We set off to visit Flossel Farm so we could see tilapia Farming in Ghana and do a little catch and cook. Of course, as has happened several times in Ghana, the police pulled us over before we set out on our Journey with Wode Maya, to the biggest Ghanaian owned Tilapia Farm.

How does it feel to have been on home soil in Ghana? Amazing adventure Stephen and Jillain 🇯🇲🇬🇭
Feels really good! Feels like I did something many only talk about. I’m so grateful
you could tell the amount of hard work that was used on this 30 mins video
Priceless
Trust me
WOOW AM GLAD 😊 WE GHANAIANS ARE DOING GREAT FOR OUR SELVES
Ghana has it all. Blessed with everything and does not need foreign aid.
Ghana certainly needs foreign aid in the form of foreign technical skills ,foreign markets and foreign loans.
Who told you bro? We need: imf,Chinese loan, corona vacine etc🤣🤣🤣
@ Ewura Buah: say this to your clueless NPP and NDC politicians, Dr Nkrumah all these things having Ghana aquaculture in mind. We import cassava today as west African nation and you talking about not needing aid. You must be joking.

Wode Maya 😊😊🖤🖤🖤
My brother in St Elizabeth use to work an a fish farm too he bring me to see how they raise them and sell to the public me eat them also he said he like them better than ocean fish 👊
Love the content and quality of this video 📹
Thanks!!
This is a huge fishery. This must-have good drainage for heavy rain. I always hear bad things about the farmed-raised fishery. This gives me a different perspective on it. Thanks, Stephen
Excellent story on Ghanaian fishery farms! Your hours of editing resulted into inviting scenic views, Stephen. I love ❤️ it! Keep up the narrative of African & Caribbean ambition.
Thanks soooo much Johan! And thanks for always supporting
@@SOAIVLOGS you’re very welcome .😉 My heart ♥️ always feel close to you & Jilly as if we’re family. And, I suppose if we did trace deep inna weh heritage a fam’ly line appear feh tru! 😊❣️😀

Awesome!
This was a nice video lil brother appreciate it
Blessings bro🙏🙏very informative and entertaining.
Thanks so so much
Wow this is awesome is there anything like this in Jamaica and how could Jamaica benefit from this? I'm thinking that more fish would be readily available to everyone at a much cheaper price.
Farming fish is cost effective but health wise it isn’t the best.
??
Jamaica businessmen don't want to go into production. All they want to do is to import from North America. The stupid should encourage them to go produce good
I’m not too sure, but what I’d love to see in Jamaica is a more regenerative approach with fishing. Maybe breading and releasing fish fries back into the ocean to help offset the burden.
Such a refreshing video
Awesome views, great editing 👌 love these Ghana series
Blessing king
People walking on water reminds me of a great event 🙌
@Eric Apronti Amen 🙏
Video quality and delivery is everything
I feel you man but wild caught is a lot healthier for the fish because the things they consume in nature. In a farm the fish can’t reach those things and when there’s sickness it spreads like crazy.
Soy get your pond ready back in Jamaica so you can bring back some breeder fish and whenbthey Kay eggs you can sell the babies or grow them out. Point is you will have the relationship African tilapia you can be both a farmer and and a dryland fisherman! Lol bless
Love these vlogs
I feel like im watching a documentary, excellent editing skills.
Thanks

What's the town called? I'd like to visit.
Operation Funded by FM,O a Dutch Development Agency? Used to be in jamaica
Funded by who? How did you know that?😂
My friend don't you believe that a BLACK MAN CAN OWN THIS. STIP ASUMING
@@lavbcottage7768 You have to understand that there is difference between funding and ownership. The fact that a dutch agency provided funding whether by debt or equity does not take away from the efforts and initiative or ownership of the local entrepreneur. Please think before you speak.
@@kofisam4106 Saw the name on the sign know a little about development finance
Cool adventures

Oh boy isn't the RUclips algorithm great! It figured -correctly- that i like food, fish farming and wode Maya and brought me here.
What is sad though is the image of Africa you grew up with. My Africa is one of doctors, lawyers, engineers, architects, scientists, enterpreneurs etc etc within easy reach of me while i was a child. I strove to become one of them. My greatest sin is not discovering the power of youtube sooner. You are in the company of someone trying to smash the western media image of Africa so take full advantage.
😎❤️✨
You nah come bk a Jamaica?
He's in Jamaica , Ghana
I am a bit disappointed to see the sizes of the tilapia , with such large scale of the floating cages I was expecting the size 1 to size 3 tilapia. No wonder he said every harvest generate 15000ghc for him for which he should have aimed for more since the bigger the tilapia the more money he generate . I am tilapia farmer base in Akosombo
Is that your concern?
What’s your problem about this
@@nanaeffah3218 this video is on RUclips to educate and informed us about how farmers hatched and harvest the tilapia who buys or sells on our market. I think there is nothing wrong trying to contribute or suggest about a piece of info we heard from the farm CEO. Everyday is a learning process 4 us in the aquaculture sectors .
You should appreciate a brother for his hard work being on RUclips instead of expressing your disappointment. My Ghanaian family tho 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Nii Tetteh, stop the nonsense
I thought it was salt water Tilapia. I don’t care for them Why not have the Tilapia naturally in the Lake
Those fish are not real .
I hope ur girlfriend was alright because she don't look to good in this episode.Like she was looking sickly.I wasn't bored at I want to more see more interaction.I wonder how many was loose in the lake. But I enjoy all of it and the knowledge.
You were rather being detained I don't classify that as arrest..
I love Ghanaians but farmed Tilapia is cancer. Dead ting bredda
Soai, can u just post all ur videos from Ghana? It's a little fastidious, watching in bits and pieces. Pretty sure u have been back home a while back. Boooring!
