The Prayers mentioned by name in the Quran are: 1- Salat Al-Fajr (Dawn Prayer) 24:58 2- Al-Salat Al-Wusta (The Middle Prayer) 2:238 3- Salat Al-Isha (Night Prayer) 24:58 Quran is complete. Quran itself says it. Is someone wants to pray 5 times may Allah bless him but we need to stop this idea that you are sinning if you pray 3 times.
1. Allah orders us to follow orders of the prophet (PBUH) The prophet says 5 times. All Muslims have to pray 5 times then. 2. Quran doesn't need to mention them by name. If you can count 5 times, you have to pray 5
Salāmun 'alaykum, brother! I have been a Qur'ānist from April 27th, up to this point. My attention was brought to Qur'ān 62:9, where it mentions the Call to Prayer for Friday Congregation. Now, the only place we can refer to this, is the Sunnah of the Prophet (AS). Furthermore, when I took a closer look at the Contact Prayers, I did find all five in Qur'ān. This took me a few hours to understand LOL! The key is to remember that in the Middle East, sunset begins an actual day (or you will come out with 3,4, or 6 prayers all the time trying to match the descriptions with time frames). Realizing this, then "Salāt ul-Wusta" cannot be noontime, if the Sunset Prayer is technically first in line. Another definition for "wusta" is "best" or "greatest": Be ever mindful of prayers, and of praying in the MOST EXCELLENT way; and stand before God in devout obedience. (Qur'ān 2:238 - Asad) So, beginning with the Sunset Prayer: 1. Salāt ul-Maghrib (11:114): "At the beginning of the day." 2. Salāt ul-'Ishā' (17:78, 24:58): "Rise from thy sleep" + "After the prayer of nightfall." 3. Salāt ul-Fajr (17:78, 24:58) "Recitation at dawn." + "Before the prayer of daybreak." 4. Salāt ul-Zhur (17:78) "When the sun passes its zenith." 5. Salāt ul-Asr (11:114) "At the end of the day." Here, the term "wusta" fulfills its complete meaning: Recitation at Dawn (Middle Prayer) is the greatest and most important of prayers. The Holy Qur'ān (17:78) states, "All that is holy is a witness to it." I hope this further clarifies the Contact Prayers for you, dear brother. The video was a bit confusing for me as well. Jazāka -llāhu khayran!

Praying 5 times a day can be managed by myself In Sha Allah, but the problem I am facing is praying in Jamat at the mosque. I go to the office at 7:30 am and it ends around 4:30 pm. During this time, I pray Zuhar salat & also in the nearby mosque Alhamdulillah. But after returning home I have to pray Asr at 4:45 pm (preparing for salat, going & returning total time requires 4:30 pm to 5:00 pm), Maghrib at 6:00 pm (full time required 5:45 pm to 6:30 pm), and Esha at 7:45 pm (full time required 7:30 pm to 8:30 pm) if I pray in the mosque. But currently, I need to study straight for 4-5 hours daily to learn programming, and IT courses for my career progression. During office time it's not possible and I also can't leave my job! If I start studying at 5:00 pm after returning from Asr salat then after just 30 minutes I have to again go to the mosque for Maghrib & it takes min 30 minutes to 45 minutes to go, pray & return home! Same again I start studying at 6:30 after Maghrib I only have 1 hour to study up to 7:30 pm if I go to Esha at 7:45 pm. I return from Esha at 8:30 pm. So, up to 8:30 pm from 4:30 pm I only studied for 1:30 hours! and often it becomes difficult to get the flow back to my studies, to remember what was I studying it also takes 10-15 minutes to get the flow again! If I pray the prayers in my room then it will take only 10-15 minutes and I think I can manage it easily. Also, I can delay Esha prayer after finishing my studies as it has a longer time period to perform. I want to pray in the congregation as it's 27 times more rewarding! But I can't find out how I can manage this. All the people around me, in my society I see they don't even pray regularly, or pray at home except Jumma prayer. They are doing really well in their career, wealth, social respect, etc. I don't see anyone around me who prays all 5 prayers in the congregation and has done excellent in worldly matters like good job/ business, or social status. Why it's so difficult to pray & maintain a good job, and career progression in the 21st century! For your information, I live in a Muslim-majority country, Bangladesh. I am really suffering from this mental issue and can't find any solution to it! It also becomes bitter when I see other people are making good money like 1.5-2 lacs a month and I am not even near them. I would request everyone to give any feasible solution so that I can pray in Jamat for 27 times more reward and also complete my studies for 4-5 hours daily!
Allah sees and will reward your efforts In Sha Allah, remember this life is nothing but a beautiful lie and as long as your praying your daily prayers and doing right by Allah SWT then you truly are richer than anyone else in this dunya who does the otherwise. Not a single good deed goes unnoticed by him.
@bavaalvines praying 5 times a day does not mean you have a relationship with your god. Everything in islam is designed to give the impression of a pious people following a benevolent god but when you drill down to the core teachings of islam the god is a deceiver the followers do good works for rewards paid in women to be used in heaven and to be honest I am yet to find a muslima that can explain to me what her reward in heaven will be.

Simple. Tell him, it is written in the Qur'an that the complete islam is Quran and sunnah. Why is he only considering the Qur'an? If so, why would Allah send the prophet on us if the Qur'an was enough for all the clarifications? Because The Qur'an is enough, but someone was sent to make it more practical and clear for us muslims. Sir you said everything is not mentioned in the Quran but Allah said I not forget anything to mention in Quran . Allah also said I have explained all things in detailed.
We have hundreds of hadeeths about every detail of how the prophet has prayed. Imagine how much technical and wordy the Quran would be to go through all of that. The Quran is a guide; it's not a manual.
“Establish the contact prayer at both ends of the day, that is, at the adjacent hours of the night…” (11:114) Traditional translators and commentators consider the last clause (zulfan minal layl) of the verse as a separate prayer, indicating the “night” prayer. However, I do not consider this clause as an addition, but as an explanation of the previous ambiguous section. It explains the timing of the ends of the day. The boundaries of “Nahar” (daylight) are marked by two clear points. In other words, the prayers should not be performed exactly after sunrise and before sunset, but before sunrise and after sunset. Furthermore, the traditional understanding leads to the problem of contradicting the practice of this very tradition. Traditionally, both the morning and evening prayers are performed in a period that is considered Quranically as “LaYL” (night), since the layl begins at sunset and ends at sunrise. The word “layl” in Arabic is much more comprehensive than the word “night” used in English. If the phrase “tarafayin nahar” (both ends of the day) refers to the morning and evening prayers, which are parts of “layl” (night), then the latter part of the phrase cannot describe another prayer time.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution, their timing, their bowing, and their prostration, and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 17882
I do have great respect for you but sir haven't you ever thought that Salah which comes 100s of times in Quran didnt say once that you have to pray this 5 times? Allah also says when you visit prophet's home, take permission first, on time and leave soon after eating (33:53) how minor level thing it is but ALLAH have instructed set of rules for all guests who wants to visit their host. But Salah which is a founding pillar of Islam not clear in Quran. Quran clearly defines Inheritance rules, Divorce steps and processes , woman and Zouj rights, Justice System, economic system, everything Quran explain like a crystal and clear form but not saying anything regarding this Namaz that we are doing in the name of Salat. if we contact Hadith then there is no clear set of instructions and hence the ummah got divided then divided in to many sects. Everyone sect quoted Hadith. There is no dispute over Quran as per my research. This is because Hadith was collected after almost 250 years of Hijrat. Alot of thing had been happened in these 2 and half centuries. After 60 years Karbala incident had been happen. Yazid killed Hussain RA and his whole family just because to form his government and established the kingship (malookeyat). What would these people would have done to maintain their kingship ? Hadith was communicated verbally not written anywhere, When Abbasia Government was attached by Halaku Khan and all the documentation of Islamic states till the time including Court decisions, Government circulars, Islamic research work etc was wasted in the river. Then some scholars (all from Iran, no one from Arab) started collection of Hadith and every scholar collected more than 500,000 hadith and rejected 98% hadith (on the basis of his own feelings or intellect) Every hadith we read is I heard this from my father X, my father heard this from his father Y, and He heard from his father and so on... this is 8 generations link. Can we really rely on this ? If this would be important then Prophet himself would have ordered to write. Anyway Now come to the point of 5 tims a day pray. it comes from Hadith when Prophet PBUH visited Mairaj. Quoted below "This is where Allah told Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that Muslim believers were to enrol in prayers 50 times a day. The Prophet accepted the offer but as he was going back to the earth, he met Prophet Moses who advised that 50 prayers were too much for a day. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) went back to Allah and requested to reduce 50 prayers as it was too much. Allah reduced 5 prayers and made it 45 prayers a day. But according to Prophet Moses, it was still too much. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took nine trips between Moses and Almighty Allah and after that, it was finally reduced to 5 times prayers a day. Prophet Moses continued to ask for the reduction in numbers, but Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said that he was too guilt-ridden. Moreover, he is grateful for 5 prayers a day." Now look into it, regarding whom are we talking about its ALLAH, who is perfect in everything. What type of image this hadith is delivering? Allah didnt know 50 times pray is not reasonable ? We like a man being as nothing infront of Allah, we can not give any such targets to our employees, secondly Prophet Muhammad PBUH who is Rehmat ul Alameen, he didnt know this is not reasonable ? he accepted without thinking for while. Such trips made 9 times and then when it came to a point of 5 still Musa PBUH was asking for reduction. In this whole Rivayat there is one personality that is bigger than ALLAH and Prophet PBUH that is Musa, who is prophet of Jews. The chosen one. You're such an intellectual person, don't you try to think critically on this? Its not important if our forefathers are doing any wrong practice this is the same concern that was countered to all prophets. Dot you think we should evaluate is this Salat producing results What Allah promises in Quran ? In Arabic the root concept of Salat is SLW (suad Laam Wow) that means creating tight and closed bonding with someone, it also calls to that 2nd number horse who is running in race closely with the 1st one. Salat is establishing of Islamic system that is given in Quran for that authorities will need to call parliamentary sessions, cabinet sessions again and again. developing rules and instructions and for every instructions or policy keeping Quranic Laws in mind and then take decisions. This is how a state runs, this is what a prime minister or president done today. today same process is there in all Islamic countries and other countries as well but no one considers Quranic Laws otherwise no Islamic state would have been following capitalism. Islam is code of life it has to be encounter with other code of life and economic system like capitalism, socialism, etc. because believer is one who have to implement that system what Prophet Muhammad PBUH did You can visit my channel and specially a video "Why to believe in God what is the relation of Man with God?" I hope this would be helpful, its short video, only Quranic reference is used hopefully you will find it deliverable.
Good question, but think about it, brother. The Quran says, "Obey your God and His Messenger." Allah Ta'ala ordered to follow the words of Muhammad ﷺ. Then the Qur'an covers the whole life of Muhammad ﷺ in one word. Now surely it can be said that the Qur'an dictates and includes the life of Muhammad ﷺ. If you want to obey the Quran then you must obey the words of Muhammad ﷺ. So there can be no reason not to call the Qur'an complete.
Brother anyone can write Hadiths and follow it as the word of Prophet. I believe this is not what Allah meant when he asked to follow the prophet. Different people believe different hadiths. Allah meant to not challlenge the authority of prophet in any of the other matters other than the quran, like waging a war, distributing the wealth , making construction decisions etc. just like how our current Administrative work happens
It's a much more beautiful way to say five, than to categorically mention the number. Besides, God doesn't want us to concern ourselves with numbers, He wants us to be pious and obedient.
Read Surah 2: 67-73. Think about how the Children of Israel were pedantic and kept on imploring Allah to reveal the very specific details regarding His command. Whereas, look at the example of Prophet Noah (alayhi'ssalam) in Surah 11: 36-48. He wasn't given specific instructions on how to build the Ark, but he didn't question God. He figured it out on his own (Of course, building a boat of such a huge size, wouldn't have happened without effort. He would've needed a team of engineers and have needed the raw materials) Because he knew piety and obedience is more important to Allah than pedantry and expressing doubts regarding Allah's command.
To clarify Quran the complete book doesnt mention 5 times prayers but only 3. please Educate me where does it in Quran it mentions how to pray, what to say during prayers, ruku, Sajda. can you please provide me the Ayats, Quran only please.
SubhanAllah Wal hamdulillah Wa la ilaha illallah Wallahu akhbar May Allah SWT guide those who reverted to Islam, to the true teaching of Islam and being obedient Muslims, will grant them and all the Ummah with a place in Jannah. Aamiin🌙🕌🤲💕

So Allah can tell us he will forgive pimping your slave but not how to pray in the Quran. We are supposed to be made for worship yet Allah doesn't teach us in his book. Doesn't make sense
The verses you recite to indicate 5 prayers a day do not indicate prayers (swalat). The verses do not even contain the word swalat. The verses are about praising Allah. The Quran ordains only three prayers. The names of three prayers are also given in the Quran.
Shaikh Zakir What is the word meaning SALAH ? It does not mean Persian word NAMAZ ? Root word of Salah = Sad Lam Waw it is not Ritual prayers… If you say Obey We do . Do You mean Obey Mohammed (pbuh) He is no longer in this world. We obey Rasool which is a Message which exists till the End of Time . Quran is the Best Hadith..
So how do you conclude there are five prayers?
If you are quoting this verse, in this verse if you take prayer ( in Arabic salath) not thasbeeh ONLY TWO you can find. The continuation of the verse is about reciting Quran in the morning.

This liar says everything is not mentioned in the Quran. Following prophet doesnt mean we have to believe anything which is said in the name of prophet. Following Prophet meant in those times because the Prophet was not only a messenger but also a Military Commander, A Judge, Managing the Finance etc. So hence Allah said not only with respect to the Quran but you should follow Prophet in every matter in which he holds the authority. This is the reason Prophet and neither his companions never wrote a single hadith. Every hadith was written after several years after his passing away from this world. And this has led to several factions within Muslims.
Please why do we pray by sayings the tahana follow by surah al fatiha and saying other things which are not mention in the Qur'an and saying the tashahhud did the prophet pbuh also say ash -hadu an ala ilaaha illallaha wa ash hadu anna mohammadan abduhu wa rasooluhu did the prophet say this while praying to Allah?

There is no zuhor, asar and magrib prayer in the Quran. Allah did not say we pray 5 times a day. May Allah guide us to the right path. Hadith are written by traditional scholars 230 yrs after the death of the prophet and cannot complete those narrators which are already dead.
It is clear that the salats, the way these are mentioned in the Quran do not look like mandatory five times a day. Based on Hadiths which were compiled & collected more than 200 years after the prophets’s death are used to argue about five times salat in the Quran. Then again, being one of the five pillars of faith or rituals, these aren’t clearly stated in the Quran to avoid confusion, whereas many trivial issues like bearing of wives, & Prophet’ personal life are discussed in the Quran. In absence of any written Hadiths, most of the Hadiths were compiled through oral statements from the people, most of whom were already dead. Quran itself states that Allah made it easy for the faithfuls to understand & follow. But in the case of Salat this is different. Dr Zakir Naik should avoid inventing stuff that aren’t clearly stated or unclear in the Quran. Another issue to consider is to date the verses on Salat in the Quran to examine if these were before or after the Prophet’s travel to Meraj when the five times prayer in the Quran have been revealed!
that is great but please dont boast about it like "im this young and i do this". Its great brother but please dont be arrogant about it. Do it for pleasing allah not for the praises of others
The problem is, quran was compiled 100 years after the death of Prophet Muhammas. At that time there were no pen or paper to write. Its all from memories...
Sir, as muslim we firmly belive that ingeel sharif is kitabulla. At the sametime we also belive that ingeel sharif has lost it's purity because of mens' lntervention in to it. Incase of lslam are we not doing samething in a different way by following manmade hadit inmost cases in our religious activities bypassing kitabullah, the Holli qursn? The Quran speaks of three positions to be observed during the Salat, they are: Standing, Bowing and Prostrating. The following verses confirm that the Salat starts in the standing position: You shall maintain the Salawaat and the Salat Al-Wusta, and stand devoutly obedient before God. 2:238 O you who believe, when you get up to observe the Salat, wash ....... 5:6 So the angels called out to him while he was standing, praying in the sanctuary: "God gives you news of John, confirming a Word from God He will be honourable and celibate, as well as a prophet, from among the righteous." 3:39 And if you are among them and you lead the Salat for them, let a group of them stand with you and let them hold on to their weapons. 4:102 After the standing position comes the bowing and prostrating: We appointed for Abraham the location of the House: "Do not associate anything with Me, and purify My House for those passing by and those standing, bowing, and prostrating." 22:26 Muhammad, the messenger of God, and those with him are stern with the disbelievers and merciful amongst one another. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking favour from God and consent. 48:29 The Salat ends with prostration: Then once they have prostrated, let them be positioned behind you and let another group, who has not yet observed the Salat, observe the Salat with you while remaining cautious and while holding on to their weapons. 4:102 The words 'once they have prostrated' indicate clearly that prostration marks the end of the Salat, after which a new group comes to observe their Salat in the place of the first group. There is no mention in 4:102, or anywhere else in the Quran, that the believers should follow prostration by standing once again and repeating the cycle. ------------------------ These three Quranic physical movements (standing, bowing and prostrating) are not required during the times of emergencies, fear, and unusual circumstances: If you fear, then on foot or riding. Then once you are secure, remember God as He taught you what you previously did not know. 2:239
Funny how he says the number 5 isn’t mentioned in the Quran but slanders Christians for the Trinity doctrine because the word “trinity” isn’t mentioned. What a joke.
Oh hey, witty comeback. Aren't you just sharp as a marble! 'cause to you, it seems, the ambiguity of a prayer ritual's time/quantity is on the same level as ontologically confounding a monad and a triad, or worse a lack of recognition for categorical separation. If you're going to make an effort to attack at least make your argument consistent, dimwit.
And btw he's lying, surah 11:114 says "Establish prayer ˹O Prophet˺ at both ends of the day and in the early part of the night." Notice that the both ends of the day are sunrise and sunset and then it talks about night... but what about afternoon and noon prayers??? Yet he claims at 1:55 there's 3 night salat 😮 but no mention of afternoon and these sheep just follow along because they're misguided
The truth is that the hadith culture have overtaken the Qur'an..... And there are many stories to make up for all for it.. But in truth hadith books are full of contradictions...
If this was already contained, mentioned or revealed in the Quran why did the Prophet had to do the burak mirage to the heavens to negotiate the numbers of prayers which was sanctioned by prophet Musa when it was reduced from 50 to 5? Shouldn’t it be explicit in revelation such that it leaves no room for different interpretations and meanings?
Wrong!!! in sura Hud, 114 Allah explicitly points out 3 times. Al Isra, 78 also 3 times; surah taha 130, it repeats pointing 3 times; Sura Ar-Rum, 17, 18 says evening, morning, afternoon and noon. Contradictions in the Quran lol

30:17 فَسُبْحَـٰنَ ٱللَّهِ حِينَ تُمْسُونَ وَحِينَ تُصْبِحُونَ ١٧ So glorify Allah in the evening and in the morning- 30:18 وَلَهُ ٱلْحَمْدُ فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَعَشِيًّۭا وَحِينَ تُظْهِرُونَ ١٨ all praise is for Him in the heavens and the earth-as well as in the afternoon, and at noon.[1] [1] This verse outlines the times of the five daily prayers. The evening refers to Maghrib and ’Ishâ' prayers, the morning refers to Fajr, the afternoon refers to ’Aṣr, and noon refers to Ẓuhr.
Word FIVE is not there at all. But it is SUNNA of prophet, no question about this. So 5 prayers have been practiced by all sects ---- SUNNI and SHIA. So numbers of Salat is agreed upon by all.
He needs to study QURAN before he comments on it. Big difference between Nabi and Rasool. GOD said in the QURAN that Rasool has been sent on major communities. There is Khatam-e-Naboowat not Risalat. No where did I read "Attiullah -o-Atti o Nabi.
Reference to Ch 20:130, justification for 5 times a day can be established but it doesn't seem to fit the timing of our salah i.e how can zohar salah be called as the salah at the ends of the days.
"So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied." Sura Ta-Ha verse 130 Here, it's said to pray before the rising of the sun, which is the fajr prayer, then before it's setting i.e the Asr prayer. Then the periods of the nights indicate both Maghrib and Isha because the day ends when the sun sets and the night starts. As for the end of the days, it can be said it's zuhar since it's somewhat close to maghrib's time. Since everything isn't mentioned directly in the Quran, Prophet Muhammad S.A.W clarified those things in the hadiths. Now, here are some other verses, Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah , devoutly obedient. -- al-Baqara 2:238 And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. -- Hud 11:114 O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. -- an-Nur 24:58 Verse 1 tells us that there is a middle prayer which means there are at least 3 prayers and doesn't mention the exact number of prayers. Verse 2 tells us that during daylight (the time gap between fajr and maghrib) we have 2 prayers (duhr and a'sr) and one when the night approaches (al-Maghrib) (see also this Fatwa): With (only) this information it's still possible that we only have 3 prayers, but Verse 3 which teaches us about the resting times mention clearly the fajr/sobh prayer and the I'sha prayer as the fajr itself is a not mentioned time in the 2 Verses before we find out we really have 5 prayers mentioned in the Quran! Now we find we have 5 prayers or prayer times mentioned in the Quran.

Quran say to follow or do something and Hadit explain how to follow or do that thing.. Islam is complete just follow Quran and Sunnah.. Quran (3:32) "Say: ‘Obey Allah and obey the Messenger.’ If they turn away from this then know that Allah does not love those who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger".
@@Ox1326 Brother look at the context. Hadith simply is the teaching of prophet Muhammad PBUH which goes along with the Quran so that no one can interpret the Quran wrongly
@@XxClasherxX1 If Hadiths are the word of Allah, then who is sheikh Albani and other sheikhs to say this one is sahih and this one is daif. The Christians did the same thing with the Bible. They say some of it are false (for ex: Mark 16 9-20).

Thank god i can read the quran my self and see that he is using man made books like Hadith to claim his 5 times and if you actually read your self u see it is not 5.
@Naaba_Hussein1 exactly we should not follow hadith as it came after 200 years of Muhammad (saws), which is not authentic...these hadiths are hand made book by collecting from several people after 200 years Muhammad (saws) left. we should follow Quran only. Have a look on sura2: ayat 78 to 79 and sura 3 ayat 78 then you will come to know about Hadith that these hand made books shouldn't be followed...
Quran is sufficient but for those in doubt you have prophets examples to turn to. If this many people are confused as to whether 3 or 5x prayer is a must just turn to authentic hadith for guidance. He was sent to us to be the best of example according to Allah. Here is what I know is: Hanzala al-Asaydi reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution, their timing, their bowing, and their prostration, and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.” Source: Musnad Aḥmad 17882 Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Mundhiri This is Sahih Hadith! If you're unaware as to what this means you must research it. Therefore, I arrive to conclusion that to follow the best of all Muslims, Muhammad PBUH, I must pray 5 times per day.

You are a half knowledge person.... just giving statement is easy. Quran + Hadith = Islam. Quran says to pray only ... Hadith explains in detail how to pray. If every detail is in Quran it would be 100 books.
Allah says Qur'an fully explained ,that is also Zakir naik too tells ,Qur'an tells to obey Allah and obey rasool . That means allay says obey rasool too and rasool says pray 5 times ia a day and night (24 hours)
The Prayers mentioned by name in the Quran are:
1- Salat Al-Fajr (Dawn Prayer) 24:58
2- Al-Salat Al-Wusta (The Middle Prayer) 2:238
3- Salat Al-Isha (Night Prayer) 24:58
Quran is complete. Quran itself says it. Is someone wants to pray 5 times may Allah bless him but we need to stop this idea that you are sinning if you pray 3 times.
1. Allah orders us to follow orders of the prophet (PBUH)
The prophet says 5 times.

Another definition for "wusta" is "best" or "greatest":
Be ever mindful of prayers, and of praying in the MOST EXCELLENT way; and stand before God in devout obedience. (Qur'ān 2:238 - Asad)
So, beginning with the Sunset Prayer:
1. Salāt ul-Maghrib (11:114): "At the beginning of the day."
2. Salāt ul-'Ishā' (17:78, 24:58): "Rise from thy sleep" + "After the prayer of nightfall."
3. Salāt ul-Fajr (17:78, 24:58) "Recitation at dawn." + "Before the prayer of daybreak."
4. Salāt ul-Zhur (17:78) "When the sun passes its zenith."
5. Salāt ul-Asr (11:114) "At the end of the day."
Here, the term "wusta" fulfills its complete meaning: Recitation at Dawn (Middle Prayer) is the greatest and most important of prayers. The Holy Qur'ān (17:78) states, "All that is holy is a witness to it." I hope this further clarifies the Contact Prayers for you, dear brother. The video was a bit confusing for me as well.
Jazāka -llāhu khayran!

Quran is not complicated. Allah did not meant Quran to be complicated for Muslims

@@AliAli-o5q3sgo read 2:238 it talks about five prayer
Not a single good deed goes unnoticed by him.

may i ask did allah say in the koran that the hadith is protected ?
2 ends of day are morning and evening.. fajr and magrib! And night prayer is isha. Not agree with dr.'s explanation
Could you please explain the verses 17:78 and 11:114 and 2:238 ❓
zakir nail is perfect but not of all time,,,,vague explanation
What a genius man,Muslims if u want knowledge came here, but if you don't have knowledge please do not debate
“Establish the contact prayer at both ends of the day, that is, at the adjacent hours of the night…” (11:114)
Traditional translators and commentators consider the last clause (zulfan minal layl) of the verse as a separate prayer, indicating the “night” prayer.
The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution, their timing, their bowing, and their prostration, and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.”

This isn’t in the Quran. These are Hadiths! Hadiths can’t be equated with the Quran!
I do have great respect for you but sir haven't you ever thought that Salah which comes 100s of times in Quran didnt say once that you have to pray this 5 times?
Allah says in Quran if you give some money write it down and make some people as witness.
Anyway
Now come to the point of 5 tims a day pray. it comes from Hadith when Prophet PBUH visited Mairaj. Quoted below
"This is where Allah told Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that Muslim believers were to enrol in prayers 50 times a day. Moreover, he is grateful for 5 prayers a day."
Now look into it, regarding whom are we talking about its ALLAH, who is perfect in everything.
Islam is code of life it has to be encounter with other code of life and economic system like capitalism, socialism, etc. because believer is one who have to implement that system what Prophet Muhammad PBUH did
You can visit my channel and specially a video "Why to believe in God what is the relation of Man with God?" I hope this would be helpful, its short video, only Quranic reference is used hopefully you will find it deliverable.
Well Said
Can you please guide me which translation u follow ?
Qur'an is complete
Hadiths are the detailed information and description of the same.
He's de@d now how can I obey his speeches
In the Quran Salah is mentioned 62 times, but does not mention 5 times.
true
When Allah will ask you in the hereafter,
why did you 5pray ritually,?
Will you say it is in bukhari which was written 200years after prophet
To clarify Quran the complete book doesnt mention 5 times prayers but only 3. please Educate me where does it in Quran it mentions how to pray, what to say during prayers, ruku, Sajda. can you please provide me the Ayats, Quran only please.
SubhanAllah
Wal hamdulillah
Wa la ilaha illallah
Wallahu akhbar
May Allah SWT guide those who reverted to Islam, to the true teaching of Islam and being obedient Muslims, will grant them and all the Ummah with a place in Jannah.

Can you explain the error in calculating the islamic prayer time at the North / South Pole of the Earth?
If fajar is night salah then can we take sahari in ramadan up to the end of fajar salah time?
🤣🤣🤣logic i am dead🤣🤣🤣🤣
All the surahs he mentioned say end of the day end of the night and during the night
Can someone send me a link to the bukhari Hadith I couldn’t find it Barakallahu feek
Bukhaki is corrupted.Only follow Quran.
In 17:78, Allah declares
So how do you conclude there are five prayers?
If you are quoting this verse, in this verse if you take prayer ( in Arabic salath) not thasbeeh ONLY TWO you can find. The continuation of the verse is about reciting Quran in the morning.

What is starting of the day according to islam Quran...Fajr or Mahrib
This liar says everything is not mentioned in the Quran. Following prophet doesnt mean we have to believe anything which is said in the name of prophet. Following Prophet meant in those times because the Prophet was not only a messenger but also a Military Commander, A Judge, Managing the Finance etc. So hence Allah said not only with respect to the Quran but you should follow Prophet in every matter in which he holds the authority. This is the reason Prophet and neither his companions never wrote a single hadith. Every hadith was written after several years after his passing away from this world. And this has led to several factions within Muslims.
Hadiths were written even when he was alive. You need to do some research on how Sahih Al Bukhari was made.
I can’t find the hadith of Sahih bukhari vol 1 hadith no 42 at 3:40
May be he forgot the number there are lots of hadiths are there..
Sir assalamualaikum,I am really sorry to you 😢without proper knowledge,I commented something wrong, please forgive me,I checked in the Quran prayers time you are,100 percent right,Allah bless you, thanks
"Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger" sounds like a partnership..but isn't that Shirk? 🤔

Interesting. If everything is not mentioned in the Quran, then how come Allah is claiming that the Quran is fully detailed and He hasn't left anything out of it?

@@harrisgila Thanks for your response.
Where did Allah explain how to 'praise and glorify' Him? How did it become the ritual contact prayer?
Where did Allah mention the rakaats in the Quran?
@@wahabkazim3782 he didnt! The religion is perverted with dogmatic worship! Where DEFINITELY in the end times and u shall seek Allah within your own hearts and not by following imposters!
There is no zuhor, asar and magrib prayer in the Quran. Allah did not say we pray 5 times a day. May Allah guide us to the right path. Hadith are written by traditional scholars 230 yrs after the death of the prophet and cannot complete those narrators which are already dead.
So what do you say while performing the salah?
I love to pray namaz and read quran Sharif mashallah 😀😀😀😀😀at the age of 10 years when I am in 8th class
that is great but please dont boast about it like "im this young and i do this". Its great brother but please dont be arrogant about it. Do it for pleasing allah not for the praises of others
The problem is, quran was compiled 100 years after the death of Prophet Muhammas. At that time there were no pen or paper to write. Its all from memories...
Not 100 years, It's 20.
Where there is huge difference of opinion among islamic scholar on Hadith. In such case how to know which one is sohi Hadith &which one not.

There were companions, There were Tabieens and Taba-Tabieens who transferred such things to lattter generation and those were written....For ur idiotic information, I would also like to add that these hadiths were never written as it is, they were verified numerous times and their sanad (chain of narrators) was frequently checked and it was checked if someone is professional lier or someone in the narrators had bad memory to tell, and accordingly the hadiths were classified into sahih, hassan, zaeef, marfoo and mursal hadiths... And they have verified narrators the number of times before transferring them to us through 6 Authentic Hadith Books....Now if u being a Shite, wants to remain idiot and remain in darkness; I can't do anything... How is it possible that Allah has asked us to pray salat and not mentioned us how to perform it ?
Buddy did he not send his messenger prophet Muhammad may peace be upon him
Because he wanted you to follow the messenger pbuh
@I if he just told us or just showed us heaven or hell then how this world would be a test
@@HAROONKHAN-ku6gm Because our last prophet was Muhammed SAW which saw hell and heaven and even more! after he's gone, we will live without seeing anything like that and that's why he sent us Quran which came from Allah SWT. but if you for example look at the sun you should realize how it's not falling.
The Quran speaks of three positions to be observed during the Salat, they are: Standing, Bowing and Prostrating.
The following verses confirm that the Salat starts in the standing position:
You shall maintain the Salawaat and the Salat Al-Wusta, and stand devoutly obedient before God. 2:238
O you who believe, when you get up to observe the Salat, wash ....... 5:6
So the angels called out to him while he was standing, praying in the sanctuary: "God gives you news of John, confirming a Word from God He will be honourable and celibate, as well as a prophet, from among the righteous." 3:39
And if you are among them and you lead the Salat for them, let a group of them stand with you and let them hold on to their weapons. 4:102
After the standing position comes the bowing and prostrating:
We appointed for Abraham the location of the House: "Do not associate anything with Me, and purify My House for those passing by and those standing, bowing, and prostrating." 22:26
Muhammad, the messenger of God, and those with him are stern with the disbelievers and merciful amongst one another. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking favour from God and consent. 48:29
The Salat ends with prostration:
Then once they have prostrated, let them be positioned behind you and let another group, who has not yet observed the Salat, observe the Salat with you while remaining cautious and while holding on to their weapons. 4:102
The words 'once they have prostrated' indicate clearly that prostration marks the end of the Salat, after which a new group comes to observe their Salat in the place of the first group. There is no mention in 4:102, or anywhere else in the Quran, that the believers should follow prostration by standing once again and repeating the cycle.
------------------------
These three Quranic physical movements (standing, bowing and prostrating) are not required during the times of emergencies, fear, and unusual circumstances:
If you fear, then on foot or riding. Then once you are secure, remember God as He taught you what you previously did not know. 2:239
Thanks for your program 🎉
Funny how he says the number 5 isn’t mentioned in the Quran but slanders Christians for the Trinity doctrine because the word “trinity” isn’t mentioned. What a joke.
Exactly!
Nice one 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh hey, witty comeback. Aren't you just sharp as a marble! 'cause to you, it seems, the ambiguity of a prayer ritual's time/quantity is on the same level as ontologically confounding a monad and a triad, or worse a lack of recognition for categorical separation.
If you're going to make an effort to attack at least make your argument consistent, dimwit.
And btw he's lying, surah 11:114 says "Establish prayer ˹O Prophet˺ at both ends of the day and in the early part of the night."
Notice that the both ends of the day are sunrise and sunset and then it talks about night... but what about afternoon and noon prayers??? Yet he claims at 1:55 there's 3 night salat 😮 but no mention of afternoon and these sheep just follow along because they're misguided
The truth is that the hadith culture have overtaken the Qur'an.....
And there are many stories to make up for all for it..
But in truth hadith books are full of contradictions...
A sha Allah dearest dear Dr mullah Zakir Niak Jaan ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
If this was already contained, mentioned or revealed in the Quran why did the Prophet had to do the burak mirage to the heavens to negotiate the numbers of prayers which was sanctioned by prophet Musa when it was reduced from 50 to 5? Shouldn’t it be explicit in revelation such that it leaves no room for different interpretations and meanings?
😂😂 true. These liars have made a different religion altogether
Dr saib why the time specific for the 5 times prayers in a day ?
Wrong!!! in sura Hud, 114 Allah explicitly points out 3 times. Al Isra, 78 also 3 times; surah taha 130, it repeats pointing 3 times; Sura Ar-Rum, 17, 18 says evening, morning, afternoon and noon. Contradictions in the Quran lol

Five Namaz were imported from Zoroastrians and then were validated through forgery of Hadith of Flying Horse Buraq. That Namaz is 100% Idol Worship = Shirk in which Sunni and Shia prostrate to Kaaba which is made of Stones,
*Can you show me any verse in Quran which ordains we Muslims to prostrate to Kaaba during Salat? You cannot find. Now question is: Who were those Mushriks who blended this Namaz Pooja-Pot in Islam?*
God says, His Book is fully detailed 6:114 ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ مُفَصَّلًا , and Complete for Islam 16:89 وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ ٱلْكِتَـٰبَ تِبْيَـٰنًا لِّكُلِّ شَىْءٍ but we do not find even number of Rakat of five Namaz Pooja-Pot in Quran. The reason is: because Salat is not Namaz.
2:177 tells us that Namaz is not a Good deed but Good deed is to be a Muslim, and then be a Philanthropist >> serve your parents, family, relatives, needy, disabled, poor, wayfarer and much more ...

Word FIVE is not there at all. But it is SUNNA of prophet, no question about this. So 5 prayers have been practiced by all sects ---- SUNNI and SHIA. So numbers of Salat is agreed upon by all.

"So be patient over what they say and exalt [ Allah ] with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night [exalt Him] and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied."
Sura Ta-Ha verse 130
Here, it's said to pray before the rising of the sun, which is the fajr prayer, then before it's setting i.e the Asr prayer.
Now, here are some other verses,
Maintain with care the [obligatory] prayers and [in particular] the middle prayer and stand before Allah , devoutly obedient. -- al-Baqara 2:238
And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and at the approach of the night. Indeed, good deeds do away with misdeeds. That is a reminder for those who remember. -- Hud 11:114
O you who have believed, let those whom your right hands possess and those who have not [yet] reached puberty among you ask permission of you [before entering] at three times: before the dawn prayer and when you put aside your clothing [for rest] at noon and after the night prayer. [These are] three times of privacy for you. There is no blame upon you nor upon them beyond these [periods], for they continually circulate among you - some of you, among others. Thus does Allah make clear to you the verses; and Allah is Knowing and Wise. -- an-Nur 24:58
Verse 1 tells us that there is a middle prayer which means there are at least 3 prayers and doesn't mention the exact number of prayers.
Verse 2 tells us that during daylight (the time gap between fajr and maghrib) we have 2 prayers (duhr and a'sr) and one when the night approaches (al-Maghrib) (see also this Fatwa): With (only) this information it's still possible that we only have 3 prayers, but
Verse 3 which teaches us about the resting times mention clearly the fajr/sobh prayer and the I'sha prayer as the fajr itself is a not mentioned time in the 2 Verses before we find out we really have 5 prayers mentioned in the Quran!
Now we find we have 5 prayers or prayer times mentioned in the Quran.

Are you translating Quran according to evil Tasreef-e-ayat (taking Arabic words to perssian and translate them) method??
So the Answer is
There is no # 5 I am correct?
correct
Quran say to follow or do something and Hadit explain how to follow or do that thing.. Islam is complete just follow Quran and Sunnah..
Quran (3:32) "Say: ‘Obey Allah and obey the Messenger.’ If they turn away from this then know that Allah does not love those who refuse to obey Him and His Messenger".

Here is what I know is:
Hanzala al-Asaydi reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever guards the five prayers, their ablution, their timing, their bowing, and their prostration, and knowing they are the right of Allah over him, then Allah will forbid him from entering Hellfire.”
Source: Musnad Aḥmad 17882
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Mundhiri
This is Sahih Hadith! If you're unaware as to what this means you must research it.
Therefore, I arrive to conclusion that to follow the best of all Muslims, Muhammad PBUH, I must pray 5 times per day.
Zakir says 'Two ends of the day is Zohr and Asor'. What a logic. Lol
Seems this question was send by the so called Quranic group.
If the five daily prayers were in the Qur'an then why did the prophet go to the heavens for prayers again.
Because there is no such thing in reality days of prophet . It was narrations that prescribed to prophet.
@Anti-Mainstream NOXČI
Quran Alone.
Obey allah obey messenger not bukhari and his written which means Hadith is an idea forced on islam believer by force shariya law

He is the One who sent to the gentiles a messenger from among them, to recite to them His revelations, purify them, and teach them the scripture and wisdom. Before this, they had gone far astray. (62:2)
God thus explains His revelations for you, that you may understand. (2:242)

I think u must require to understand Arabic Quran becoz Surely u need to be Complete anything from the Quran and must hug Other books to prove yourself in right way.
I say Astaqfaru Allah ''Everything is not mentioned in the Quran said by Dr. Zakir Naik!
Allah says Quran is fully explained and deatails why are you preaching wrong thing I was follow you but now I don't..many things goes against Quran...
You are a half knowledge person.... just giving statement is easy.
Quran + Hadith = Islam.
Quran says to pray only ... Hadith explains in detail how to pray.
If every detail is in Quran it would be 100 books.
@@cresent1 Qur'an and sunnah is islam. Not Qur'an and hadith
Allah says Qur'an fully explained ,that is also Zakir naik too tells ,Qur'an tells to obey Allah and obey rasool . That means allay says obey rasool too and rasool says pray 5 times ia a day and night (24 hours)
@@cresent1GOD + SON + FATHER = THRINITY
ALLAH + HADIZ + SUNNAH = SHIRK
Nothing wrong with the explanation.
