Vulnerable moment here; Trevi you just made me cry talking about your sobriety story & rehab. I relate soooo much and the way you just described it really brought me back to those mornings at rehab making coffee and smoking with the older folks (with so much wisdom) then spending the whole day working on yourself. It’s like another dimension. I have been sober for 3 years and just moved to a bigger city in Missouri (not LA but a step up from where I was) 😂 Thank you both so much for creating this platform

I have a topic, and this directly pertains to something going on currently in my life and I’m just curious what you girls have to say. Basically I had this roommate for about 6 months, she had moved from a different state completely and started fresh because she used to be an addict (like when you drop your phone and there’s a ____) anyways fast forward to us having to move in with her boyfriend and his housemates bc we were looking for a new place together. Context for this is I basically went to every inspection, I found all the places, I did all the applications while she was getting high (didn’t know at the time) and this was for a good 2 months. Then one night were sitting in my car and she’s drunk, and she told me she had started using again and hadn’t been able to stop for 2 months. At this point I told the guy I was seeing and he let me stay with him for a bit to get away from it all. Basically every night I had been staying at my boyfriends her or her boyfriend would be fighting and they’d call me to break it up, and I just got so exhausted of pulling them off eachother, literally. Not to mention she had made me keep the fact that she was using a secret to her boyfriend, and I was just terrified that he’d wake up next to her and she’d not be breathing. So I set a boundary, and I said I can’t be friends with you not because I hate you it’s because I love you and it hurts to much to be around you knowing you’re literally tweaking. Since then I’ve heard many different iterations of how that went down in her mind, she thinks I abandoned her, which I guess I did do. I struggled a lot at the start with guilt and I saw and heard things that’s she was doing and how bad she had been getting mentally and with the drug use, it all felt like if I hadn’t left her she wouldn’t have done those things. But now I hold basically 0 guilt for it because instead of telling people we just fell out, she just made it out that I was a terrible friend that left her when she was really struggling. Anyways, I’m not a great writer or storyteller but I wanted to ask you guys if you have gone through anything similar and would you have done the same or would you have gone about it differently? P.s I love the show, my favourite thing to do on my days off is binge all of them for the 10th time while playing video games ❤❤.
