  • This video is part 2 and I re-visit Flamborough Head in East Yorkshire for a sunrise. The sunrise itself was fairly disappointing. However, about 15 minutes after the sunrise really spectacular crepuscular rays started to come through the clouds. These stayed for about an hour giving me lots of opportunity to get some stunning images. This was one of the best golden hours I have ever experienced.
I hope you enjoy this video and your photography

Hi Darrell. We really liked your portrait boulders in the foreground photo which was just before your favourites. Looks a good location for photography. Thanks Jon and Sandra.

Excellent video Darrell. I enjoyed your photography too. Just shows that you don’t need 45mp to create stunning images. Very well done.

Cracking video and loved the photo's simply stunning, really looking forward to staying here in 6 weeks time for a week, giving me plenty of options as to where to photograph

I was very lucky with the conditions and pleased I stayed rather than going back to the b and b.

Got to be in it to win it. I was staying in a b and b with every intention of getting up so I was motivated. It is much harder at home.

it's funny seeing you in a coat and cap in summer. It was 40c here and it makes for a harsh shooting environment. You want to trade weather? Great images, you definitely made the most of the light.

Good old English Summer. It was more the wind coming off the North Sea that caused to temp to drop. Was somewhere between 10 and 14 c but the wind chill took 5 or six degrees off. I prefer the cold to the heat. It's much easier to stay warm rather than stay cool.

I stayed about 35 miles inland from there last weekend, lovely campsite but nothing but rain the whole weekend so my planned trip to Bampton Cliffs/Flamborough Head didn’t materialise. The only photos I got were a couple of Robin photos on site and some Street Photography in York last Sunday, came to it that rain or no rain we needed to get out
