      It's still more about skill, since luck will always balance out in the long run and they're playing with appropriate bankroll management. No pro player is short term results oriented and in this situation it's just part of the game to lose one buy-in against jungle.

      Yea, raising pre-flop with aces, then checking his turned boat!! So SICK! OMG!! That's like 4-d chess on the poker felt!! Mind blowing!! The way he called the all-in without even flinching!! Truly, as you put it so eloquently, truly.......... MASTERFULL. Wow... just wow.

      I don’t - he check raised him on the turn.
      He’s going to get a check back from a lot of holdings and miss on value on the river there a lot.

    You will eventually run into quads with top boat at some point. Just shrug it off and move on. Every time it happens, just believe that a debt is owed to you and you will soon have the nuts over someone’s 2nd nuts and get paid.

      I've had it happen to me twice. I've also lost an all in pre flop when my opponent had the same pocket pair I did (he hit a flush)
      I don't even play poker that much. I play live poker a few times a year.

    Dan should have folded to the 54K 3- bet, Punnat doesn't have close to the amount of money behind to make set-mining with a little pair profitable in the long-run.

    I have a bias against videos showing such extraordinary situations. Aces full versus quads. I have seen that happen exactly once in more than 20 years of live play. What's the point? What do we learn from this?

    Pretty questionable call preflop by jungle… he of all players should know that isn’t a call. Put in 50k preflop set mining to win another 350k assuming he hits and assuming he gets it all and assuming he doesn’t hit and then somehow lose. I know he was in for 9k already but still. He raised that heavy with aces because he knows he has to price out small pairs and try and induce big pairs and ak to play back or just fold.
