Born in 88, as a millennial I've gone full circle. Remember when feature phones like Nokia 3310 were amazing and cutting edge. Then Smartphones came out. We had no idea how much they were gonna change the world. We all obsessed in the "theres an app for that" days of the early 2010s. Now im utterly sick to death of it and am going back to a feature phone. Social media and smartphones are screwing us up big time. We need that boredom that comes from waiting in line for a couple of minutes or sitting in traffic. Far too much of these little dopamine hits are rewiring our brains. Im 35 now and trying to train my brain to be like it used to be after years of smartphone abuse. Im pleased to see a lot of Gen Z starting to fight back against all this digital addiction.
Hi Anthony, yeah I was born in 1995 so I was in school when I saw the iphone come out and by the end of high school so many had iphones or atleast an ipod touch. I would hate to be a teenager in school now with social media and judgement of others, be what it is nowadays. It is nice seeing a small miniority of people fight back. It's definitely a start and most people seem to be better off saying no to these things.
At least we can make changes like these to take back control and look after ourselves. My concern is the increase of things being mandatory that relieves us of control and has us under more surveillance. P.s. also you were a younger man before mobile phones and the internet probably a more free time with less responsibilities. I’m sure it was a better time 😂👍🏻
I for one have taken the first step. I deleted facebook at the end of Easter. And the more time I spend away from it, the more Im thinking I may never go back.
I am a smartphone user but I dont take out my phone every time I need to wait 10-20 Minutes. Sounds like this is a personal habbit problem you created by starting to take your phone out everytime you need to wait a few minutes, not a problem the phone itself makes you to create. You can have those times of boredom while owning a smartphone. Just get used to not take it out everytime you have nothing to do. At first you may need self control, but once you get used to it, you will naturally not take your phone out every time.
I am currently trying to decide between the TCL Flip Pro and the Alcatel Go Flip V myself...I am tired of my touchscreen issues w/my MotoOne, the low battery life and the brightness level needing to get messed with everytime I go inside, outside, if it's cloudy out, etc but definitely want a better keyboard too...keep making mistakes multiple times a day cuz the letters are too close together...
born in 2000. I remember how obsessed I was with the iPhone when I was like 10/11. I completely resent it now, I want to make a switch to a dumb phone for sure lol. Sure I could delete all social media on my iPhone but I don't really trust myself to stick with it to be honest.
Hi Mark, if you think you can't trust yourself then you can always try a dumbphone, they are fairly cheap so you can always go back if you need to but try at least 30 days if you can. Thanks for watching 👍🏻
that's exactly how i feel, i tried to delete it many times from my normal phone but it just doesn't work. i'll definitely buy a dumbphone (it looks way more cool also)
I have a flip phone which doesn't have any wifi capabilities, just text and calls, and I've been living with it my whole life. Everything's working around smartphones, especially when you're living in a city. But I'm still alive and living fine. I never checked the weather. People think there's something wrong with me. They think my decision to not have a smartphone is pointless. But I know that I'm better off not having a distraction machine rather than spending hours scrolling tiktok and instagrams every day. I'm very confident & pround with my decision and I'm planning to keep it that way.
Good for you, Eric. I have a flip phone too. I also have a land line and plan on keeping it. Today people seem to have no idea how to live without a Smartphone.
@@brynne77 So true. I think most people don't even use their smartphone as a "phone" anyways. They use it as a social media scroll device that you can get yourself distracted anywhere 24/7.
@@Eric-qi9us You may be right about that, that many might use it as a social media scroll device. As for me, I never did get online with my Smartphone so I never understood the urge people had to get online with it. I did text on mine a lot, though. That got addictive. I eventually got over that. Right now I'm responding to this using my laptop.
@@wicked1still I’ve thought it out, and the only thing that may be difficult without a phone is navigation, making important calls, and accessing banking (and even then, there are ways around all of those). Other things like social media accounts or email accounts may be difficult to have because they typically encourage some form of authentication that usually involves another device, but most people don’t technically need social media or email to exist day to day. Some people may need email for work, but if you can get around the two factor authentication, then you could simply just use a personal, work, or public computer. I’m considering a “dumb” phone or no phone in the future.
I have never owned any cell phones. I am either at home or at work where I have a land line. If I am anywhere else, I do not want to be disturbed by people. All it takes is a little bit of pre-planning to determine how to get to a location or.... heaven forbid, reading a map. I still tell people, meet me at address x\y @ a specific time if I must connect with a person. One day I may own a regular mobile phone for emergency situations, but so far, I've gotten this far in my life (60 yrs old) without a cell phone, why change it.
I bought a Nokia feature phone when I had to get a screen replaced. All was great until I was drunk and the tubes had finished. I'd also just moved house and was unsure what transport went to my new location. I walked up Oxford Street looking at each bus stop for ideas. Then I got off somewhere I thought was near and then followed the road signs to my location. Took a fair while but it was like being back in the 90s :-)
Banking apps make trips to the bank necessary. WhatsApp for work and personal life are a requirement here. If you can lock down your phone, rip out RUclips, block streaming apps and social media then it's a lot less addictive
I was one of the first to walk around here with a mobile phone and looked at strange by people. Now I don't use a cellphone any more and people look strange at me.
I got sick and tired of social media. Absolute nonsense. So I use my Pixel 5a for communication with real people, navigation, online banking, music and other tools apps.
they want that smartphone in your head to take over you, i ditched it all in 2008, on the verge of ditching the net altogether with this sht going on, i always leave my dumb phone at home too, i don't want a phone either, as they ruin relationships.
There's some useful stuff in the net, such as weather and online shopping for things you really need, like car or appliance parts. There are also useful podcasts.
Bought a dumb phone, it's been a week now and I am not regretting AT ALL. If you want to test it and think you can't because of any reason, give it a try. If you plan it well (transfer your data, passwords authentification and accounts to your computer) it will be okay and you definitely feel a bit better, more alive than before.
I just bought an iPhone 8 and I’m liking the size of it because I have small hands. It also reminds me of older iPhone models and on top of that it reduced my media consumption because watching a movie, playing games, scrolling on social media is not that enticing compared to using my larger screen size phone. I have no problem with contacting my friends and family because I can still download messaging apps and text them when I need to. Plus it has good camera too compared to dumb phones.
Im 41, and while I am somewhat addicted to my iPhone, I did 2 things that have done me some good. The first was shutting down my Facebook account for good 2 years ago (yay quit social media before I turned 40 lol,) and another good thing I did was get rid of my Apple Watch and went back to a good old fashioned traditional analog watch, was sick of having to charge the Apple Watch every day etc, and sick of it distracting me with wrist taps, so in a sense it’s out with the new and back in with the old. So in short I may still get anxiety without my phone, but at least I have made some small steps to slowly disconnect a little. :)
This video was really well done and I like how it incorporates elements of storytelling to make your point. I think I need to get a dumb phone now myself! On a side note, I found your RUclips channel after hearing you and your wife on Ramit Sethi's podcast. I just wanted to say that money isn't the only measure of a good creator. Great storytelling and creative expression are worthy metrics to consider too, and you've got both! Hope you take this comment as a reminder that you have achieved something here on RUclips! Cheers man.
Thank you that means a lot, and you are completely right, I do need to bare all that in mind when evaluating myself. I'm really happy you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching 👍🏻
Cool vid! I haven’t used social media, ever. I’m watching RUclips for 5 hours a day, though. 95% of the time, it’s on my phone. I like that I can move around and watch the same video, but all this time is just being sucked away.
That's impressive to never have used social media, I promise with all the pressure you may or may not feel, it really is not worth it. It does sound however that the time you spend not on social is just all on RUclips and you are right, RUclips can be equally unhealthy.
Many phones have a way to set time limits on certain apps. I've set myself a limit of 30 minutes a day. And while I do often end up giving myself extensions, it has definitely reduced the overall usage.
That’s 76 days a year you spend on RUclips. They have become an immoral business and in my opinion as harmful as tobacco companies. I’m 5 hours a day too so I’ve ordered a dumb phone and look forward to getting my life back. Shame RUclips - you’ve lost what made you great.
I'm 35 got two little ones 4 and 6 years , I've been threatening to get rid of my ball and chain sorry " smart phone " for years now , I am right on the edge of doing it as the amount of times I have heard my little ones calling my name to show me something and I was watching some meaningless RUclips vid is unreal tbh I feel guilty and I realise life goes quickly and I want to enjoy as much time with them as possible before they grow lol , I have like you been leaving my phone in the house for the past few month's on certain days and it feels great in a mad way , I am fine with just having a use of the laptop in the evening , I am a map addict I admit so that's one thing I can't live without 😅 I do a lot of cycling so i am figuring to just use my bike portable nav when needed and a brick phone for emergencys ect anyway great video and you have a real low key funny way about you mate keep it up , 🙏 here's to a smart phone less future 😂
Hi Michael, I can relate to your story a lot I have 2 children (1 and 2 years old) and I too get caught in those moments of being distracted by RUclips. I am glad you are taking a brick phone with you whilst cycling ( you cannot go for a bike ride without a way to contact for emergencies). Thank you for watching the video, I'm glad you enjoyed it, I appreciate that. I will let you in on a secret though, I have recently bought a smartphone again and in my next video I'll be talking about why I got one and how I am using it differently to before. 👍🏻
My good fellow. They are small for so short of a time. After a while it is you chasing them for a bit of attention. I encourage you to do exactly that. Give them your time. not the corporations.
I read much of the comment section and I may have all of you beat. I have a flip phone. I don't get online with my phone like many do. I use it to make phone calls. I don't even text. I get my email and get online on my laptop at my house. Many don't know what to think of me since I don't text but I"m proud of not being a texter. Much less addictive.
It's so nice! I'm a Japanese writer. My name is mikan oshidari(忍足みかん)! Due to my smartphone addiction, I switched to a dumb phone for my mental health. I'm publishing about it. I'm interested in the fact that dumb phones are slowly gaining attention again. I had a severe smartphone addiction. I even went to a psychiatrist! It's convenient, but it's not good for your mental health. Damphones are comfortable. People think it's a thing of the past and lame, but for me it's a cure-all for smartphone addiction! I think. I want the popularity of dumb phones to come back even more!
I use a Nokia + iPad combo as a gen Z person....sometimes I need the smart stuff for school, but other times the iPad is off in my backpack and I am using the Nokia as the main. My specific Nokia also has Hotspot and 4G capabilities, but the browser is really bad. I use the Hotspot to connect my iPad when needed, otherwise just go with the Nokia. It already is such a cumbersome process that I only do it when absolutely necessary (which actually works) :)
Im old but I made a conscious choice to use technology on my terms. I generally dont take my phone with me everywhere I go, mostly i take it when im going on a long drive so I can stream spotify or make a phone call. I think phones have become too intrusive in our lives and they make us waste a lot of time. I dont know how one would do banking without a phone now though considering they text you passcodes.
Here's an idea. Buy a smartphone and set it to grayscale if you wanna use your phone less. It worked on me and I only get to charge my phone ever 2-3 days lol.
Greyscale, thats interesting, I can imagine that would definitely deter me to be on my phone less. Plus it would give your phone a nice old school vibe what I like the sound of. Thank you for watching the video 👍🏻😊
I don't use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other social Media. I do use WhatsApp for work and family. RUclips to watch movies, series....... I don't think I am addicted to anything....
The problem with tech is the word 'addiction' is something we still aren't comfortable with. I think a lot of people who we would call 'addicted' to their phones, social media, etc. wouldn't believe they are addicted.
I couldn't help but laugh at the estimated revenue bit at 0:13. This is literally me 😂breaking things and hoping my non existent YT revenue will pay for repairs! I really enjoy watching your videos Darby, you are a great content creator!
I'm from India and was born in 2000. Earlier I used to suggest my family members to use smartphone and always used to state its features and functions. Earlier they used to resist it. But now everyone started using Andriod devices. It's strange that I have moved to dumb phone and they are addicted to smartphone especially WhatsApp. Luckily my dumbphone has WhatsApp so I just use it to view message. I dont type on it just call the person instead. For RUclips and Mails I use computer.
@@yes_noa apologise for late reply. I use JioPhone 1. Jio is network company like AT&T in India. So they make phones too. But for sometime I have been using Galaxy S21.
Id recommend that you get like a old and cheap iPhone. Just for music, calls and WhatsApp. Like a Se from 2016 that isn’t supported anymore but that’s still working
Hi David, this is a little drastic but baby steps can be made with turning a few notifications, deleting a few apps. It's all about make those distractions less visible and less intrusive in your life. I have a video talking about these things coming soon 😉👍🏻 P.S. thank you so much for watching.
Some people only have a phone for everything, no PC. But sure, if you have a computer at home for the heavy lifting, what you carry with you doesn’t need to be that full-featured at all. Most stuff can wait until you get back. It’s just a pity that some services force you to use QR etc so you get stuck.
I kind of miss having a phone for phoning and basic services (weather, messages, calendar, reminders, maps) and something like an ipod that isn’t connected to the internet, where you have to physicality connect it to a computer or load up an SD card if you want books, audiobooks, podcasts, music or even videos. But it isn’t even possible anymore to find a battery powered device with a multi-touch display and no wireless connectivity of any kind
God this video just explains it perfectly. My Issue that I have is that I do have a Smartphone, however I just DON'T WANT TO USE IT. Literally. I want a Feature Phone instead. Even though I can't afford to pay a Sim card which is what most of my family has told me, I want to have one for the future when I am READY to move into the Phone's Calls and Texts Space. I have been staring at a Nokla 2660 Flip which is a flip phone from HMD and I just want one. Buying one to have and use doesn't really mean that I am ready, it means I am preparing for what's to come. When I get a Sim Card for it I am definitely going to be using it as my Phone from point blank in the future. As I have been walking with Family and Driving to places like Shops everywhere we go... I see everyone WITH a Smartphone. I even counted how many I saw during that day too. In fact I could say I saw at least 100 of these. Smartphones are definitely killing us man. They really are. Just looking into that screen terrifies me. It really does. Which again tells me I want to be THAT Different person to everyone else in the world. Smartphoneless and just wants a regular phone when that Future KICKS IN.
In the netherlands almost anything is digital, its almost a non negotiable to not bring a phone, eventhough i bring my blackberry almost anywhere in some cases, the sms verification ( which i hate the most ), doing groceries, or even buy some food at restaurant, most of the cases you cant even pay with cash they will decline and tell you to leave
If it wasn't for spotify and up-to-date GPS, I would have switched back to a regular GSM long time ago. I've been buying cd's again; so maybe one day just switching out the head unit in my car to an android unit for Waze and Maps does the trick
Absolutely, and if I want a free phone out of work it has to be a smartphone for 2fa sadly. It also helps that Verizon has rules that allow me to only forward friends and family.
Before I bought my first iPhone 3GS, I used a Panasonic candy bar phone. My wife and friends constantly had to remind me to charge it. I was in college at the time at a friend of mine gave me a spare charger so I could charge it in the car. I just didn’t care. I wanna go back to that.
You cannot get buy without a some way to receive a text nowadays. Every other app seems to log you out every other day the force you to receive a text to get signed back in
Isn't it odd how that happens? Clearly its not a coincidence. When we go from having all of this convenience and power with smartphones to just something basic, the NEED to have them on us all the time just goes away. Thank you for watching btw 😊👍🏻
@@IMStrick_ Not him, but this is what I do: - Delete all social apps, youtube etc - Set a black background and lock screen - Download a site blocker, block distracting websites
@IMStrick, I didn't turn my iPhone into a dumb phone, my iPhone just broke. However I did delete everything off my home screen, turned off nearly all notifications and stopped using social media before it broke. I Also blacked my home screen and lock screen like @Nawaal.
I need my usual smartphone for banking/ewallet, uber and the occasional food delivery. I have a dumb flip phone for 2 years and I've never been happier.
There used to be a funny saying when the mobile phone was first invented: "Walking down the street and suddenly feel the intense urge to call someone. Said no one, ever"
You describing life without it and feelings before hand of feeling like you need it, feeling complete etc, is akin to most people coming clean from addiction, be it drugs or whatever. That's all it is really, the people who worked on the tech over years have even expressed in interviews etc that they're designed to keep us hooked, no different than gambling or drugs, we're sold these things not because we need them but because companies make $$$ from keeping us buying the phones, using the apps, following trends to buy this or that. If you think we can't live without phones, remember that humans have been thriving for thousands of years, the past 15 with smartphones mean nothing in the grand scheme of humankind.
i think smartphones are fine a person who wants to go to a dumb phone or no phone just needs more self control over what they do in their day to day. instead of going on tik tok or youtube when your bored just sit there in your own thoughts or fidget with something
That’s telling a alcoholic that being around alcohol is fine they just need to control it. There are statistics that the smartphone has altered our cognitive abilities. I think the internet is a powerful and useful tool but we are not taking it’s addictive side as seriously as we should. We probably would when we begin to see the long term consequences of over stimulation from the internet. Imo the internet is good but needs an off switch, like everything else. The smartphone eliminates the off switch.
Why are people no longer even discussing this, just 7 or 8 years ago it was a hot topic but now it's completely acceptable to be on your phone for 12 hours a day. And yes it is like alcohol for alcoholics, plus we don't know the long term effects. Have they truly looked into the negative effects.. take someone who's never used a smart phone and then someone who uses one all the time.. What changes have occurred in the brain. @@Peter-mj6lz
Born in 65. Grew up without any phones, computers, gadgets or social media. Not saying it was better. No colour photos or videos of my childhood or parents that I can look at to remember, but I am starting to resent feeling that I have to use many of these things to remain a part of 'society' these days. WA and RUclips are the extent of what I use.
I think switching to dumb phones is for people who lost/lack self control, so making the smartphone unaccessible to them is the last resort for them to get rid of their bad habbits. Giving responsibility over their own bad habbits/lack of self control away and saying that its all the smartphones fault is just not the right approach and objectively not true.
I made a video recently about self discipline because I see a lot of people share that belief of taking something away as a bad thing. In Homer’s odyssey, Odysseus asked his men to strap him to the mast of his ship because he knew the sirens call was too strong. The lesson here is even the strongest of wills still have to battle with self control, urges, desires and distractions. Putting a smartphone away and using a dumb phone is a sign of weakness it’s an understanding of how self discipline actually works. It’s healthy.
I don't do social networks, those are dumb. But I need to message family, use banking and health apps. So I have a smartphone, but it sees little use...
How about no mobile phone and re-installing /using a landline only. It was just a few short decades ago where this was the norm. Who is up for that? 🇬🇧🇺🇸
Looks like you're in the UK. I neither have, nor want a spy phone (check out what the acronym S.M.A.R.T. stands for) but I listen to audiobooks all the time on my mp3 - and it costs nothing because I download them from my local i.e. south west, library website. Wherever you are there should be the same facility.
This is so good except here I literally can't live whiteout any apps. I cant login to things that require my bank stuff. I'm literally stuck in another city (If I were alone rn I'd be stuck, or risk a 80€ fine) bc, I broke my phone in another city that I travelled into by a train. Other than that, there's not really much else in there. Just convenient stuff too, like my google calendar. And wait.. I can't login to google whiteout no phone no more...
There is something you didn't cover tho: How annoying it is for the people around you that you have a phone with very limited capability. I used a basic Nokia for a few months and I found myself kind of getting fazed out of my friendship groups - not on purpose, but we all rely on everyone to be independently capable of checking in on plans made in Messenger, and so I would literally be unaware of plans that were being made off the cuff, and causing annoyance to almost everyone around me for not being able to be as independent (the reality of a dumb phone is no maps, no bank app on the go, no music, no Lime or Uber) and instead relying on others more. I do wonder how irritating your wife ACTUALLY found it that she had to be responsible for your lack of phone - not to mention you leaving home without it considering your children. Anyway, definitely an angle I was interested in seeing here (or in any dumb phone video) that I haven't seen covered yet. I kind of feel like you need to all make the switch in your friendgroup to dumb phones, or have no friends that are trying to maintain friendship.
Yes, go to NO phone. No one needs it. Bring the street phones back: there when you need them and safe within a phone booth. Use them only for absolute necessity or emergency.
RUclips is amazing for learning many things. Personally I use it a lot for entertainment but also use it for podcasts and other educational stuff as well. 👍🏻
I barely need my phone, my weekly hours of use from this thing are usually about 2h. I wish i could simply google without having this brick on me all the time. Also scanning qr codes is needed for so many things as covid showed us, its just so annoying to have the phone with me all the time, but i cant leave it at home either because people need to call me or sometimes i want to listen to music in the car. It would be nice if didnt had to take it everywhere i go
I’ve been using an XP5s since February! It’s a chunky thing but even as a heavy texter the battery still lasts 3 days. I love that all the basics work right since it’s based on AOSP. Group chats, sending photos/videos, calls, setting alarms, host spot, etc. all work correctly. The internet browser is even workable in a pinch. Called for a tow once and they required I put my info in via a link. Did not work well on the KaiOS phone I had at the time. I use an older LG V35 to play Spotify in the car, Garmin GPS for navigation, Canon PowerShot (or an SLR/DSLR of choice for photos), and I keep my socials on an older tablet at home. It’s a situation that works well for me (distractions with ADHD are hard) but I do miss having them all in one place sometimes.
I've gotten into the habit of minimizing my use of the phone. I've removed ALL social media from my phone. I haven't felt more in control than now. All social media is confined to my computer. If a site prompts me to link my phone, I just leave. Life actually gets better. Start riding your bicycle more and your phone less. You'll be amazed at your findings. It's more peaceful.....aside from the numerous notifications that tell you that you've used your phone x amount of time less. It's hilarious. #UnplugAndLive
Feature phones are a luxury here and there's this text warfare where teenagers here back then uses virus message to spam them on the sender's intended target and some unlucky phone got knocked out to recover they had to remove the messages on other phones that are resistant
Switch to Samsung they got water proof Smartphones which the only real damage would be the USB Type C but will eventually dry out I would recommend a water proof phone case to prevent accidents like this.
Unfortunately there are some careers that have to have one. Mine being one of them but I now use the work phone as a smart phone and my personal cell is just a call and text device. That said leaving cyber space and keeping in the realm of a tool and not a daily convenience has been nice over the last few years.

@@jcdom3841 Use the landline
It still feels like I need one and it's impossible to imagine that I don't need one.. I want a dumb phone so bad man
@@wicked1still I’ve thought it out, and the only thing that may be difficult without a phone is navigation, making important calls, and accessing banking (and even then, there are ways around all of those).
One day I may own a regular mobile phone for emergency situations, but so far, I've gotten this far in my life (60 yrs old) without a cell phone, why change it.
why are you a bot
The only problem is that I don't know if they support bank verification apps. We don't have paper versions in my country anymore.

RUclips is social media buddy 😂
That’s 76 days a year you spend on RUclips. They have become an immoral business and in my opinion as harmful as tobacco companies. I’m 5 hours a day too so I’ve ordered a dumb phone and look forward to getting my life back. Shame RUclips - you’ve lost what made you great.
I would argue that RUclips IS social media. You comment on videos... You like things and subscribe to stuff.

What was it that made a gen z like yourself use a Nokia instead of what everyone else your age is using?
Im old but I made a conscious choice to use technology on my terms. I generally dont take my phone with me everywhere I go, mostly i take it when im going on a long drive so I can stream spotify or make a phone call. I think phones have become too intrusive in our lives and they make us waste a lot of time.
I dont know how one would do banking without a phone now though considering they text you passcodes.
Here's an idea.
Buy a smartphone and set it to grayscale if you wanna use your phone less.
It worked on me and I only get to charge my phone ever 2-3 days lol.

Have you started using it yet?
How did you edited that Video???😂

I still have my phone with my at all times but I have been call forwarding to my landline to help put it away.
Do you feel that helps
Absolutely, and if I want a free phone out of work it has to be a smartphone for 2fa sadly. It also helps that Verizon has rules that allow me to only forward friends and family.
Before I bought my first iPhone 3GS, I used a Panasonic candy bar phone. My wife and friends constantly had to remind me to charge it. I was in college at the time at a friend of mine gave me a spare charger so I could charge it in the car. I just didn’t care. I wanna go back to that.
You cannot get buy without a some way to receive a text nowadays. Every other app seems to log you out every other day the force you to receive a text to get signed back in
I made my iPhone into a dumb phone and now I hardly ever pick it up. Most of the time I forget to take it with me when I leave the house.
Isn't it odd how that happens? Clearly its not a coincidence. When we go from having all of this convenience and power with smartphones to just something basic, the NEED to have them on us all the time just goes away. Thank you for watching btw 😊👍🏻

@@DarbyWilcock Ah right, I've never had that.

No colour photos or videos of my childhood or parents that I can look at to remember, but I am starting to resent feeling that I have to use many of these things to remain a part of 'society' these days. WA and RUclips are the extent of what I use.
What nokia is it?

Yeah but does that phone have Wi-Fi because I bought the lowest grade flip from from T-Mobile and it has Wi-Fi to the Internet
I feel the only thing you NEED is a laptop.

It would be nice if didnt had to take it everywhere i go
Epic. I have sonim xp5s. Best phone ive ever owned
What do you like about it?
