Hi guys! Thank you so much for being here 🥰
Today I'm working on a 18'' x 24'' (46 cm x 61cm) canvas.
Strangely enough this style goes back to my very first RUclips video, I did a bloomswipe with a ninja swipe in that one too. I wasn't very brave back then though and didn't flick the paint around too much lol!
Pillow/base:
British Paints low sheen house paint in White and a splash of GAC 800
Colours:
Atelier Interactive Dioxazine Purple
#TLP (This Little Piggy) Pigments in Twinkle
TLP pigments, swiping tools/spatulas, silicone stir sticks and silicone pour mats can be purchased from fluid-art.co/
Golden Iridescent Gold Fine (Heavy Body)
Boyle Colourshift Royal Lilac
Boyle Colourshift in Aqua Green
All of my colours were mixed with untinted house paint and Jo Sonja varnish.

Cell Activator/CA:
Atelier Titanium White with a very small blob of Golden Cobalt Teal (heavy body) added and mixed with Australian Floetrol. I never measure ratios, I mix until it leaves a slight trace when drizzled from around an inch above the surface.

My lazy susan is glass and 20'' which was purchased from Coles supermarket, they can also be sourced from variety/dollar stores. The heavier the spinner, the easier it will spin, I'd also suggest you get the largest one you can so you can easily use it for larger substrates too.
My metal spatulas are artist pallet knives, they can be purchased from fluid-art.co/ or independent art stores.

I love the colours and I can also see a crane dancing a beautiful design. Our Christmas was a bit spoilt here and some of the family had to isolate because of Covid and our Sydney family were unable to visit. I am hoping to see our youngest granddaughter soon. I do see a trumpet flower but, I see a storm dancing with its wings outstretched when you look at it horizontally. Gorgeous colors and they play so well together. I love dioxazine purple! I have to keep myself from using it every pour. My new obsession is prism violet from Liquitex. I think it's because it's a tad plum purple. I also love Lukas Cryle (spelling is in serious question 😕) Indigo...it works great with metallics. Wonderful painting Niki!😊🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was hoping you would lift that small blue-green bar shape and stretch it out to see if there were more colors hiding underneath. I see a prehistoric bird with gangly huge wings and a skinny neck and head. 😆
