  • Using many colors in a knit project can be intimidating when you have to spend a lot of time at the end of your project weaving in the ends of your yarn with a tapestry needle every time you change color. Not so if you weave your ends in as you knit. See how I weave in my ends as I change color. I also discuss how to knit with your non dominant hand at the end of this video, essential for working (knitting) with more than one color at a time.

This is a really good tutorial. I learned how to do this year's ago and though as you stated, it is awkward at first, with playful practice with remnant yarn on a swatch it gets to be so easy you won't be afraid to tackle beautiful multicolored projects.

So glad you found it helpful! Yes, it is so awkward at first but the muscle memory never goes away after you get the hang of it! When I finally got the hang of it I was off to the races! My knitting got very colorful!
