certainly, drinking is a great way to unwind and not something which everyone should cut 100% from their lifestyle, but, in Steffon Barkload's homepagw there's an approach that pretty much forces your head to repulse alcohol by simply thinking of it.

    Kind of inspiring to me but also makes me really scared. I subconciously know that i have to stop drinking because i never looked my personal troubles in the eye and realised that i dont drink for fun. I drink to numb my anxiety and boost my confidence because deep down i'm really insecure. Its like a bizarre tug of war in my mind between my sober calm thoughts and the way i will miss how confident and calm i am when i drink. I guess i just have to learn how to achieve that feeling when sober. Dont know how at this exact moment but i hope i will figure it out!

    I'm decreasing my alcohol intake. The sensation of a vice becoming a dependency has been back of mind lately. Creative productivity and hustle becomes obviously diminished. The people you'd die for feel like part of you is dead or dying.

    How have I never seen this video before this story before knowing well and good who Kevin Ross is hell he’s fought many of my coaches!!!! I started training MT around the same age and for years I went the amateur route and then I had a son I raised on my own and for years now I keep saying I’m getting back in the gym but I also took up drinking daily just to shut my brain up and because I have went from so tough to so weak and I just want something that shuts my brain up! I loved sports but never get played for a team was always begged to play! I’m no Kevin Ross but it’s wild the similarities that probably so many of us all have. I need the gym to change my culture back to what it was I was a different man and yet I don’t talk about this with anyone I just hold it all inside and be mediocre instead of the great I know I can be
