So the US is specifically very car centric due to oil lobbyists in the 50s and large automobile corporations decided to destructure local intercity rail and many cross country destinations. So basically we were all manipulated into the whole car = freedom thing and now we're seeing the comsequences of horrible urban design
That isn't why lol. It's because we are a MASSIVE country, having freedom with transportation is life changing and saving for people. There is no way I could afford other people to drive me and all of my children around every single time I needed to leave the house to drive 40 minutes away just to get milk, eggs, bread.
@corablah9809 that could all be accomplished with a well funded public transportation system. We used to have the rail infrastructure before it was torn down for freeways. Plus public transportation will reduce the amount of cars on the road. It's a win win for everyone. True freedom is being able to travel with or without a car.

Okay so I'm a transwoman (considered passable and attractive like Trevi is) in NC, and I relate so much to the defeated feeling Trevi has. I always thought it was because I was in the south, but nope it's a similar situation everywhere. And you'd think being passable would makes things easier, but it actually makes things stressful because it makes you second guess every moment you have with a guy (if he's into you cause he can tell you're trans, or he doesnt know and then you have to tell him which could lead to rejection or worse)
So, I get people complained about the previous lighting on the set (I liked it personally) but the white background on Trevi is a bit jarring when the shot switches between them. Am I alone in this thought? I liked the warmer tones. Kate's side of the background is nice.

the first step to transitioning as a mtf is respecting other women and their bodies , and that trevi does. she isnt going to be respectful 100% of the time when she feels people don’t deserve it (nobody is… that’s a human thing not a trans thing) and people shouldn’t be being transphobic at all and her apologizing shows that she has respect. love her
