I’ve been bullet journaling since 2019 and fell in love with creating right after opening my notebook for the first time! Hey everyone! My theme for November is super comfy and cozy and I hope you like it! I can’t believe it’s November already, time flies faster than ever 🤯
Ps. Sorry for constantly popping my head in the frame, I’m not used to filming my videos yet hahah
Normally I wait to the end of the videos to comment but I literally just said "nooooo" out loud when you talked about the comment about your struggles taking away from the relaxing videos! No! It doesn't take away from the video at all for me and I'm sure that that's the case for many of your viewers. I honestly think it's very interesting to hear artists talk about what they struggled with in a painting and it's one of the reasons why I have a really strong preference for videos that have voiceovers. I basically only watch them if they have voiceovers, but that's personal preference.
I think an artist being honest and open about struggling is very refreshing to hear because it's easy to look at someone who does these amazing beautiful artworks and feel discouraged but hearing that these artists also struggle while working on a painting makes it more approachable to me.
I honestly think that if someone doesn't like to hear about someone's struggles during a relaxing video, maybe they should mute the video and put their own relaxing music on or something like that, and then they'll still enjoy the video, but for the rest of us, we love hearing you talk about it! I'm speaking for others now but I'm sure that I can't be the only one feeling that way. Please continue sharing your struggles with us.

Very agreed, we didn't expect something to be perfect, we realize there must be some struggles during the process. And being honest would make us feel more connected with you^^
i agree as a artist myself the best feedback I ever get is when I am talking to other artists and they make comments on my work and I can explain the process and why I chose something, that helps me more than anything else. Because i have to put what's in my head in my own words.
I absolutely prefer you sharing your struggles and your growth in your painting!! Disregard that commenter, as others have stated it does not detract from your work at all!!! And do not apologize for it!

☕ You spoke about the things, that make you sometimes talk about your struggles with these paintings and that made me think about some other reason, that might have an effect on that as well. We finnish people are very modest as a nation, it is build on us genetically. So we acknowledge very powerfully that there is always someone else, who is better than ourselves in what we do. We can see and perfectly realize that others having a lot of practise are often better than average, but when it comes to ourselves, the same pattern doesn't apply. 😅 Plus those other reasons you mentioned and the fact that we tend to think that there is always something we can do better - that all makes us generally humble artists who every time happily are surprised when someone says "You are very good." And You are! 🥰

omg this theme is absolutely stunning! I'm so impressed with your painting skills! You make it look so effortless and it looks so beautiful. Personally I enjoy that you talk about the struggles with art because it can definitely feel intimidating when your art isn't "perfect" to your standards. Art takes SOO much practice and its normal to create pieces that you don't like when you're experimenting. It's so easy to fall into the comparison trap as a creative so I really appreciate you sharing your transparent feelings

I loved this video. I am an artist myself and I am very detail-oriented and can go hours with working on one drawing because I have erased and redrew or erased and redesigned. To watch the process you took and showing your decision/design making process was extremely satisfying and reminds me that art will always be a process and no matter what, once you take a step back, the artwork is going to be appreciated in the end. Stunning piece of art by the way, I got lost watching you paint. :)
Ahh thank you SO much lovely, I appreciate these words so much! ❤️ And yess the thing about art is that when the artist finally starts painting or drawing it, they have already probably spent many hours on it just thinking about all the details and placements in their head, sketching and finding inspiration! Doing art is such a huge process and it’s the best feeling when you finally get to the finish line 😌

My partner likes to joke that my parents found me and my sister in the forest, that we were little chantarelles that they picked and took home and took care of. My entire life I have been out in the forest picking mushrooms and it was amazing! I dont live in Sweden anymore though (moved to the UK 5 years ago and haven't found any good mushie places). Love the spreads!! Not drinking coffee in Finland sounds like not drinking tea in England :'D
