For those who remember, Renat Gaissin, who composed this song, is the author of the song "Qairam Elim" (2020) whose video was directed by Dimash himself and was the winning song for an audience choice on the American MTV in 2020 (Renat Gaissin appears in the video playing the piano). He also made together with Dimash the instrumental song "River Of Love", where Dimash plays the dombra, a Kazakh folk instrument!

Renat Gaissin wrote the music for this at the same time as he wrote Qairan Elim and showed it to Dimash at that time. It got put to one side for some time and then Dimash called Renat from China very recently and asked Renat to get lyrics written for it as he wanted to perform it at the Gala show of Singer 2024.
Renat got a Kazakh poet to write lyrics, it was sent across to Dimash and then the last part was translated into Chinese. Dimash then had to learn it, ensure his Chinese pronunciation was clear and understandable all with literally hours to spare before the Gala concert.

I like it when Dimash shows that he doesn´t need to go crazy high to touch hearts with his singing. His ability to tell a story with his singing skills and with his body makes it possible to understand without knowing the language.
Next reaction? "When i´ve got you" would be great - kind of a contrast to this one 😉

You are right about the introduction - it is a lament song, dedicated to one of his dying fans who couldn’t make it to is concert and had to be hospitalised (who later passed). But without knowing the context you guess correctly based on the melodies. It is true that music is really a universal language.

Dimash even got into trouble at the I M Singer because people retold wrongly what he might have said to a fellow singer. I can t believe that it is fans who just mindlessly retell stories without prove.

The info actually came from the hosts of the show, when they introduced Dimash onto the stage they said the song was dedicated to a terminally-illed fan who later passed on. I guess Dimash’s team was referring to the Chinese lyrics, which was added in the very last minute, not the whole song. But the hosts’ speech made it sound like the whole song was dedicated to the late fan.

My understanding on this song it is a dedication to a young terminally fan that passed away and Dimash dedicated this song to her. They have met in person so it is sung from the heart and I heard he had teary eyes while singing it. Remember it is khazack culture to endear the children and elderly, unfortunately much of the world has parted from.

@@marywebster2488 I believe Dimash leaves it to his Chinese team to communicate with the show organisers. He doesn’t understand Chinese so most probably didn’t quite get what the host was saying when they introduced the song. This song was created by his kazakh team, but the Chinese lyrics, which were likely inspired by the story of the late fan, were added very last minute (with Dimash’s acknowledgment and consent) by his Chinese team for the chinese audience.

Dimash dedicated this to a dear who passed away before she made it to his concert. He went to visit her in hospital

that's beautiful. I now understand that gesture at the end as if he's singing expecially for her memory like he did in the Titanic performance. Dimash has such a heart. Surely an angel on earth.

Why are people spreading that rumor? What do you gain from it? Does it make Dimashs art more beautiful when you attach things like this to it? Does Dimashs art need this kind of promotion? I don t think so. I think it is only harmful if it should turn out to be false information.

This was the 2024 singer composition, at which Dimash was an honoured guest. The authors of the lyrics a d music of this song were written by Dimash's friend. Actually written a few years back and finally brought to life. Wonder song wonderfully performed.
The 1st section is sung in Kazak, the second in Chinese, so that at least most of audience would understand it.
    Always love your reviews

Thank you Sir Hairless :) This is so tender and beautiful. So gently sung. Just beautiful. I absolutely love the violin section. I saw that Chinese Dears were already singing it to Dimash ! Love to hear your analysis and all of the details that you point out. I appreciate your sharing your expertise and your knowledge. :)

Not sure if you have watched "A Thousand Miles A Common Dream", a Dimash original song, a thousand year old Chinese poem put to music that he sang first on a Chinese tv show Everlasting Classics in 2020. This link has the complete appearance and song on the show with English subs. ruclips.net/video/zU29tAzs4Yc/видео.html
I know you like Dimash's airy voice and this one has it in spades. One of his most gorgeous Mandarin songs that he has reprised many times solo and in duets in China since the premier on this show.
