- It’s the time for my February setup! I decided to just hop out of my comfort zone and ended up with pastel colors and clouds 👀 This is something completely different but I really love how this whole dreamy and magical theme turned out ✨ I hope you like it too!

Hello friends! My name is Tiina, I’m a 22 year-old art loving cat lady from Finland. I’ve been bullet journaling since 2019 and fell in love with creating right after opening my notebook for the first time! Hey my lovely friends! When have you last stepped outside your comfort zone? For me it was definitely this theme, these colors are something I usually wouldn’t go for but I really enjoy challenging myself and trying new things! I hope you liked this setup too ☁️💕

Ps. About having to be always HAPPY about what we create: I feel you so much on this point hahaha, people sometimes think it's a form of "modesty"(?!?) but it's honestly difficult sometimes to come to terms with the idea/image/mood you had in your head, and what the creation ended up being on paper 🤔 And of course it may be gorgeous to others, but in the creator's mind there is a pure, HQ image of HOW IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN! 😂 So I totally support those saying "we should be more kind to ourselves" but there is a point in not being fully satisfied with our creations too! (Plus: Being not completely satisfied makes us improve!) ❤

this theme looked very doable. usually I love watching your videos but the sheer amount of detailing in your paintings always makes me very nervous. but this one I think i'd like to reproduce in my own journal. i love the length of your videos! You're the modern day bob ross

You painted the clouds beautifully Tiina, I find them a bit tricky to do! My fave was the playlist one. Agree completely about not having to love your art all the time, I am definitely someone like that. I try not to be too negative about my art but in the end I am my toughest critic! I love this setup. I think I will try this for march. When I think on winter I think on snow and the sound of the fighting ravens in the morning. So I painted ravens for my February setup. ☺️

A dream in pastels! As your former cloud theme is one of my favourites you've done, I was so happy to see you do a take two in a different colour palette. These spreads feel so dreamy and fresh! I love how you blended the clouds using the light and darker colours. Such a good technique and it does look nice and easy even for a painting beginner. And you know what I think about being happy with your art / evolving your skills etc.

Have you done an ocean theme yet? I think it would be perfect for a summery type spread, but because it's a lot of wave water study paintings, I don't think it would require so much time and intricacy as well. Maybe would be good for a future theme!

does the paint bleed through?
As you can see from the video, it doesn’t! Really excessive watercolor use can cause that since it isn’t watercolor paper but it handles watercolors fairly well too.
