Dividends from the stock market encouraged me to begin investing. What matters, in my opinion, is that if you invest and make additional money in addition to dividends, you will be able to live off of dividends without selling. It implies that you can provide that benefit for your children, giving them a head start in life. I've invested more than $600,000 in dividend stocks throughout the years; I'm currently buying more today and will continue to do so until the price falls even further.
Hearing from an experienced investor who has survived the crisis and prospered is always comforting. It could be worrisome when your portfolio goes from green to red, but if you have invested in strong firms, you should just keep growing them and stick to your goal.
I wholeheartedly concur, which is why I appreciate giving an investment coach the power of decision-making. Given their specialized expertise and education, as well as the fact that each and every one of their skills is centered on harnessing risk for its asymmetrical potential and controlling it as a buffer against certain unfavorable developments, it is practically impossible for them to underperform. I have made over 1.5 million dollars working with an investment coach for more than two years.
There are many financial coaches who excel in their profession, but for the time being, I employ Julie Anne Hoover because I adore her methods. You can make research and find out more.

The market's direction can swiftly change, with indexes frequently transitioning from a bear market to a bull market precisely when the news is most negative and investor sentiment reaches its lowest point. I came across an article highlighting individuals who achieved profits of up to $150,000 during challenging market periods. Considering this, I am curious about the best stocks to purchase now or add to a watchlist.
Inflation wields a more pronounced influence on individuals compared to a plummeting stock or housing market, as it directly perturbs their cost of living, resulting in an immediate repercussion. It's hardly surprising that a prevailing sense of pessimism saturates the market sentiment at present. Amidst this economic landscape, genuine guidance becomes indispensable to adeptly navigate and endure these demanding conditions.

There is something very motivating about receiving dividends each week. I’m still missing a few weeks, here and there, so it’s always nice to hear more options! So THANK YOU!
Dividends are a great thing, but they’re only really effective for passive income when you either have somewheres over 20 to 25 thousand shares of a high yielding stock. Meaning you likely need to have a few hundred thousand if not more invested in it. Re-investing dividends back into the same stock certainly does snowball with compound interest, but you only really start seeing it after 20 years of never stopping and likely needing to add additional money of your own with it….so it’ll be time consuming and costly. The way I see it if you have a million dollars at some point, that’d be enough to create a portfolio that would pay you between 50 to 70 thousand in dividend income
Like Warren Buffet said, dividends are only good if the business you’re investing into can’t make good use of that capital. So if you’re trying to invest into businesses with actual growth, looking at dividends is a waste of time. Why are you investing into a company if they’re returning capital to you because they think you can make better use if it than they can. There’s only one reason, and it is a place to park your capital to pay you a small return with large established businesses because you aren’t trying to grow your portfolio anymore, but to live off of it. It’s not much different from bond investing.
Market's inconstancy is one of the reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by F/A, as their skill set is built around going long and also shorting the market to maximize returns, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against inevitable downtrends, and when combined with exclusive analysis, it's nearly impossible not to outperform. Since the 2020 pandemic, I've made more than $1.6 million after subsequent investments thus far.

CSQ and CCD pay monthly dividends, and STK and NIE pay quarterly dividends. I believe these 4 CEFs pay around the third week of the month. MCI and MPV pay quarterly dividends, and I believe they pay around the second week of the month. There are a lot of high yield bond ETFs that pay monthly dividends. Most of them seem to pay around the second week of the month. ANGL seems to be the best performing of the high yield bond ETFs over the last 10 years. It pays monthly dividends around the second week of the month.
I only keep one class of ETF in my portfolio. For instance, Yield Max is one, Amplify is one, and Global X (QYLD) is one. Then I have them situated so I get paid by each on every week of the month.
Whew ! That's a lot of funds. Nice to see that you put them in table form! The Yieldmax funds are the highest but having TSLY, I already lost 1/10th of my principle and now I have to wait for the dividend to be paid to get my money back. I should not have bought so much. Just don't put too much money when buying these funds because they can go down very fast in just a week and you could lose a lot of the principle (the money you bought the fund with).
Sorry to hear about the flooding. I'm sure its frustrating, but you are still able to put out content, so that's good. The summery is nice. I am sure you could have used alternative investments for some of these, like MAIN, LYB, and RIO.
TGIF is a horrible ETF. One could get the payout on that by investing in almost every other ETF out there and probably for less share price. They did justice by appealing to the demographic of people who want to be paid out frequently, but what they forgot or maybe they thought they could fool their demographic, that by investing as much as one does, it is not worth it.
Let me know how you feel about New Mountain Finance. Have made a bunch of money holding this the last 5 years. Best dividend play i ever had. Giving special distribution along with quarterly in December. Plus a nice share repurchase plan.
Thanks for the remake @DividendBull, this gives some really good insights :) I'm wondering though, outside of the work you put into these videos, how much time do you usually spend on managing your own portfolio? I assume you keep track of all of your investments to ensure they keep paying dividends and won't stop paying them altogether?
This is fabulous - always looking for new ideas. Thanks! I'm almost paid every week, but the third week is weak. Another mid-month monthly payer that I missed if mentioned, is HRZN, a BDC. A very high yield income CEF I hold that pays at the end of the month is ACP, also RNP.. I, too, had IRM but it finally got called away when the share price doubled. I miss the dividend and option income, but agree that it's too expensive to get back in now.
That's a nice portfolio. Such a shame that many of these funds & ETFs are not available to European (retail) investors... Cannot understand why the issuers of these funds don't set up KID documents so that Europeans can buy them too.
That is kind of a good thing because you have a more narrower pick of ETFs and stocks. Meanwhile, I have to look through so many just to settle on one.
Fun fact... there are more than 4 weeks in a month (except for February). So depending on the pay cycles of the chosen securities, it is highly likely that folks will still encounter a week with no payments.
@@KaskoXeroVlogs You could lay it out like this. The worst kind of month will be a perfect month where 31 days, lays itself out in 7 days every week. 1st week 1-7 2nd week 8-14 3rd week 15-22 4th week 23-30 5th week 31-6 You would have full coverage if you use these ranges.

What percentage of covered call ETFs like QYLD would you suggest is the safe route to have in your portfolio for monthly /yearly passive income?

Hey man, I still hold QYLD and feel like it’s so reliable. Do you think otherwise or do you think it’s worth keeping?
Not when you have ETFs like OARK, TSLY, NVDY, etc. way higher yield for the expense ratio.
At the money calls pretty much guarantees losses over the long term. QYLG is lower dividend but at least captures growth when the market moves up.
