- Working with reconnaissance devices like UAVs, CV90 crews can quickly detect and target enemies with countermeasures such as silent ranging and blinding target modes. Check out the CV90 firepower in action, in a possible future scenario.
The fog of war / line of sight system is amazing, as is the data sharing. A platoon of these suckers, with only one going active, providing target coordinates to the ‘shooters’, or even better from GlobalEye or a JAS 39, high above, beyond visible range. I imagine teamwork is going to be even more important in the future than it is already.
Teamwork and the availability of active data gathering is and will be very important.
You can think of it this way:
You cant hit what you cant see/find.
The shots you fire are useless unless they hit the enemy (psychological warfare not being a part of it).
You cant defend against attacks that you cant see coming.
I belive we will see a huge upgrade in all active defences and that will be the state at which defences are meassured, at least untill we find new hard armor or can solve everything using drones.
Knowing where attacks come from will absolutely aid future engagements and if you can do automatic counter fire from a range of platforms... I dont see how you'll survive for very long unless your active defences are up to scratch.
I just love the cv90 platform, it's hard to beat...
Imagine landing an invasion force in "the near future" with Sav m/43s
it looks like it doesn't even have a gun
@@maltevelandermodig4165 Tell me how the lack of a gun matters when it wouldn't be manned and fire back anyway during this demonstration?
@@nikoolix I'm joking, just like the comment above
All marketing to export the tank, in no way a real war situation would go this smooth.
@@Metalbringer92 i dont see why not. with enough training and teamwork, anything can be done, especially with technology such as this. also, we have seen how incompetent russias armed forces are in ukraine, they will be no match.
Now Russian T-54s with upgraded sights are on the battlefield. And CV90ies are there.
This video was ahead of its time!
Drunk conscripts who barely know how to drive rotten 50 yo BMP1 are having chance to meet CV90 in battle.
Should have orders cv90 mr Cameron
Really good machine! Our war confirmed her advantages. Thanks from Ukraine🤗
3 years ago so this must be 35mm CV90 Mk 4.
I wonder how that silent laser rangefinder works, I cant find any information on it.
Their capability for destroying a stationary target is amazing😁
Now I want part 2 : moving enemy targets.
That is the easy part, has been for years.
This video clearly went wayyy over your head.
moving targets can't shoot back so they are easier
My hometown =)
This possible future scenario is here today, or is already yesterday’s scenario…
Cool demo, especially the target, which is a WW2 Marder III ausf H
Funny scenario
Hmmm, how does the CV90 detect the UAV??
Maybe they have a LVKV9040 equipped with a radar. Great for taking out helicopters and drones. And datalinking target data.
Or, the data got datalinked from a GlobalEye AEW&C.
Or, the sight automatically scan for moving targets.
I mean, spoiling that kind of makes it easier for the enemy right?
Holy fuck😍😍😍
Imagine if the enemy landed on proving grounds.
were those missiles hellfies?
@belsebub noncristen found that the missiles were Israeli spike missiles
I thought that was the ATGM AKERON missile
Akeron AT missiles
Soon we see them in Ukraine. Good luck 🤞
That is some very scary technology, searching in 'quiet' mode, very impressive. Yet (1.58) WONKY labels! No nonononono noooo! my ocd has been triggered, cancel the war I'm not touching those switches until the labels have been sorted.
There is only one place for 'the spawny-eyed wazzock' that applied those tags, he gets to sit in the 'enemy' tank during live firing exercises, the prick!
Pax dudes.
Poor sav. :(
:)
🤔 Speaker .. 🤔
That speaker is like something right out of C&C Generals. I love it.
This is playing beginner level! In real war scenario, you will be blown up to pieces in few seconds.
In a real war air superiority wouldn't even let this happen in the first place. This is a demonstration basically to say look, we can use air burst rounds to defeat APS which the T-14 and some Chinese tanks use in place of heavy armor.
@@BravoCheesecake Let us know how well that Russian air superiority is going.
@@ZarkowsWorld I think you took my comment the wrong way. The Russian air force is a joke and cannot operate in a contested environment. I was making the point that a CV-90 wouldn't even have to engage this target in the first place. A bomb would just be dropped on it from 45,000 feet lol
@@BravoCheesecake In Ukraine, as an example, neither side has air dominance, so the hardware on the ground is very important.
@@BravoCheesecake the sheer saturation of air defence systems on the modern battlefield makes air support nigh impossible
