In Japan status is a big deal. Japanese people love attentive customer service and attendants fawning all over you. It gives the impression of status. You can find it in many forms all over Japan. This is one of them.
Perhaps she is a host too? Many hostesses visit host club and probably vs. And while if they choose to engage in a sexual relationship with a client after work it’s not technically part of their job so calling her lady of the night for sharing drinks with a client that is not allowed to touch her while in the club is a bit of a stretch.
Wow! They have a lot of energy!!! The chanting really make the party comes to life. These gentlemen are very polite and respectful. I'm sure having a pleasant personality and a nice smile is a big part of their job. It seem like they have to follow strict rules and guidelines to work there. They appeared to function more like a group. They have similar hairstyles and they dressed the same. It would be nice if they show more individuality. Like a guy dresses in streetwear, a guy dresses in suit, a guy dresses in leather motorcycle gear, a guy dresses in sport gear and a preppy guy. It would be more fun to have different types of guys instead of everyone conforming to one style.
Most people are male youtubers so you don't see these places much just female spots but also they don't allow any recording. There are signs and buildings that have hansome men on it or fancy looking gold entrances that are for host clubs. Alot of lonely women in japan like lonely men so they make a ton of money. Usually host clubs are looked in a bad light because they prey on lonely women who spend hundreds to thousands of dollars on one man who makes her feel special. Sometimes these men don't care about anything but the money thus leading the girl down a dark path or make her rely on him more to keep her to spend more money. But it happens, not all are super bad I'm sure but its the loneliness factor sadly. But yeah there are places for men and women in japan, its just the male side is less covered due to men being the ones looking for female establishments cuz they are men and japan is strict on privacy especially places like host clubs will not let you record. He just got special persmission to record this video and asked everyone in it if they were okay with showing their face.
I got up around 2 30am je as i was as usual laying awake said prayers and sent some things onto quora im off to bed now its 10 past 4 am take care and stay safe.
Rare pink elephants are so cute ... but the colour is not the problem. The issue is with an elephant's big wiggling nose extension ... the trunk, swaying flabby here and there. And the tail as well.
Thank you for a fairly recent video of host clubs. This culture has fascinated me for quite a while. I watch the RS but it is good to see other input. Would it be possible for you to film the 'host' awards this year? I know it's a big ask. Well done so far. I am now subscribed. 🫶
*W T F* is this !??! Good lord !! There should be a specific emoji for this.. somekind of a smiley with blown out eardrums who is wondering WTH just happended. 😵💫🥴😵💢💥🤢💀💀This was Unnecessary Japanese Shouting in a nutshell.
They are expensive even regular looking host clubs are. The women who go aren't rich they are just lonely women who are spending their work paycheck to help cure their loneliness. More expensive host clubs have abit higher clients but still same lonely people who want the attention and care of a handsome man. This video shows them in a great light but there is alot of darkness in quite afew of these places when it comes to lonely women spending hundreds to thousands on the host she likes. All mostly your normal women spending alot like they are rich just so the host is happy. Lonely life in japan for both genders.
@@Fate862 True i imagine yoiu are correct never the less they have money if not they would not be there as there are many lonely women not just in japan, but there are also many poor ones also.
Nothing is free in this world.i watch a lot of you tubers go aound japan i love seeing it although yes its got its dark side as every country does ,sad also seeing young japanese girls as prostitutes but thats how the world is and is going to get far worse before God burns it up .
I found this very awkward & a bit cringe I feel those hosts are also feeling slightly awkward but are obviously only doing this for the money & I expect a lot 'more' goes on behind the scenes 😜
OMG 😮 The guys all have weird permed hair. Most of them are skinny not muscular manly. The rooms are cramped, and those neon walls, crystal lights that haphazardly hung. The multicolor lights makes people dizzy. I am so surprised, because Japanese are famous of good taste & aesthetic. What's going on? Is this deliberately done to give Mickey Mouse & Disneyland vibe? Taiwan & HongKong & Shanghai have Host Clubs. They are doing it way better.
1,082 dollars for a bottle of alcohol??!@#$% that's sickening and greedy. I hate alcohol to begin with. And the fact people are still wearing those pointless face masks is even more absurd!!!
Captivating, interesting, very appreciative of your devotion to sharing this unique culture !
The best host club video I have ever seen.👍
Many deep questions asked. All of you guys make me know more about host club.
Great peek into this subculture 👏👏. I have anxiety and that welcome (everyone staring at you) would freak me out LOL
This one was truly unique.

really enjoyable video again JE, looks like a very nice place, lol so many men serving you , really well done and thank you 😊
That woman looks better than any of these guys!🫤
12:20 Amusing when the lady was asked what she did for a living, the big hesitation then "hospitality " LOL translated "lady of the night".

Acmel is right. Hospitality definitely means prostitute.

I'm Japanese.
なるほど、こういう世界なんですね。知らんかった…。勉強になります。
your awesome.
Very interesting. I guess there are plenty of places generally for the men in Japan but this is the first generally for women that I heard about.

Huge amount of glass and statues everywhere ... never let elephants visit this place.
Pink or Gray ?

@@akiensio425 thanks for the info.

I was expecting really good looking guys...I'm somewhat surprised that their appearance is quite average!
‘You speak English very well’
‘Uh… no.’ Lmao 🤣
Guess now we know Japanese women LOVE chandeliers
I was wondering the tattoos on tigers neck do they have some significant meaning ,
I think the manager should go find some more hosts from other local host clubs ,,
Manager best looking one

it looks fun , I like japanese men , and this place looks expensive
See they greeted you like royalty japan explorer

Well thanks to you je and those sweet boys i enjoyed it
I thought he is Masuda Toshiki XD *Refers to Ichi-san
i would imagine for it to be such an exclusive club the drinks are expensive and the rich attend there.

Can imagine if an earthquake occurs
IM STILL UP JE ITS 4 53AM WELL I REALLY AM GOING BACK TO BED NOW THEN ILL GET UP ABOUT 7 30AM MAKE BREAKFAST,
Must've cost you a fortune tonne of money for interviewing and talking to everyone in there. It's really not cheap to be there
why did you blur every customer"s face but not the face of woman in 7:18??
Because she wanted to be in the video
かごいね❤
Hello hansome tiger❤してきですね❤
wow.
The champagne call was Too aggressive for me😅
It was surprisingly interesting even without cute host girls😂.
But those guys are cool.
I found this very awkward & a bit cringe I feel those hosts are also feeling slightly awkward but are obviously only doing this for the money & I expect a lot 'more' goes on behind the scenes 😜
interesting. it takes courage to generate an insight into a controversial issue such as host clubs.
Pagar para que un grupo de feitos te entretengan actuando como si estuvieran felices😅
JE こんばんは🤠
What a nice bunch of sweet boys
Just so strange, how other cultures live
poor je he as got an headache now after all that loud singing.
I would have a drink with Tiger ❤
The hosts looks like fake characters standing there I’ll b scare them
👍🏽
Whoever owns this club must be rich ,either that or its owned by a syndicate.
Why not both? A rich syndicate?
I didn’t think it was luxurious. It looks cheap and vulgar. The hosts too but that’s from my ethnocentric point of view😅
Girls' faces are not hidden properly
She is the one that is been interviewed at the end
A lot of emos.
There wearing satan mask
TAIWAN IS MUCH MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!
There is no sex service between host and customer? It is only chatting and spend Millions yens for women?
My guess is that although it's officially illegal and nobody speaks it out loudly that there is much more going on behind the scenes. 😇👀😅
We want to see girls not guys 😢
Watch all his other videos then 😂
