The church's teachings on sexuality and modesty are so wonderful! Misogyny, barring women from being leaders. The Objectification of women! Teaching children sex is bad so they can grow up feeling guilty and worthless! I'm shocked that some people actually find these beliefs "contemptable and disgusting!" I can't imagine why!
Especially at the same time tell children it's ok that the brother so and so bishop can ask children explicit questions
Its not just a problem for Girls. Intimacy and intercource is a hugely important part of our development into young adults and into adulthood, atleast it is for boys. I grew up in Church being taught to never flirt or have girlfriends untill later on. I was taught that those things weren't deserving of attention because all that matters is your personal relationship with God. This can easily influence and encourage young boys to not have the experiences that other boys their age have. It has huge impact on your social life, how you see Girls. It affects your self worth. And by the time you're old enough as a boy to understand whats wrong, you feel like its too late to have those experiences and understanding girls, and you are ashamed to be so old yet so sexually immature as a young guy it emmasculates you and makes you feel like you are stupid or just lame or uncool, so you dont rven try dating untill you want to find the love of your life. I suspect that is why so many married Christian women are also unhappy, because their men didn't develop alot of essential skills for relationships with women.
