Fab walk Dave and Logan!😊Thank you! We loved Logans zoomies! We are still smiling!😊 That beer and food looked yum! Good old Pipers crisps! We now measure all Crisps by Logan! .......Logan would like these or Logan might not like these! Haha!😊
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I recognise many parts along your route from previous walks I’ve done in the New Forest and brings back fond memories.
Thanks Dave. We used to live in Sandleheath and would often walk along Hampton Ridge to the pub at Frithham. I'm from Alderholt, my parents are from Fordingbridge and they had their wedding reception in the Fighting Cocks in 1977!
Thanks Dave you had to go in to those pubs for research purposes obviously hope they gave you a free dinner for advertising for them!!! We enjoyed the walk. God bless from Ralph and Sheila
Breakfast looked good Dave . Did Logan get a treat?A good walk after breakfast..nothing better on a beautiful day with gorgeous views and a wonderful companion like Logan. Have a great weekend Dave and give Logan a big hug from me. ☀️
My kinda walk Dave, 3 pubs and an English to start! Didn't realise the High Corner (the only one of the 3 I've sampled) was now a Butcombe Inn, my local brewery. I feel a re-visit is long overdue. Keep up the good work.
3 pubs, 3 pints - albeit the first one of tea! Another great exploration! I loved the little clump of trees on skyline above Dockens water and Logan looked like he enjoyed the zoomies by the 2nd stream. Does Logan have a favourite flavour of crisps or do they just have to be Pipers? Thanks for another great Friday entertainment!!
Thanks Jean. I don't think Logan is that worried about the flavour although I only give him a few as they really are not ideal for dogs (and he gets normal dog treats after filming). That clump of trees at the top of the ridge is one of my favourite viewing points in the New Forest.
Thanks Dave. My kind of walk. Beautiful scenery with suitable "refreshment" breaks to keep a soul going.
Thank you. A fair bit of visiting pubs for "research purposes only" on that walk!
I remember HIgh Corner Inn in the 70’s. The track to the pub was full of potholes. Thank you for these videos.
Thank you. The track to the pub is not exactly smooth these days!
Good evening dave excellent video so very enjoyable lovely pubs excellent scenery and brilliant views excellent stuff
Thank you Craig. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
Thank you Dave. That was very welcome viewing on a bitterly cold December morning. One of my favourite parts of the forest too.
Thanks Angela. Yes - a reminder of warmer times!
I love seeing Logan run ❤️
He quite enjoyed his "Zoomies" that day!
Thanks once again Dave and Logan for another fabulous walk 👍😊
Thank you Matt. :)

Thank you Susan. Yes, Pipers are the best ..... according to Logan!
Great views! Thanks Dave&Logan
Thank you Hannu. :)
Amazing walking tour of the countryside village pub and wonderful fields with horses
Thank you Keith. It is a lovely art of the New Forest arouynd there.
A pint of Tail Wagger seems like the perfect end of the journey!! 🐶
Yes indeed Tim- very appropriate!
a really beautiful and relaxing walk
Thank you Alan & indeed thanks for watching.

Well deserved pint! brilliant video a part of the New Forest I've not really explored much.
Thank you. Well worth a visit - especially when the weather is good!
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I recognise many parts along your route from previous walks I’ve done in the New Forest and brings back fond memories.
Thank you Jade. Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
Thanks Dave. We used to live in Sandleheath and would often walk along Hampton Ridge to the pub at Frithham. I'm from Alderholt, my parents are from Fordingbridge and they had their wedding reception in the Fighting Cocks in 1977!
Thanks Tom for sharing your memories and indeed thank you for watching.
Thanks Dave you had to go in to those pubs for research purposes obviously hope they gave you a free dinner for advertising for them!!! We enjoyed the walk. God bless from Ralph and Sheila
Thanks Ralph. I certainly think that Logan should be able to claim a "complimentary" sausage!
Great Dave. New Forest is so special ! May it keep being so ?
Thanks Geoff. Definitely my favourite part of the New Forest.
Breakfast looked good Dave . Did Logan get a treat?A good walk after breakfast..nothing better on a beautiful day with gorgeous views and a wonderful companion like Logan. Have a great weekend Dave and give Logan a big hug from me. ☀️
Thank you Melissa. Oh yes - Logan had the sausage!
@@DaveFord That is wonderful he deserves it. He is a lovely dog .
Good man Dave. Enjoyed the video.
Thank you & indeed thanks for watching.
Really enjoyed the video! I hope Logan is keeping well
Thank you. Yes, Logan is in fine form.
My kinda walk Dave, 3 pubs and an English to start! Didn't realise the High Corner (the only one of the 3 I've sampled) was now a Butcombe Inn, my local brewery. I feel a re-visit is long overdue. Keep up the good work.
Thank you. Some great ale in all three pubs for sure!
For your research you should call it pub to pub... to pub. I'm envious Dave. It's dropping it down here today on this 1st December in Lyon.
Yes, it is a tad on the "cool" side here at the moment! :)

Does Logan like beer, Dave and have you ever offered him a taste.? That must be a record for you. Three pubs and all open. Lovely are to walk in.
Thanks Lionel. Logan sticks to water as alcohol is toxic for dogs so it is just me that has the task of "quality testing" the ale!
@DaveFord I didn't know that. I'm sure I've seen pictures of dogs with their tongue in a beer glass in the past.
A pub to pub walk, with another pub thrown in for “research purposes”. Hard work, but someone has to do it. I noticed you’re using some new music too.
Yes - the "research" & "quality testing" of the ale is such a vital part of the walk!
