Great video! If you could, would you be able to put up a 2nd video with commentary on how to deal with caster cleaves, or ranged heavy lobbies in SS? I've been having trouble with destro locks in particular on large maps like Tol'Viron.
And I don't think I quite realized until I saw this clip just how vulnerable a target h.pal is, esp when their bubble and trinket are gone. lol, like you as a ret I feel for them, hahha
I don’t fight many caster cleaves in my lobby’s which is maybe surprising but if I find footage I will!
How do you show your holy power under your character? I’m using a weak aura but yours is way cleaner
It’s an option in the default blizz ui. Search ‘Show resources’ in the interface menu
Yo! You’ve been super helpful in my growth as ret in pvp and I’m successful in all unranked queue types plus blitz (lol) but SS sucks bad. They just focus me and eventually wear me down after all defensives get used. Any tips? I don’t have anyone to do ranked 2s+ but just thinking I won’t SS on ret
I’ll be posting shuffle videos. General tips are learning your optimal damage rotation and when to trade certain cooldowns. The best way to learn what defensives to trade and when are by getting a basic understanding of how other classes do their damage rotation/ burst. After that it’s things like defensive positioning. So for example if I am playing a shuffle and I have to use bubble and I don’t have my shield of veng and divine protection off cooldown and we are not close to netting a kill I will likely play safe if the game is looking even or we are slightly behind in CDs/ pressure and I will resume full offensive positioning when either my healer or myself arnt vulnerable to either CC or dying without being able to trade a cooldown.
Thanks for response! I’ve played a bit more since my comment and working on basically what you said. Using defensives properly, holding them, etc. and finally just committing to ret since I’m an altaholic.

How to survive never wog or flash of light at low health it does nothing just bubble
I tried your setup. No set items and only vers/mastery with vers prio. Its so much better than the set version! Btw with 47% versatility…ret still feels squishy lol.
With these dodges, parries like def cd-s that nullifys the dmg….even it you have 30% base dmg reduciton 😪😪
I hope SL ret playstyle will come back, bcz i dont like this hammerthrowing build. Ret was always good for its big melee hits, tbh this not feels good :D
I do miss melee Ret haha but there’s just no point in playing it since our mobility is still bad. The ranged makes up for it
The shit WoW turned into with the clutter and everything just blowing up on your screen - and the UI doesn't help either
