Bruh people like you kinda make me upset… Iron giant is perfectly fine in the game because of these reasons ⬇️⬇️ He has a very large hit box.. it’s very easy to make him soak up alot of damage.. meaning that it’s way more easier to knock him out the stage His enormous build makes it very hard for players to attack the enemy’s.. He can’t run and his attacks are very slow meaning that it almost makes it a fair fight His attacks can’t even hit the enemy sometimes…. Players can hit him while he is even doing a canon ball and a air attack!!!!!! It’s basically impossible to hit anybody sometimes.. So please leave iron giant alone…

I think iron giant was created to be a gun because when he entered the battle mode his bump recovered+ like Allen tsai said the creators (of the movie) pitch was "what if a *gun* had a soul, and didn't wanted to be a gun?"
In the Movie we actually see a brief scene where we can see he comes from an alien species of sorts that destroys planets so yes he was created to be a weapon but chose not to be one cause he saw what weapons and guns truly accomplish which is nothing but death
idk, he's pretty good, the problem is any high combo capable character with a ranged attack can just dodge and destroy, however He's still really strong just need to be patient with him
What that dude in the last clip said is literally what most of the higher level players do to me ,being an iron giant main. as big as the giant is he is slow and can’t catch up to his opponents easily having to rely on an enemy’s aggression to be able to to damage to that enemy. I beat most players with him but then you get that rein-dog that camps on the other side of the arena shooting a constant stream of project tiles that is nearly impossible to dodge due to his slowness and size after I tried chasing the rein-dog, or a Harley that just turns you into combo food. My main gripe with him is that his rage is super easy to counter in solo, whats supposed to be his trump card just gets you killed because the only close courters attacks he has are a kick and stomp with no amour, his rang is amazing in rage but once they start landing a combo and get you into the air your done for.

Literally been playing 1v1 against my high tier iron giant friend for him to just constantly get to 220% and not die after making so many mistakes. Idk, the health is OD. I can punish all day but man will kill confirm at 120% and I gotta wait an extra 100% with right build
I honestly think great fundamentals make Iron Giant a good character. He consistently deals top damage and tanks more damage than any other and does not struggle to KO. If you can dodge attacks and respond accurately, you will find he becomes as strong at high level as he is in mid levels. There are, however, matchups that are exceptions to the rule, due to bad game design. I hope they fix those issues. When they do, nothing can stop Giant from competing for a tournament win. It just takes a really good Giant player. Hell, maybe I'll get there myself. I'm top 400, been top 100, and am only improving, beating people I would've thought were tournament level players. Give it a while, let the Giant metagame develop, let people get good and maybe we'll see some Giant wins.
