Well to summarize, Descendants is basically has Disney’s characters and their children. The Villains and their kids are imprisoned on this island called the Isle of the Lost while the good guys and their kids are living normal lives, though most if not half are royalty. The son of Belle and Beast who are stepping down as king and queen of the United States of Auradon, is getting ready to be king but he decided that his first proclamation is that the children of the isle to be welcomed to Auradon! The first four kids of Evil Queen, Cruella DeVil, Jafar and Maleficent were the first to be invited. Their parents gave them the agenda to steal the Fairy Godmother’s wand to take down the barrier that’s surrounded the island so they can take over Auradon. But the kids are having second thoughts as they spend time in Auradon and they found their own interests like playing on a sports team, loving dogs, finding out you’re smart and don’t need to dumb down for someone and lastly, finding love between the soon-to-be king and the daughter of Maleficent. The franchise is good and if you’re interested, all 3 movies and the animated short series is available to watch on Disney plus!

This is more kid like but teens might actually enjoy it adults do what was your daughter's reaction also the first 3 films are magical and have so many good songs this is a well known and well received franchise you don't have to see the others cause this film bringing a new generation but two og character's are returning China as uma and fairy godmother and i guess brandy?
