He cost us our season the second he stepped on the field. He is slow and on run plays he almost always ran the wrong gap or flat out just ran into the back of his own teammate. It's sad when my wife pauses the game to rewind it 20 seconds to show me cambell going to stop the run and just runs into the back of his own teammate who is trying to get the tackle off an OLineman and the runningback went right past him. If he would of shot the gap instead of the dudes back it would of been a tackle for loss. He doesn't have that dog in him at all. He was worthless. Should of played a backup in there. Couldn't be worse.
It's always nice to have a SB winning GM/player who had playing experience to hand the smackdown on someone who ultimately committed the highest form of no-no that should never happen on the field: Ultimate betrayal by turning your back and quitting on your teammates. I'm imagining John Lynch running down the from the box through the tunnel and doing a Goldberg and spearing this chump to the ground and then kicking him out of the stadium. The team is doing the right thing- suspend this guy, garnish his pay and put him in a position that prevents him from signing with another team (not sure what team would even think of doing this and compromising their own locker room) and lay-down the highest punishment for his actions. Dude is over 30 and he acting like he's on his sophomore year. His actions sealed his career and I'm sure he can kiss his playing days goodbye. Nobody will ever again trust this dude.

Lynch should go ballistic on Campbell after he abandoned the team in the middle of the game. Quitter Campbell intentionally killed the morale of the team as he single-handedly destroyed the 49ers any chance for playoff spot. His cowardice act was in perfect timing as the team needed him the most in that very moment. The Rams have to appreciate his action for causing the huge loss to the 49ers with humiliation on national TV.
