I wear a men's stainless steel bar chain with my brothers name on it Ehmad as he passed away in accident 2 years ago. This is the only jewelry I wear as im 24 (not married). I have read in hadith that imitation of women is haram. This chain however has literally no adornments or anything a women would want. Sometimes i think it is not haram but sometimes i think it is
If you are confused , it's best to avoid rather then get a sin for it , for something is meaningless in your life, bc it's not that important to have a chain or not , he saying don't wear , to protect you , and the more people wear they making the things that was haram to halal in our days ,bc times changes , and bc these stuff don't cuz us haram or a big deal , so it can change
