I lived in Jacksonville, FL last year and had about 20 hibiscus. Last Dec the 24, 25, & 26 the temperature dropped to 24°, I would say for at least 7 hours and the daytime temperature didn't get to 50°,all but one was killed to the ground. Believe it or not, 14 came back.
Thank you. I started talking and the next thing I knew 24 minutes had gone by. I need to work on editing back a little bit. But you can't leave out information on a plant that people need to know about.
The Green Alchemist the length of this video isn’t bad. You gave very detailed information. You answered any question I would have asked and questions I didn’t think to ask. I’m sure I’m not the only person who lived this. Don’t hold back. You were fantastic.
Help!! :( i got one from daughter and son in law and it is not doing good I have it outside, the pot didn't have holes in it so we put some in it so the water would drain. This is the first time I have ever had one, so kind of clueless. I have leaves that are dried up, but still getting blooms, I have some branches that look like they are producing new leaves. I live in Nebraska, and have it outside. I don't know what to do!!!?? Do I cut off the branches that look like they don't have any green growing on them???? I am at a loss!!
Ive had to make a couple of comments about it. This winter really took a lot out of him. He's not doing his best right now and I've got him sitting outside to help get him more light, but Kentucky is under a freeze warning untill Sunday so it's hard to keep him from taking a turn for the worst in his current state. I'm hoping once the warm weather gets here to stay he'll make a complete 180. I'll keep you guys posted and do his update video once he's recovered.
