I'm an older dad. I'm 45 and my son is 7. Never was much of a gamer when I was a kid because it was a fairly new thing then and there's only so much Mario / Alex Kidd you can play. Bought a modded PS2 off marketplace when my son was born and it was such a great investment. Came with 300 games on its hard drive which amused us for years. I downloaded all the Star Wars games last year because he's going through his Star wars phase and Battlefront 2 was so engaging, we still have legitimate conversations about it. We've finished Rise of the Empire on splitscreen and the only thing holding us back from Galactic conquest is our mutual inability to fly :D Does anyone know the name of the level at 2:03? We want to revisit it because it's the one we used the invincibility cheat on but we forgot the name.
Been playing this recently on my Steam Deck, amazing game especially to play mobile and jump into a quick match. It's such a basic game and I've not come across another like it, one side here, another here, diverse and good sized maps, vehicles, game mode options with some customization. Simple and fun. All EA needed to do was re-make it and with modern visuals, bigger battles, more maps, more modes, CONQUEST 2.0, diverse vehicles, more refined ship boarding, more diverse loadouts and with moderate customization you'd have one of the best games ever made. Even cooler if you could create your own custom Jedi/Sith for all game modes off and online that you can have the option to play instead of the existing characters. Easy $50 purchase. Hell, they could have just did a re-master with proper mod support/tools, with modern visuals and everyone would have been thrilled.
@@Posts_Comments this is absolutely right. EA had an easy way of pleasing the fans with their remake but sadly couldn’t capture the feel of the originals. Imagine a modern day battlefront 2 501st journals, it would be huge
I know I’m about to love this video already
I HOPE YOU DO!

I always play villains because Leia is unbalance as hell.
