I was on the Allure when this took place!
It was really Amazing! They summoned all of the passengers to the deck just before sunrise to film this. It was Allure of The Seas Madden Voyage. It was a Brand new ship and at the time, it was the largest in the World!!

We were Filming the Adam Sandler Movie "Jack and Jill" so the entire Cast and Crew were all on board and we began filming the movie right after this display!
What a memorable time!
I was one of the actors in the film.
12 Days at sea. We had the entire ship to ourselves along with celebrities and their families, actors, background extras and film crew. Partied all night and filmed most of the day!

The Oasis is an amazing ship, I was lucky enough to go on it when it was still known as the largest cruise ship in the world.

Actually, life boats aren't required on these ships. They're so large that when the when bottom of the ship is resting on the sea floor, the top few decks are still above the surface of the water.
Oasis and Allure are cruise liners Titanic and Olympic are ocean liners

Does anyone know why there a difference in front of the 1st lifeboats, the oasis has a fin deflector shaped piece of metal below the metal grid and the allure has an open space in front of the lifeboat and no metal fin. i heard the oasis lost a lifeboat in a storm so why did they not put the metal fin on the allure at the ship yard?
Allure is 2 inches bigger that's why its the largest ship in the world.

Took our honeymoon on the allure , its massive. Since then I've cruised smaller ships and prefer them to the allure. Less people and better service . I also prefer ncls free style atmosphere, no need to dress up unless you really want to. More of a relaxing vacation to me. Nothing against the allure, its interior is beautiful and lots of things to do. I'd like to try the harmony if the price is rite.
