Even in his death, people are continuing to find this video and hear his testimony. The Word of God does not return void and Josh's testimony is still changing lives. I'd say that's the beautiful way of the Gospel.
Fervent prayers are needed for this man of GOD… last week he suffered a brain aneurism and is in critical conditions in ICU in Nashville… doctors say he is brain dead but we know different…. We are to “speak those things that are not as though they are.” Please don’t lead these young ones in the faith astray. I just watched your video from 7 months ago...it really touched my heart. I probably cried as much as you did, maybe more, because I could see your heart gratitude for the Lord and your struggle to hold back the tears! As a female, I experienced so much just like you. The enemy delights in distorting God's love into perversion and abuse. Even after becoming a Christian, I kept trying to put a woman in my life. Always willing to take second best, rather than whatever the Lord had for me. So grateful for Jesus never giving up on me...I fell so many times, mostly because of my own rebellion and stubbornness. In I Samuel 15:22-23 rebellion is called as the sin of divination/witchcraft, and stubbornness as iniquity and idolatry. That was kind of eye opening!! I finally hit a brick wall in a very abusive, destructive, demonic relationship and gave up. I surrendered my life to the pure, tender love that the Lord wanted me to have from Him. There is so much freedom, peace, and unshakable joy that comes from that surrender...like the song you mentioned, Jesus take the Wheel. It truly is such a relief to let go of our lives and allow Him to direct our path. It's not easy, there are plenty of lessons we continue to learn, some pretty painful, but worth it to grow closer to Him. I think, forgiving myself for the many stupid decisions I made before truly letting Him direct my life, has been one of the most difficult and painful things I've gone through. So many wasted years...but like you said, had you not gone through what you did, you wouldn't have the gift of ministering to others struggling with the same things you'd gone through! And you were exactly right, children NEED the Godly affirmation from their fathers. Boys learn how to be good men and what kind of wife they want by how mom cares for her husband, and girls learn the kind of man they deserve by seeing how her father treats her mom. I just came across this and I know that Josh has just went to be with Jesus. This so touches my heart. I am not gay but I struggle with addiction to pain medication and I can truely say the fear of laying them down is so bad because of the pill sickness I will go through. I to was raised in church in the pentecostal faith so I know about Jesus and I know about the Holy Spirit and I do beleive that I can be delivered from this addiction. I have been through more than anyone should ever have to go through, as a little girl I was sexuslly abused by my own father and also some family members so from a young girl I always felt as though I wasn't anybody and because my mom took us to church I was always afraid to tell anyone and it made me feel like Jesus didn't care. As time went by and I grew up I was always looking for a way out so I chose the worst guys to date most of them only wanted me for one thing and I was just searching for someone who might love me. I first married a man who was 9 years older than me because I got pregnant he married me and he was an alcoholic so he never cared about me so when that relationship fell through I found someone else who was the worst man I could have ever met. I got pregnant again with my son Josh and little did I know that that man was going to try to kill my son, he was 9 days old when his father picked him up and shook him so hard that his brain hit his skull which caused Brain damage and many other problems. That child is 33 years old now and I have been dealing with him having seizures for most of his life. I love him more than anything, he is my life. I have since forgave those who sexually molested me _es even my dad but I struggle with forgiving my sons father because everytime I watch him have a seizure the devil tries his best to keep me in hate for that man, not to mention thinking I need those pain pills to deal with it all so tell me how do I get through this I'm tired and I know by now God is probably already gave up on me. I need prayer if anyone would be willing to pray for me. I want to be set free from all of this if God would truely do that for me but im not even sure how to get there.
Heavenly Father, in the power of Your Name and through the power of Jesus'blood, deliver Ellen from this drug oppression. Jesus is her High Priest and with Jesus and Yourself by her side, she has the strength within herself because Greater is He who is in Elle than that addiction. Stephanie , it's true that it doesn't make any difference to God in his love for you, but he wants to lead you out of lesbianism into his freedom. He loves you with an everlasting love and he wants you to live in the freedom of his love. I was in a lesbian relationship due to all the reasons that Joshua is talking about. I had no affirmation from my father as a child , so I didn't know how to relate to men, but women were safer and easier to get along with. So very happy to hear this today. I have an ex-sister-in-law who is “married” to another woman. Both her father and mine were Pentecostal ministers and she had a relationship w God for years, but she and her partner have been together 25 years. I am praying for their deliverance. They have cousins who are homosexual, and had a great aunt who pastored a Pentecostal church. I know God is able, but never knew anyone w a testimony like Josh. Joshua wanted to be free, it sounds like your friend doesn’t want to be free from homosexuality. God is not going to override the will of that person. You need to be praying for their salvation first.

I am legally blind so I am very dependent on my friend. I pray everyday that I will find a male or female Christian that I can grow spiritually with and able to depend on because of my disability.

Kent is Joshua's dad. Josh is presently in the hospital after a brain aneurysm. Regeneration Nashville and many, many people have been praying God will raise him up! From the report given in a comment on this thread just a few hours ago, the damage to his brain is only partial. Though he is still unconcious, he's getting physical therapy and other treatments, and he is responding very well! God is definitely working in a mighty way in Josh's life and the Christmas family. I to was raised in church in the pentecostal faith so I know about Jesus and I know about the Holy Spirit and I do beleive that I can be delivered from this addiction. I have been through more than anyone should ever have to go through, as a little girl I was sexuslly abused by my own father and also some family members so from a young girl I always felt as though I wasn't anybody and because my mom took us to church I was always afraid to tell anyone and it made me feel like Jesus didn't care. As time went by and I grew up I was always looking for a way out so I chose the worst guys to date most of them only wanted me for one thing and I was just searching for someone who might love me. I first married a man who was 9 years older than me because I got pregnant he married me and he was an alcoholic so he never cared about me so when that relationship fell through I found someone else who was the worst man I could have ever met. I got pregnant again with my son Josh and little did I know that that man was going to try to kill my son, he was 9 days old when his father picked him up and shook him so hard that his brain hit his skull which caused Brain damage and many other problems. That child is 33 years old now and I have been dealing with him having seizures for most of his life. I love him more than anything, he is my life. I have since forgave those who sexually molested me _es even my dad but I struggle with forgiving my sons father because everytime I watch him have a seizure the devil tries his best to keep me in hate for that man, not to mention thinking I need those pain pills to deal with it all so tell me how do I get through this I'm tired and I know by now God is probably already gave up on me. I need prayer if anyone would be willing to pray for me. I want to be set free from all of this if God would truely do that for me but im not even sure how to get there.
Heavenly Father, in the power of Your Name and through the power of Jesus'blood, deliver Ellen from this drug oppression. Jesus is her High Priest and with Jesus and Yourself by her side, she has the strength within herself because Greater is He who is in Elle than that addiction.
As an act of your will, receive complete and total freedom because whom the son sets free is free indeed.
Please repeat the following outloud: I choose to loose from my soul, all addiction of this drug, all anger, all unforgiveness, all fear, all grief, all misunderstanding, all offenses, all hate, and all fear.
As an act of my will I now bind to my soul God's life, His love, His , His Joy, presence, and the plans and thoughts You have for me, I bind them to my soul.

Stephanie , it's true that it doesn't make any difference to God in his love for you, but he wants to lead you out of lesbianism into his freedom. He loves you with an everlasting love and he wants you to live in the freedom of his love. I was in a lesbian relationship due to all the reasons that Joshua is talking about. I had no affirmation from my father as a child , so I didn't know how to relate to men, but women were safer and easier to get along with. So very happy to hear this today. I have an ex-sister-in-law who is “married” to another woman. Both her father and mine were Pentecostal ministers and she had a relationship w God for years, but she and her partner have been together 25 years. I am praying for their deliverance. They have cousins who are homosexual, and had a great aunt who pastored a Pentecostal church. I know God is able, but never knew anyone w a testimony like Josh. I am grateful he had the boldness to share his story. God bless his precious family.
Joshua wanted to be free, it sounds like your friend doesn’t want to be free from homosexuality. God is not going to override the will of that person. You need to be praying for their salvation first.

Kent is Joshua's dad. Josh is presently in the hospital after a brain aneurysm. Regeneration Nashville and many, many people have been praying God will raise him up! From the report given in a comment on this thread just a few hours ago, the damage to his brain is only partial. Though he is still unconcious, he's getting physical therapy and other treatments, and he is responding very well! God is definitely working in a mighty way in Josh's life and the Christmas family.
