  • Working with reconnaissance devices like UAVs, CV90 crews can quickly detect and target enemies with countermeasures such as silent ranging and blinding target modes. Check out the CV90 firepower in action, in a possible future scenario.

The fog of war / line of sight system is amazing, as is the data sharing. A platoon of these suckers, with only one going active, providing target coordinates to the ‘shooters’, or even better from GlobalEye or a JAS 39, high above, beyond visible range. I imagine teamwork is going to be even more important in the future than it is already.

Teamwork and the availability of active data gathering is and will be very important.
You can think of it this way:
You cant hit what you cant see/find.
The shots you fire are useless unless they hit the enemy (psychological warfare not being a part of it).
You cant defend against attacks that you cant see coming.
I belive we will see a huge upgrade in all active defences and that will be the state at which defences are meassured, at least untill we find new hard armor or can solve everything using drones.
Knowing where attacks come from will absolutely aid future engagements and if you can do automatic counter fire from a range of platforms... I dont see how you'll survive for very long unless your active defences are up to scratch.

Maybe they have a LVKV9040 equipped with a radar. Great for taking out helicopters and drones. And datalinking target data.
Or, the data got datalinked from a GlobalEye AEW&C.
Or, the sight automatically scan for moving targets.

In a real war air superiority wouldn't even let this happen in the first place. This is a demonstration basically to say look, we can use air burst rounds to defeat APS which the T-14 and some Chinese tanks use in place of heavy armor.
