Couple tips for you just a heads up. With that heater looks like a 4-5KW a big boy heater you'll want to make sure to run it on MAX settings here and there to prevent carbon build up and clogging the atomizer/glow plug, yes this means even in the summer. The only other thing to keep on eye on is when installing the heater through a pre-existing floor and not mounted directly to the metal floor that exhaust gets really hot and is only half an inch to quarter inch away from that wood/insulation towards the top/hole you made. Just give it a check every month or so :)
Great job on the install. I did the same thing and they are wonderful but a bit to maintain. Try and run it on high for about 15 minutes before you shut it off. Nothing like dry heat in a camper van. Enjoy.
I had the exact same thing 😢 I managed to get the hole for the exhaust but decided to just let the intake go from directly under the heater 😂 never had a problem... Good work 🎉
As you are probably already conscious of... seeing the amount of snow you are in, just like the van's tail pipe, check every now and again to make sure the intake and exhaust of the heater don't get "snowed in" 😂. You are such an inspiration!!
So glad you got this done by yourself so that if any issues arise you have a good working knowledge of what to check. I like seeing this on RUclips because it shows a better interpretation of the installation process. Punxatawny Phil did not see his shadow back on Feb 2nd so spring should be here early 🎉.
Do not leave your diesel heater muffler under your Van. Because the fumes will seep under your vehicle and go inside your Van. Stick your muffler out the side of your van and not under your Van.
