Thank you Kristen. It is especially tough when a loved one dies around Christmas because it seems such a contradiction to a time that is supposed to be happy. Best wishes and strength to all those people who are mourning loved ones over the Xmas period.
Thanks for the lovely vlog Kristen! Love your garden! ❤ Your conversation at the end about Christmas meant a lot to me. My mum died unexpectedly on Christmas day 2015. She was very unwell but had been for a long time. It was such a shock that of all days, it was Christmas morning that she left us. Makes the day a very mixed one for me still, despite being surrounded by children and grandchildren. ❤
Loved today’s video, and lovely to see your mum d her siblings. It’s always a bitter sweet time around Christmas, remembering your friends and family no longer around. 🩷🩷🩷
My father used to say that he probably wouldn't live to see the year 2000. He passed away Dec 21st, 1999. He was 71 as well. Thank you for sharing your similar experience. It was lovely to see your mum with her siblings ❤.
Hi, I lost my father on the 10th of december 2008, and yes the Spirit of christmas is not the same when you lost an important member of your family during this period of the year. Big kisses from Réunion Island,I love your country, I love your Channel, beautiful Lady, beautiful fabrics ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Kristen, that was such a beautiful vlog. I can relate to so many things you said. I lost my husband of 56 years in August this year. While I'm looking forward to spending Christmas with my children and grand children, I am dreading the fact that he won't be with us. Thank you for everything you do, Kristen, and I want some of that leopard skin denim so I'll be watching your site in anticipation 😘😘
@@irenegilchrist1512 oh Irene, that was so young! It's never really the same again but the world keeps turning doesn't it? Big Hugs to you 😘 the Ace denim is back online again and it so lovely ❤️
@@thedahliasewciety Thank you Kristen. I may have worded that badly. When I said "my husband of 56 years" I meant we had been married for 56 years. He was actually 83 but seemed much younger. I've ordered the denim and hoping you can hold it for me till Sunday 😘
Hi Kristen that was such a beautiful, candid sensitive vlog. So welcome during a complex time. 🩷🩷
