Glad you liked it then man. The uselessness comment is more that it was completely and totally unnecessary. I totally understand the UK pulling up and fighting the Argentinians back to keep a region that overwhelmingly wants to be part of the UK, it just shouldn't have gotten to that point in the first place.
@@CiggySnake You can't hold elections on what country to belong to. 50 % of all European villages would create their own country and there would be 6789 countries in the west, and probably worse for the dictatorships. This is a modern myth and ofc. Russia is bowing down to the Gods of democracy every time that they can snatch another piece of land in the name of democracy, but what precedes the democratic circus is the "Rule Of Law" you know, the stuff that protects the innocent washing machines.

one thing that is never talked about in the youtube comments shitshow on all the falklands vids is that Thatcher was a hated figure in the uk that was on the way out. By invading the falklands we ended up with another 6 years of her during which she decimated the uk manufacturing base and the social welfare programs. maybe this was a mad sophisticated long range attack by argentina designed to enslave the uk population to the bankers.

Also genuinely sad that a fairly innocuous/unimportant string of islands (no offense to the Falklanders) is a source of such tension, but hopefully said issue can be resolved in due time. Is this perception of Britain as some villainous nation something really entrenched in Argentinian society, or do you see people starting to discard such beliefs and be less concerned about the Falklands? Curious either way.
