I'm mostly just curious how they managed to run glasses under balaclava like that without fogging up.
It was quite a challenge :/
jbmotter they're so damn cool they don't even have hot breath. lol
the best method that I've found to keep single-paned lenses from fogging up is to buff in shaving cream with a clean micro fiber :)

SkyzZ appears to be simulating a high block from an attacker before drawing pistol to defend.
The instructor is an Israeli special forces veteran and we also did some of the drills like he showed us.
Personally i also don't see any benefit from that hand movement but im always open to try new or different techniques

I thought it was to prevent the hand from accidentally going in front of the muzzle. That was my assumption, anyway.
Yes, simulating high block of enemy physically attacking plus serves to not shoot your own hand. Alternately, you could place your off hand on your chest.

saw a Mepro RDS at 1:12 -- anyone have any feedback or thoughts on those? From what I hear they have similar FOV as an Eotech but are just as durable without known issues from temperature changes. Would love to get feedback from anyone here! Thanks!

I'm not sure if RDS is a holographic sight like EOTech, also i didn't use it long enough to get a proper feel for it. We shot with it for 3 days and in that time it performed perfectly.
Clear visible reticle even in bright sunlight
I have one, Mepro M5 / RDS Pro. Honestly the best 1x optic I have ever used and am surprised they are still not so common. The window is wide (wider than Eotech's window but not as tall) but it has no tint whatsoever. When it is clean you will sometimes mistake it for missing the lens. The dot is small but visible and crisp and does not wash-out in sunlight. Size wise it's compact given the size of the window and the power source. Powered by 1x AA battery which is quite nice and convenient and rated to last 8000 hours or so on avg on 1 battery. Milspec (both Israeli and US Mil-STD-810G confirmed). Only 2 negative things I have to say. 1. The optic only has 4 brightness settings (3 for daylight and 1 for NV), it's not a huge issue as they cover the entire spectrum but having maybe 5 daylight and 2 NV would be nice. 2. The reticle emitter will emit too much excess light onto the reticle on the brightest setting when in a dark environment (solution is to just set it to no.2 or 3 brightness at that point so not a big deal). Hope this helps but if you buy one you are unlikely to regret it.

Nelson McCusker some people do it if they are training for concealed carry. The thought is if someone is trying to hit/stab you, you can protect your head while you draw.
