- The detective show from the late 70's early 80's featured a number of scenes filmed in railways around London.
We put all the scenes together as it makes a great achieve time capsule showing many locations which are no longer there
Absolutely brilliant - loved it and so many Class 50's in it too. Thanks for doing this and sharing it, a really great watch. ..........Graham
Excellent! To quote Vivien from 'The Young Ones': "My favourite TV show - Bastard Squad"!
the last scene was at poplar docks the site now taken up by the dlr and aspen way
Stratford Sidings was actually called Thornton Fields Carriage Sidings. It was even named as that in the show. It's where the Olympic stadium now stands.
One location where the trains are no more
Stratford sidings
Looked like Thornton fields, the land is now part of the Olympic park
The scene at 11.25 looks like Old Oak Common depot. The incline line is familiar to me and the water the woman threw the case into was the Grand Union canal in west London.
Great Series Brilliant idea stringing the "shots" together
great watch them all time
Very interesting. I have never seen this show...maybe I'll start watching some episodes. thanks.
Thank you for this. A nice idea, and "The Professionals" remains my favourite TV series. Edit: It occurs to me that you've missed a few train-related locations here; for instance, Chalk Farm Station in the episode "Blood Sports".
Brilliant, thank you .
Nice collection although I do also remember some scene parked up below a great western embankment with an HST going past.
Probably Southall.
Nowadays they would have to pick there way through the Buddleia and endless trip hazards caused by Network Rail contractors leaving old materials lying around.
Wow I never knew that trains had a number of cameo's
03:27 has anyone else tried to read the number of that 50 ?
5004?, unable to pick out the last digit, despite several freeze frame attempts
It's 50049 Defiance.
