Alphys and Mettaton might be my favorite characters in this series. Alphys is so unexpectedly unhinged yet still not going too far over. which sounds crazy, but you watched the video I presume. her icons almost always fit what she's talking about. not to mention, her character seems to have the most amount of consistency as well. Mettaton is like a painting: You might have your own interpretations, but they're so off the rails that whatever your vision of them are, it WILL be shattered somehow, someway. Also randomly calling you by the name of a animatronic bear is pretty comedic. You know, they make a good team now that I think about it.
How about Papirus? He has an actual character development: he was homophobic, but also a bisexual, he used to date with a boy and girl at the same time, hiding that from eachother, then he came out to his parents and fully embraced his bisexuality. Also he has turned his girlfriend into a cat via surgery.
