Lauren Jane Lloyd My friends and I started skiing there when We 12 and are now 50. We each had season passes each year and eventually began to work there in the lodges. We all became very good friends with Chuck and Joann and loved them dearly. When we get together and reminisce of days when we were much younger their names always come up, We miss them. -Eric Albrechtsen

Powder Mountain will always have a spot in my heart. I spent 20+ years working the slopes patrolling and actually met my wife here. It is a great big family! I made many life long friends while here and many more memories. I even had Dr.Cobabe stitch my head up in his office while up on the mountain. Great times and great memories!

i believe the area opened on feb 17th, the same as my birth day, different year though. have skied the bus, the snow mobile, the cat and must say it is one of the toughest access roads to get up on a powder day. one memorable cat day charlie wolff and i skied with phil and a gang and broke the record of most runs in a day.must be at least 6 years ago by now. had to replace one of the guides because he couldn't keep up. i love that place, my favorite place to ski. ill be back to utah and powder mountain to ski the pow with the cat. these old legs can still turn those boards.

In 2020 we took our yearly ski trip out west to Utah. On February 1st my daughter and two of my ski buddies gave Powder Mountain a try. WOW there is no way to describe hands down the best day i had in my 45 years of skiing. We loved everything about it from the skiing the old school charm and the laid back vibe of it all. I was hooked i wanted to move there but being a Canadian citizen it wasnt going to happen😪. We had planned to go back later in the week after hitting a few other places in Utah. But unfortunately after our day at Powder i had a metal door at the hotel rip open my foot putting an end to the season.
I am hoping to be able to ski again and get back to my favorite mountain one day. Its hard to describe how this wonderful mountain has become a soft spot in my heart after one visit. This video had me reaching for a tissue to dry my eyes. Thank you for making this film....

What an awesome place! Can't wait to get there and shred the gnar! Mt bohemia in Michigan has bus pick ups for skiers that ride the extreme Backcountry runs. It's the real deal just like pow mow!

Sadly, Powder Mountain got bought by Reed Hastings: Netflix billionaire. It is about to go exclusive.
