Recently I saw a video by Sarah Mack, the ninja swipe. And I loved the process and outcome. I needed to try it as well! I still don't know what my thoughts are about this painting, it's so different. But this acrylic pour method is a lot of fun. Am I a good ninja? 😂😍 haha!

I am an acrylic pouring addict, without a doubt. Playing with colors, testing out new fluid art techniques, brands, sizes & collaborating with other abstract fluid artists; is the best. Since I started this journey I feel more balanced in my work and passion. If you see these fluid painting tutorials and feel like, this is something for me: go for it! The fun thing about fluid painting is, that even though you do exactly the same, the outcome is different everytime. Also everybody has a different view of composition, colorcombinations and the way of doing a technique, what makes and keeps it so interesting to watch. It looks like an abstract squid and has Beautiful colors and movement. I like it.

Sarah flicks the paint, really. When she does it the paint takes flight into the air and then lands across the canvass producing an entirely different effect than what is here. Here, all the swipes are more like dragged through the entire way. It is still pretty, but not like how Sarah really swipes it. It looks entirely different. I've also never seen her add more paint in a different puddle to it. I haven't seen all her ninja swipe videos, though, but I have seen most of them at this point. I definitely liked this one a lot once it was turned around. It does look like a dove! I absolutely LOVE the blue painting hanging on the wall toward the right (or right) of the set. That is stunning!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!!!
