I actually have a question about this "perfect" laning phase. If you're in a situation where you're the opponent, how can you break this cycle so it becomes neutral again?
@@Thar1979 You can't. Garen was not in control of the wave at any moment. If you wait for every wave under your turret, Yone can just slow push and you lose a lot of xp and gold. When the wave crashes, it will bounce back, so there won't be much opportunities to farm under tower.
If the enemy top can solo kill you and has control over the waves, you are completely fucked unless your jungler comes. They will always have a tempo lead and can use that to starve you of cs or kill you more. This is sort of my issue with Alois videos, he solo kills his opponent every low elo game with hands diff because he's playing against low elo people, then of course he can starve them out with tempo leads. They also never seem to get jungle help either. With evenly matched players you aren't going to be getting solo kills and full wave control every lane phase so you aren't going to be able to do what he does with evenly matched players.

Moments ago, I won a top lane against someone playing way longer than me because I looked at the time and saw it was "6:05, 6:15, there's a plant waiting for you in the river." and crashed a wave in the tower and ate up the plant and got the kill. Just came to say thanks.
Very helpful, but could you make a guide in a high elo game? Most enemies in your shorts and videos seems like they are not above emerald. I'm a Riven OTP myself, I usually win my lanes but i struggle to keep my tempo and carry my team after laning phase
He just killed the Garen and was strong enough for Garen never to be able to contest him again; At that point you just wanna push your lead instead of trying to drain your opponent further Taking jungle camps, tower platings, or looking for skirmishes/ganks when you have tempo for example
The wave just reset, so it's in neutral position, you can't freeze a wave that's in neutral. For a freeze to happen you need to have less minions than your opponent, so the wave will push into you. Garen's only option there was to shove.
well your plat cuz your game knowledge is very low. theres not many champs that can fight yone early on and scaling also is nutty.. yone is overtuned right now maining this gives you an easy time to climb see results in worlds.

Yone is same category... and then you probably still mess up quite a few games cuz your not mechanically sharp its sure a grind but I could never play like 200 games garen straight so I need this hard champs in the game. U have to realize how much u can take before you die etc. But like I can guarantee you mechancis arent good if your in plat I used to think that myself too. Yone mechancis arent as hard as riven Id say but like spacing is more important as you ahve to use your stuff to dodge while still in q range etc. If you want to improve fast spamm it, blind pick, dont care about counters and when ever you loose check your mistakes and watch a replay of how a pro approaches this matchup, good luck!

my issue with solo que is Smurfs like this exact game. I swear the most tilting games are the ones like this where there is a 20+ kill lane bully smurff who just 1v9s and takes the fun out of league for the rest of us. I've been on both sides of this with the Smurf on my team and theirs and both are not really fun.
I'm really enjoying those videos but I always question myslelf if it works as tanks. Most of the times I am weak side with a champ that scales rather that has dmg early on and I can only watch and hope that my team doesnt int before I reach my spikes. Having 1 item vs the enemy adc who has 3 and now is in my lane is often the case. Not sure how I can win those games.

Try it in practice tool, slow push the wave it crashes, only last hit, itll bounce back, once its in front of ur tower, youll have to "trim" (kill acouple cs) else ur wave dies to fast or you need to hold it yourself from crashing into your tower, goodluck
if your team is up and your minions are stronger simply bait him to auto you but don't auto him back in an exchange once or twice. This will draw your minions to attack him and not to his wave. This damage difference will make it that his wave never stopped hitting yours, but yours stopped hitting his, meaning it will push to you if you last hit correctly. Another thing you can do is bait a bad trade on your part, but creates a situation where their AOE spells push the wave. This will work great in mathcups like tryndamere into malphite (walk in, don't hit him, he'll do e w q combo, takiing down a big chunk of the waves health and you simply e out drawing no aggro), camille vs trynd (walk in, bait a auto attack q, and simply e out making him hit the whole wave with spin) As you can tell most of these situations are because you are either even or in a bad matchup. If it is even, they will have some confidence to push you in, but you hold the wave by trimming it and keep in your happy spot. If bad matchup, going even is always a win as he states in his kayle matchups, so if you bait spells but don't get too low, it is always worth. However freezing isn't always the best especially if you're ahead and most definitely if your whole team is. You can create more pressure and gold making opportunities by them being under their turret, than you being in yours. This means you're in a proactive state, rather than a reactive state. You can invade their jgler, proxy a wave then recall putting you in a high tempo state, roam to another lane, take crab, all while he has to farm wave under tower. This is greatly matchup up dependant to make it easier, but if you play better, skill can put you in the situations of lane dominance. He has always said, freezing is great to get an advantage, but if you think you have a high chance of creating a bigger gold and level difference by pushing, then it is fine. You can do this if you have jgler knowledge, pathing, what champs are good early/gank potential, what jglers like to afk farm, and at what seconds in the game jglers are idle to gank. Most jglers are free after first clear which is 2:30 minutes to 4 min depending on how slow or fast clear speed is and whether they skipped camps or full clears. Just know that if no one dies in between those seconds, most likely the jgler recalled and is heading back to where he started his clear because those jg camps will be up first. This is another timing you can be safe to push. Also, know your champions limits as several champs can 1v2 with a 2 level lead on jgler and laner somewhat half health or no damage. You will one shot jgler after baiting their dash, then simply kite till your CD's are back up and contest the laner. Levels are extremely important and the biggest power spikes that people don't expect. Especially in the lower elos.

Serious question, why after you crashed at around lvl4, you continue pushing instead of backing and not touching the minions as you told the Yone in the last Kayle vid? You know the Jarvan is pathing top side and you are on weak side, 1 gank could lose you the advantage over Garen though
I think he was looking for a certain amount of gold, 1100 I believe for the berserkers. Though even if he didn't he is able to punish garen if he walks up to cs and the wave is bouncing back to him, so there's no risk of being ganked without garen making super obvious.
In my case winning the top lane is not an issue most of the time, it's having other four people to know how to click buttons on their mouse and keyboard xD

I just had 24/1/8 game against jax with 2 trollers in my team, Riven+fundamentals is soo good but I had AT LEAST 1 troller everygame in my last 7 games and I can not deal with it they just feed and leave, I went from emerald 4 to plat 3 :)
Some weeks ago, i wouldve doubed u, saying u get perma trolled and inted in emerald, since im masters + and didnt deal with emerald. But holy shit, this is elo hell. It took me Like 20 games to climb to emerald with insane winrate. But as soon as i reached emerald 2 climbing got impossible. It’s insane. Elogains are redicolous. +21 -28/29 with a 65% winrate 😂. It took me 80!!! Games to climb from emerald 2 to Diamond. Every game gets surrenderd, Even when im 2 items ahead on every enemy teammember. Everyone has maincharaktersyndrom and nobody wants to be carried. I legit had a Game, where my Team just started ff votes, but before the rest could press yes, enemy team surrendered allready. Score was Like 15/15. I will never play an emerald Game again. In dia it was super easy again. +30 -20 i played Like 30 games to masters. Just be happy you are in Plat again, even if its worse in elo. The games are 10x better from my experience. Stay strong Bro, even 350 Masters irelia onetrick cant Carry Games in this bs elo.

A gm player wont make the same mistakes as the Garen this game so he wouldnt be able to show how to capitalize on his mistakes.. But sometimes Alios does go a bit hard on the bm (which i dislike when someone is smurfing)

Not sure what you're asking here but you really shouldn't freeze a lane in hopes of a gank. Your objective on a freeze is to deny resources and put them in a situation where you have kill pressure. This is when you're ahead or have matchup advantage. When you're behind, keeping it in the happy spot keeps you safe, but ideally you want to be the one applying pressure, not holding a stalemate, but bad matchups are a thing. Ultimately you should never hope a gank comes as if you apply fundamentals correctly, the enemy jgler will never come top due to the wave state in your safe spot essentially making it a 1v1, in which you play your power spikes, and if you're the better player, you'll win. Better team is uncontrollable, better player is.

Well his jungler did not gank him either.. Its not about your jungler ganking, you can always ping your jungler when you see him on your side of the map a bit before your freeze or during, if he ganks lucky you, if he doesnt keep bullying on your own 😁 And if you do it well, enemy jungler will maybe waste time on your lane and that's 10 times better because your jungler will do whatever he wants in the other side of the map even if they int Forget you have team mates man you are playing with runeterra creatures :p

He has a tierlist of champs to climb with, they're all pretty high up in it

I just had 24/1/8 game against jax with 2 trollers in my team, Riven+fundamentals is soo good but I had AT LEAST 1 troller everygame in my last 7 games and I can not deal with it they just feed and leave, I went from emerald 4 to plat 3 :)
Some weeks ago, i wouldve doubed u, saying u get perma trolled and inted in emerald, since im masters + and didnt deal with emerald. But holy shit, this is elo hell.
It took me Like 20 games to climb to emerald with insane winrate. But as soon as i reached emerald 2 climbing got impossible. It’s insane. Elogains are redicolous. +21 -28/29 with a 65% winrate 😂. It took me 80!!! Games to climb from emerald 2 to Diamond. Every game gets surrenderd, Even when im 2 items ahead on every enemy teammember. Everyone has maincharaktersyndrom and nobody wants to be carried. I legit had a Game, where my Team just started ff votes, but before the rest could press yes, enemy team surrendered allready. Score was Like 15/15.
I will never play an emerald Game again.
In dia it was super easy again. +30 -20 i played Like 30 games to masters.
Just be happy you are in Plat again, even if its worse in elo. The games are 10x better from my experience. Stay strong Bro, even 350

For me dia was way easier cuz ppl dont refuse to get carried and are less likely to grief purposely

A gm player wont make the same mistakes as the Garen this game so he wouldnt be able to show how to capitalize on his mistakes.. But sometimes Alios does go a bit hard on the bm (which i dislike when someone is smurfing)

To be honest that GAREN played horribly. What is this elo? He did not have basic understanding of wave Management nor wave state. He went for trades where he safe died without reason
first tip is to play against emeralds as a virgin challenger who spends 24/7 on this game
Sadly these dont count in my elo.I can freeze all game and my jungler wont come for a gank.
Not sure what you're asking here but you really shouldn't freeze a lane in hopes of a gank. Your objective on a freeze is to deny resources and put them in a situation where you have kill pressure. This is when you're ahead or have matchup advantage.
When you're behind, keeping it in the happy spot keeps you safe, but ideally you want to be the one applying pressure, not holding a stalemate, but bad matchups are a thing.
Ultimately you should never hope a gank comes as if you apply fundamentals correctly, the enemy jgler will never come top due to the wave state in your safe spot essentially making it a 1v1, in which you play your power spikes, and if you're the better player, you'll win.
Better team is uncontrollable, better player is.
@@MiguelMartinez-xs3cx Obviously when enemy dies and doesnt have tp I crash the wave under tower unless im low hp but you need to crash it fast otherwise enemy may set up a freeze.I think that my style of play is way too much team oriented while in SQ it shouldnt be this way,I rely too much on my teammates thats why I cant climb up the ladder.
Well his jungler did not gank him either.. Its not about your jungler ganking, you can always ping your jungler when you see him on your side of the map a bit before your freeze or during, if he ganks lucky you, if he doesnt keep bullying on your own 😁
And if you do it well, enemy jungler will maybe waste time on your lane and that's 10 times better because your jungler will do whatever he wants in the other side of the map even if they int
